Nippon Ichi Software has released the first official information and screenshots of Your Four Knight Princesses Training Story, its recently announced action RPG where the player takes on the role of an instructor that guides four princesses.

■ Story

The setting of the story is a world where swords, magic, and “relics” of an ancient civilization exist. You, the battle and training expert known as the “Instructor Knight,” receive a request to visit the four “Relic Islands.”

As an instructor, your mission is the guidance of the four princesses belonging to each power.



“The Kingdom of Alixern City,” a country of lush agriculture. “The Rust Magic Guild,” which has a strong desire for knowledge, but lacks moral value. The “Noble Business Alliance,” where “relics” are actively utilized. And the “North Amata Clan Federation,” where many demi-humans reside.

How will you teach and guide the princesses? Which princess’ battle will you oversee? What sort of conclusion awaits? Everything depends on the choices you make.

The story of “you” and the “four knight princesses” is about to begin.

Liliati (voiced by Ayane Sakura)



A princess who serves as the head knight of the Alixarn Kingdom. While she is no good at thinking about complicated issues, she has a cheerful and positive personality, and is loved by her soldiers and the people.

Since he defeats the dragon threatening the country, and treats its people to the dish of their dreams, “Dragon Steak,” she invites the protagonist, dubbed “Dragon Slayer,” to the country.

Veronica (voiced by Hiromi Igarashi)



A young genius witch who leads the islands’ greatest black magic guild. She is free-thinking and takes on an arrogant attitude with anyone she comes into contact with, but is charismatic when it comes to magicians who stress amount of talent.

She finds it efficient to use the techniques of ancient civilizations in order to conquer the world, and kidnaps the protagonist, who has is a scholar when it comes to relics.

Monmaria (voiced by Rarisa Takeda Tago)



A fallen noble of the Noble Business Alliance, and the princess of the Eudalia family. Even in poverty, she has many vassals who admire her, and manages to survive through her vassal and mercenary business.

She believes her growth is essential for the revival of the Eudalia family, and seeks the leadership of the protagonist, who is famous as an educationalist.

Alpana (voiced by Yuuki Kuwahara)



Princess of the Dragon People, and founder of the “Great Kamara Faith” long followed by the North Amata Clan Federation. She is a philanthropist aiming for the coexistence of all races.

In order to broaden the creed of the Kamara Faith and save everyone, she requests the cooperation of the protagonist, who is familiar with the languages and cultures of various places.

■ Game Outline

The Player is the Trainer of Princesses!

The protagonist is a training and combat professional known as the “Instructor Knight.” Players will form a contract with the princesses of each major power, and as their official instructor, guide them while fighting to fulfill their goals.

The player will meet and train a total of four princesses. The game has multiple stories that are different for each princess.





Praise, Scold, and Train the Princesses!

The hero can guide the princesses in various situations, such as during conversations or in battle. By appropriately conducting two types of guidance—“praise” or “scold”—you can stimulate the growth of the princesses and grant them temporary stat increase effects, allowing you to advance battles with a greater advantage.

The reaction after praising or scolding a princess is different depending on the princess’ personality and the state of battle. Raise the princesses to maturity while enjoying this form of communication.







Command Soldiers and Defeat Enemy Armies

The protaonist and princess, as the “Commander,” will lead their own platoon into battle. The player controls the princess and protagonist, and and fight alongside their soldiers while also wielding a weapon themselves, while aiming for the destruction of their enemies and the completion of their mission. This is a type of strategy action where both the player character and the commands issued to soldiers are the key to victory.







■ First-Print Bonus

First-print copies of Your Knight Princesses Training Story will include a soundtrack CD with an original booklet (featuring character setting materials and in-game illustrations) and wallpaper data (for PC and smartphones) encased in a custom illustrated jacket. The soundtrack features a selection of background music from the game.

■ “Your” Story, Spun by Four Princesses

The player is a battle and training professional known as the “Instructor Knight.” He is a freelance educationalist Instructor Knight who acts as an elegant instructor in various countries in response to requests.

You receive requests from the four major powers of the “Relic Islands” at the same time, and sign a short-term contract with each power to instruct each of their princesses. Which Princess you form a contract with is up to the player. However, it is necessary to train all of the princesses once.

Upon meeting the four princesses, the player will come to understand each princess’ goal and thoughts, as well as the many mysteries of the “Ancient Relics” that lie dormant on the Relic Islands.

As an Instructor Knight, which princess’ wish will you grant? Your Four Knight Princesses Training Story is a multi-story game where different stories develop based on the player’s choices and how you teach the princesses.

◆ Direct Teaching: Praise, Scold, and Train Your Princess

“Direct Teaching” is a system in which the player can either “praise” or “scold” their princess. This can be done at various times, such as during conversations or in battle, and afterwards you can enjoy a change in her speech and special scenes.

Also, by carrying out Direct Teaching, you can obtain “Knowledge Materia,” which are items required to strengthen the princesses. Direct Teaching, in which communication with the princesses is closely connected to their training, is one of the major appeals of this game.

◆ Princess Parameters and Knowledge Materia

The Five Parameters

The four princesses’ abilities are indicated through five parameters: “Martial Arts,” “Culture,” “Courage,” “Ethics,” and “Reliance.” By developing these parameters, you can strenghten the characters through the increase of their attack power and defense power, and unlocking of skills.



Develop Your Parameters with Knowledge Materia

By using Knowledge Materia, you can increase your princesses’ parameters. There are many types of Knowledge Materia, and the parameters they develop differ. Depending on how you use them, you can evenly develop all parameters, develop with a focus on one parameter, etc.



Obtain Knowledge Materia Through Direct Teaching

Knowledge Materia can be obtained through Direct Teaching. Proactively teach the princesses in order to develop their abilities.



■ Actions

◆ Defeat Enemies with Commanders and Soldiers

The Commander Controlled by the Player

The protagonist and princess, as the “Commander,” will lead their own army of soldiers into battle. The Commander is a powerful character with several means of attack, but he cannot go at it alone. Since countless enemies will appear during action parts, work together with your ally soldiers in order to clear the stage.









The Soldiers that Fight on Their Own

There are several types of Soldiers, including Pawns that mainly deal in close-range attacks, and Magic Soldiers thatfight with magic attacks. Soldiers essentially follow the Commander, and attack based on their commands, but fight on their own through instruction and can use special attacks.

■ An Overview of Liliati and Veronica’s Battle Styles

In Your Four Knight Princesses Training Story, four unique princesses appear.

Liliati is from the agricultural Alixarn Kingdom. Veronica is from a black magic guild made up of magicians. Monomaria is from a trade nation and the Noble Business Alliance. And Alpana is from the North Kamara Clan Federation, where people follow the faith of the dragon god.

The princesses are all commanders that lead the soldiers of each power, but the weapons they use and how they fight differ. In Your Four Knight Princesses Training Story, you can enjoy diverse actions and a large variety of strategies for each princess.

This time, we will introduce the contrastive battle styles of Liliati and Veronica.

—During action parts, you will fight using the attack actions assigned to each button. Each princess controls the same, but their attack motions and range significantly differ.



◆ Liliati Alixarn (voiced by Ayane Sakura)



The princess of Alixarn and its head knight. While she is no good at thinking about complicated issues, she desires from the bottom of her heart to build a country where people can live happily and without hunger. She has a good appetite and dreams of eating dragon meat as a steak.

Liliati’s dedicated weapon is a two-handed axe. She has a standard attack style free of peculiarity where she mainly uses close-range physical attacks.



Dash Attack

Move at high speed while dealing damage to the enemies you touch. Since this serves as both movement and an attack, it is convenient for breaking through an enemy encirclement.



Axe Throw Attack

Throws the axe forward to attack an enemy. If you throw it after building up power, you can deal even greater damage.



◆ Veronica (voiced by Hiromi Igarashi)



The young genius witch who leads the black magic guild. She is arrogant and cool-headed, and is feared as someone who immediately turns useless people into frogs. Since she does not treat capable individuals and those who swear their allegiance with poor attitude, she is also adored.

As a magician, Veronica uses attack magic. She has a slightly less amount of moves, but can deal damage to a vast range of enemies.



Scapegoat Frog Bomb

Sets a frog-style time bomb, then withdraws with a dash. Be careful not to get caught up in the blast.



Magic Attack

Fires magic shots to attack the enemies in front of you. Depending on the how far along your parameters are, the power of the attack will increase.



■ Expanding the Princess’ Abilities with Knowledge Materia

By using items called “Knowledge Materia,” you can increase the princess’ parameters. You can acquire Knowledge Materia by repeatedly performing “Direct Teaching,” through which you’ll “scold” or “praise” the princess.

Enable a Vast Array of Tactics by Raising Your Parameters

In addition to increasing basic stats such as HP, raising the princess’ parameters can enable the strengthening of attack actions, and the unlocking of new branches of the army to hire to take along on the battlefield, as well as “tactics,” which can be used to control the actions of soldiers. Give Soldiers Commands through Tactics

A commander possesses several “tactics,” and by using them during battle, they can control their soldiers’ movements to a certain extent. The tactics that each commander can use differ. Discover the best strategy based on the character.



Increase the Field “Dominance”

By defeating enemies, as well as having your army occupy relics on the field, the field “Dominance” in the upper-right corner of the screen will increase. 　　玩家将化身战斗与教育的专家 “教导骑士”（教士），与统治 “遗物群岛” 四大势力的其中一位公主，缔结成为其教育者的契约。 以教育者身分指导公主，并以指挥官身分与公主一同率领小队战斗，从旁协助实现她们的愿望，就是游戏的最大目的。

　　玩家所指导的四位公主，分别由佐仓绫音、五十岚裕美、武田罗梨沙多胡、桑原由气等声优负责角色语音。

首先先来复习关于培育公主的情报。

　　正如日前报导所记载，玩家能在会话或战斗等各种场面下，对公主进行「赞美」或「训斥」的「直接教导」。

　　适当的指导除了能促进公主成长，还能欣赏到台词产生变化等特殊演出。 另外，若在战斗中特定情况下进行「赞美」或「训斥」，虽然次数有限，但却能够让公主的能力暂时提升，或是使体力回复。

　　当公主的参数提升，除了将提升 HP 等基本能力值，还将解锁强化攻击动作、雇用能带往战场的兵种、操控士兵行动的「作战」等要素。

　　更能够利用消耗知识物质所取得的「技能点数（スキルポイント）」，强化主角基本能力及攻击动作。











　　在此也先为玩家们复习关于战斗的基本知识。

　　本作的战斗，玩家需一边操控「指挥官」的公主或主角，一边率领自主行动的「士兵」来进行战斗。

各个公主攻击动作及射程虽有差异，但操作方式都一样

莉莉亚蒂是亚里克斯安街王国的公主，身兼骑士团团长。 个性开朗积极，不擅思考太复杂的事。 使用武器是「双手斧」，以近距离物理攻击为主轴，相当单纯的标准攻击型。

一边高速移动一边给予接触的敌人伤害。 兼具移动与攻击的效果，在突破敌方包围时相当实用。



〈投掷斧头攻击〉
向前方投掷斧头攻击敌人。 先蓄力再掷出，能给予敌人更大的伤害。

　　魔术公会首领的天才魔女薇若妮卡，在重视才能的魔术师之间是相当具有魅力的人物。 是个态度狂妄的合理主义者，同时也会给予有才能或发誓效忠的人不错的待遇，而受到众人拥戴。 在战斗里运用攻击次数少，却能给予广范围敌人伤害的攻击魔法。



魔术公会首领的天才魔女。 个性狂妄冷酷，将毫无用处的人立刻变为青蛙的行径令众人畏惧，但同时也会给予有才能的人、发誓效忠的人不错的待遇而被仰慕着。

设置青蛙型的定时炸弹，冲刺逃离现场。 注意别被爆风卷入了。

　　士兵们基本上会跟随指挥官战斗，但也能使用指挥官拥有的「作战」进行特殊行动。

　　每个指挥官能使用的作战各有不同，有些作战还必须击倒敌人或占领区域内设施，提升「区域支配率（フィールド支配率）」才能使用。

　　而士兵，还能藉由指挥官指示施展特殊攻击「指挥官攻击（コマンダーアタック）」。 虽能朝远处敌人突击或是使出范围攻击，但使用过度会造成移动速度下降，或是会容易因敌人的攻击畏缩，有一定的风险。







　　另外，战斗区域内还存在着能在战斗中产生各种效果的古代遗物「遗迹（レリック）」。 在战斗中接近遗迹停留一段时间将其「占领」后，就会成为攻击敌人的手段之一。
