You’re Invited: PlayStation Experience Event in December

Here we go! I’m happy to announce our very first PlayStation Experience, a massive two-day community event dedicated to the people who bring PlayStation to life: you! We’ve been planning this bad boy for some time… and with PlayStation’s 20-year anniversary just around the corner, the timing couldn’t be more perfect.

Prepare for two intense days of PlayStation gaming, content, and activities. Attendees will sit in on in-depth panels, meet the industry’s best developers, score hands-on gameplay with tons of upcoming PlayStation games, collect free swag, and get a chance to purchase rare collectibles directly from their favorite game studios. Attendees will also get an exclusive first look at what’s coming next in 2015, which I am told you will not want to miss.

The two-day community event will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 6th and 7th, 2014. And stay tuned for October 20th, when we release details on how you can be part of this legendary event; the one-day pass will cost $50.00, with the two-day pass going for $90. The venue is huge, too, so we’ll have plenty of room and plenty of games. Bring your friends and family (if they are 18 and over)!

If you can’t make it to PlayStation Experience in person (we’ll miss you!), don’t worry. Per usual, PlayStation.Blog will be offering comprehensive coverage of the event, including breaking news as well as live video through multiple distribution channels. 　　SCE日前公布PS4主机2.0更新即将于2014年秋季到来，而本次更新还有一个代号——“正宗(Masamune)”。除了之前就公布过的Share Play功能，升级之后PS4还将支持YouTube和主题功能，还可以使用USB音乐播放，屏幕颜色变化等新功能。

　　完整功能详情：

　　分享游玩：用户可以作为主机，通过网络招待同Party的好友一起游玩自己拥有的PS4游戏。

　　USB音乐播放：允许用户将自己喜欢的音乐放在USB中，并将USB插在PS4上直接播放音乐。在这之中会出现USB音乐播放的新选项，目前支持的音乐格式包括MP3、MP4、M4A和3GP。

　　改变颜色：和过往PlayStation主机一样，PS4也可以改变主界面的颜色，看腻了以往蓝色的玩家可以尝试一下。目前支持的颜色包括金色、蓝色、红色、绿色、紫色、粉色和灰色。

　　增强了在线直播功能：可以下载全新应用“Live From PlayStation”观看直播，用户可以观看包括PS平台上大众玩家的直播、好友的直播并可以筛选你喜欢的游戏观看直播。

　　内容区域和图书馆：PS4的内容区域经过了重新的设计可以帮助玩家快速查找和访问内容。现在界面上会优先显示15个玩家最常用的应用或游戏，而其他更多的内容会转移到图书馆中。图书馆也提高了筛选和排序功能，以帮助玩家快速找到内容。目前包括的筛选条件有字母 (A-Z或Z-A)、最近使用和安装日期。

　　增强了语音命令：语音命令得到增强。用户可以说出“PlayStation”开启语音命令，说出“All Commands”可以看到所有支持语音命令的选项。更新后增加了“Start broadcast”、“End broadcast”和“Find face”三个选项。

　　添加到图书馆：在PS商店下载每月的PS+会员免费游戏时，都可以看到一个“添加到图书馆”的新按钮。此功能可以让玩家不下载游戏就将其添加到图书馆中，节省硬盘空间。

　　备份数据：在PS4上可以利用USB存储装置备份游戏，可备份的项目包括设置、存档、截图、视频、下载数据和其他。（不在2.00更新中）

　　除了PS4更新了2.0之外，索尼还公布PSV、PS TV版本更新到3.35的和PlayStation App升级到2.0的消息。

　　PSV、PS TV 3.35版本更新：支持四名玩家利用PS TV进行Remote Play。此外更新后PSV和PV TV都可以下载“Live from PlayStation”的应用，并可以通过该应用在PSV和PS TV上观看PS4平台的游戏直播。

　　PlayStation App 2.0更新：更新后提供了针对平板电脑的版本，并且对主界面进行了重新设计。








  

  


PS4 System Software Preview – USB Music Player, New Home Screen Colors, More

You may already know that PS4’s upcoming system software 2.00, codenamed Masamune, adds some big features including Share Play, YouTube support, and Themes – but the updates don’t end there. I have personally stated in past blog posts that we listen to our fans. PlayStation has heard gamers when they say they want more ways to find friends to play with, and more ways to personalize their PS4. With this update, we’ve added a Players You May Know tile, the ability to listen to your music while gaming, the option to change the look of your PS4 experience, and easier ways to sort and filter your library of content on PS4.

PS4 has been on sale for almost a year and we’re committed to improving the player experience in entirely new ways. As always, we welcome feedback as part of our ongoing effort to make PS4 the best place to play.

• USB Music Player: PS4 owners can play their own music in the background while playing a game using USB Music Player*. After inserting a USB stick loaded with music into the PS4, a new option for USB Music Player will appear. Supported filename extensions include MP3, MP4, M4A, and 3GP.

• Change colors: In addition to the ability to add a theme, PS4 owners can also change the background of the home screen from light blue to one of seven new colors: gold, blue, red, green, purple, pink, and gray.

• Players You May Know: PS4 will now suggest players you may know in the ‘What’s New’ section, recommending gamers your friends frequently play with.

• Enhancements to Live Broadcasting: Masamune brings a variety of improvements to live broadcasting on PS4. In the Live From PlayStation app, PS4 owners can now select a Featured channel, which includes official broadcasts from PlayStation, broadcasts from people on a players friend list, and any game channel that the player has followed. Additionally, Live From PlayStation now has filters for searching broadcasts on a specific game, as well as support for archived broadcasts.

• Content Area and Library: PS4’s Content Area, which shows the latest games and apps a PS4 owner has used, has been redesigned to help make it easier to quickly find and access content. It now shows 15 of a player’s most used apps or games, and additional items will be added to a player’s Library. The Library on PS4 has improved filter and sort functions to help organize contented by type (game / app / TV & video), name (a – z or z – a), recently used, or install date.

• Enhanced Voice Commands: The ability to control PS4 using voice has been improved. Players can now say ‘PlayStation’ to begin commands, and ‘All Commands,’ to see a list of all voice command options available. New voice commands were added for live broadcasting, including “Start broadcast,” “End broadcast,” and “Find face.”

• Add To Library: The monthly free PlayStation Plus games will have an ‘Add to Library’ button in the PlayStation Store. This button will add a game to a PS4 owner’s library without downloading it – saving space on their hard drive.

• Back Up Data: Data on PS4 can be backed up and resorted using USB storage. This will back up all data for the console, including settings, save data, screenshots, video clips, download data, and more.










PS Vita and PS TV – 3.35 update, Live From PlayStation

The PS Vita and PS TV systems will also receive a system software update to version 3.35 with the same timing as Masamune, adding four-player Remote Play support to PS TV. In addition, the Live from PlayStation app, which allows users to watch live gameplay streams from PS4 systems, will be available on both PS Vita and PS TV alongside this update.

PlayStation App 2.0 update

The PlayStation App for smartphones and tablets, available free on the App Store and Google Play, is also set to receive an update to version 2.0 within the same launch window as both the PS4 and PS Vita system software updates. This update provides a new layout for tablets, and the app’s home screen has been redesigned.

PlayStation Experience Tickets on Sale 10/24

Just over a week ago, we announced the first ever PlayStation Experience — a massive, two-day community event featuring over 400,000 square feet of PlayStation games, panels, contests, signings, giveaways, collectible memorabilia, and much more. On December 6th and 7th, fans and developers will unite in Las Vegas to celebrate what it means to be a part of the PlayStation Nation together.

Starting this Friday, October 24th, tickets will be available here. Over the course of the next six weeks, stay tuned to PlayStation.Blog and PlayStation.com for details on panel times, participating publishers, playable games, and PlayStation Experience collectibles!

　　索尼电脑娱乐（SCE）宣布，将于10 月28 日释出开发代号「正宗（Masamune）」的PS4 2.00 版系统软体，追加能与远端好友分享同一款游戏的「分享游玩（Share Play）」等新功能。
 
　　本次的2.00 版系统软体是PS4 上市以来最大的一次改版，将导入在PS4 最初发表时曾经提及的「分享游玩」功能，之外还包括布景主题、YouTube 上传、USB 音乐播放器等众多新功能。
 
分享游玩
 
　　分享游玩是派对（Party）功能的延伸，让玩家在游玩游戏时可以按下分享按钮邀请1 名朋友一同观看与游玩同一款游戏，对方不需要拥有该游戏，只需要透过影音串流播送就能一起游玩。

　　分享游玩提供3 种功能，包括主人（游戏持有者）与访客（接受分享者）共享游玩画面、主人将操作权转给访客代为游玩，以及与访客一起游玩。想使用分享游玩功能，主人与访客都必须具备PlayStation Plus 会员资格。每次只能让派对中的1 名好友加入（其他好友可语音交谈但无法看见画面）。每次最长可游玩 1 个小时。分享游玩无法与遥控游玩及播送游玩过程功能一起使用。

YouTube
 
　　支援与YouTube 服务的连动，可将截取下来的影片上传到YouTube 上分享。

布景主题
 
　　支援Home 选单的自订布景主题与配色功能。

　　官方预定于同日释出《到哪都相伴》的付费布景主题「《到哪都相伴》多乐的房间篇主题」，价格324 日圆（含税），PlayStation Plus 会员可于11 月5 日至18日期间免费下载（※）。

USB 音乐播放器
 
　　可背景播放USB 储存装置上的音乐档案，支援格式包括MP3、MP4、M4A 与3GP。

播送游玩过程
 
　　播送游玩过程功能强化，播送中可以追加各种效果，还可以在画面上加上简易资讯。

Live from PlayStation
 
　　观看游戏实况直播的「Live from PlayStation」功能强化，追加「推荐」分类，提供包括SCE 官方频道、好友与关注玩家的直播内容。支援游戏名称搜寻、播送语系过滤、直播内容保存。

内容区与收藏库
 
　　Home 选单的内容区规则调整，原本是显示玩家最近使用的游戏或App，现在改成显示15 个最常使用的游戏或App，之外的项目会移到「收藏库」中。收藏库提供更为强化的过滤与排序选项帮助玩家更简单快速地整理自己拥有的内容，包括类型、名称、最近使用时间或安装时间等。

　　另外，PlayStation Store 中的PS Plus 免费游戏将新增「加入收藏库」的按钮，玩家可以直接将免费游戏加入自己的收藏库而不需要实际下载，等想游玩时再下载，以节省硬碟机储存空间。

PlayStation 4′s system software update v2.00, codenamed Masamune, launches next Tuesday, 28th October. One of the features included in the update that I’m most excited about is Share Play, and we put together a quick video to show you how this innovative feature works. Check it out!

As we’ve said before, the best way to think about Share Play is like a “virtual couch”. PS4 will create an online local co-op experience by allowing you to invite a friend to join your game for up to one hour at a time – even when they don’t own a copy of it. Share Play has three main functions:

• Share Screen – Share your screen with a friend, allowing them to spectate. This is ideal for PS4 owners that want to watch their friends play a game and provide helpful tips. PlayStation Plus is not required to use this.

• Hand over my controller – Pass your controller to a friend, virtually, and watch them play. Your friend does not need to own, or even download the game, in order to use this feature. This is perfect for introducing your friends to new games. The host will need to be a PlayStation Plus member, but the guest does not.

• Hand over another controller – If a game supports local multiplayer, you can have your friend join as player two. Again, the visitor does not need to own, or download the game in order to use this feature. Both players will need PlayStation Plus to use this feature.

Share Play pushes the social interactivity of PS4 to new heights and we can’t wait for everyone to try it out. What games are you looking forward to trying Share Play with?

Project Morpheus 预定11 月在日本举办体验活动《夏日课程》首度公开展出

　　日本PlayStation 官方社群网站今（27）日宣布，将于11 月29、30 两日在日本东京举办虚拟实境系统「Project Morpheus」的玩家体验会，会中将展出原本计画在东京电玩展提供试玩、但是因反应太过热烈而临时取消的虚拟实境体验《夏日课程（Summer Lesson）》为主的内容。

　　本次的体验活动预定于11 月29、30 日（六、日）在日本东京都内某地举办，每日分为6 个梯次进行，每个梯次80 分钟。活动采完全报名招待制，欲参与者必须具备Sony Entertainment Network 帐号，透过官方社群网站的讯息功能于11 月3 日前报名，预定抽选出700 个名额。
 
　　活动中将可以体验Project Morpheus 的功能与虚拟实境互动技术展示，其中最引人注目的莫过于原田胜弘领军的《铁拳》系列团队制作、以担任家庭教师与女高中生互动的虚拟实境体验《夏日课程》。原本该体验预定在东京电玩展中展出但临时喊卡，如今终于有机会能让玩家亲自体验。
 
　　《夏日课程》总监兼制作人原田胜弘也预定会出席该体验会活动。

　　Project Morpheus 目前仍在开发中原型阶段，上市日期与正式名称尚未确定。

　　PS4系统2.00更新即将于美国时间2014年10月28日到来，中国玩家大概会在今日晚些时间迎来更新推送。在更新之前SCE官方也放出了一段2.00更新新增功能的总览视频，其中包括很多玩家们期待已久的功能，经过2.00之后PS4主机系统更加趋于完善。

　　首先USB播放音乐功能，支持玩家直接插入USB存储设备并用PS4播放其中的音乐。
　　主题功能允许PS4更换背景颜色并且选择自定义主题，目前官方公开了三款主题，今后肯定会追加更多付费主题。
　　新的语音指令，说出PlayStation可以打开语音控制，之后说出All Commands可以打开全部语音指令列表。
　　下载时终于可以暂停或继续项目了。
　　进入聊天派对之后控制选项全部转移到了右侧，邀请界面也变得更加清晰。
　　分享视频可以直接上传到Youtube，同时还支持简单的视频剪辑之后再上传。
　　Live from PlayStation让直播增加更多人性化选择，可以选择自己最喜欢的游戏并只收看这个游戏的直播，同时还可以让PlayStation Eye录下自己正在游玩的样子并上传直播。

　　当然Share Play和强化内容区域管理等视频中没有展示的功能也会随着更新加入到PS4中。

   

Major PS4 System Software Update v2.0 Available Tomorrow

PS4‘s system software v2.00, codenamed Masamune, is making its arrival tomorrow and we can’t wait for you to check out all the new enhancements it’ll bring to your PS4. This update adds unique, forward-looking features like Share Play, and addresses some of the most highly requested features from the community including YouTube integration, USB music player, ability to find players you may know, sorting options for PS4′s game library, and themes that change the look of your home screen. This is the biggest update we’ve delivered to date for PS4.

Here’s a recap of some top features you can expect with Masamune in list form

• Share Play: PlayStation 4 will create an online local co-op experience by allowing you to invite a friend to join your game — even when they don’t own a copy of it. PlayStation Plus membership is required for certain Share Play features.

• YouTube: Upload your gameplay highlights directly from PS4 to YouTube by clicking the “SHARE” button on DualShock 4. In addition, a YouTube app for PS4 will be available to download from the PlayStation Store.

• Themes & Colors: Personalize your home screen background with select themes and colors. As a big thank-you to the PlayStation Nation, we want to kick-start your dynamic theme options by giving away a theme for two of the biggest titles gamers will be playing on PlayStation 4 this fall; Destiny and Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Both themes will be available for download on Tuesday.

• Live Broadcasting Enhancements: Search filters, archived broadcast support and more have been added to Live from PlayStation

• Content Area & Library: Find and access your content quicker with a redesigned Content Area and improved filter and sort functions for the PS4 Library.

• USB Music Player: Insert USB memory with music in your PS4 and start playing your favorite tunes in the background.

• What’s New: To make the activity feed more relevant and timely for you, What’s New will add Friends of Friends suggestions and Live Broadcasting updates from your friends at the top of your feed.

PS Vita and PS TV Update

Also available tonight is a new system software update (v3.35) for PS Vita and PS TV, which includes 4-player Remote Play support for PS TV, as well as the Live from PlayStation app, which allows you watch game streams from PS4 on both your PS Vita and PS TV devices. A full features list and instructions for updating PS Vita and PS TV can be found here after the update goes live.

PS App Update

Lastly, don’t forget to update your PlayStation App on your mobile devices to the latest version. The new 2.0 update will include a redesigned home screen, and a new layout for tablets.
