       CompileHeart 宣布旗下全新RPG游戏《炼金术师之弧》延期，发售日期由原定的 11 月 29 日改为 2019 年 2 月 7 日，延期的主要原因是为提升游戏品质。

       作为CompileHeart的全新作品，《炼金术师之弧》的制作阵容十分豪华。其中最知名的当属天野喜孝，他将负责部分角色、魔物和场景的设计；主干战斗系统则由打造《沙迦》系列的小泉今日治担当。本作的舞台设定在沙漠之中，并融入了元素属性等设定。



Compile Heart has delayed Arc of Alchemist from its previously planned November 29 release date in Japan to February 7, 2019.

The company said additional time is required for further quality improvements.

Arc of Alchemist will be released for PlayStation 4.

Varnir of the Dragon Star pre-release special trailer

   

Compile Heart has released a pre-release special trailer for Varnir of the Dragon Star: Ecdysis of the Dragon ahead of the game’s launch in Japan next week.

Varnir of the Dragon Star: Ecdysis of the Dragon is due out for PlayStation 4 on October 11 in Japan.

　　《碧蓝航线》是由中国上海蛮啾网络科技与厦门勇仕网络技术制作，bilibili 发行的横向射击智能型手机游戏（Android／iOS）。 以战舰拟人化的少女作为主题，让玩家培育战舰少女组成舰队进行海战。

■ Tactical Action: Develop Various Strategies with Free Party Formation



Seamlessly Transition into Action-Based Battles

When you encounter an enemy on the field, you will seamlessly transition into action mode. The player will control Quinn and use preset “actions” to fight enemies. Since two types of actions can be set that correspond to the weapons Quinn uses, you can fight freely with your favorite battle style.

Form and Command Your Party to Fight in Strategic Battles

You will fight using a party of three characters, with party members acting automatically according to preset instructions. Since the player sets the party’s instructions, battles of even greater strategy will unfold by paying mind to cooperation with your party. You can set instructions for party members in the menu screen, as well as actions and formation.

Create Your Own Battle Style and Fight Freely

While maintaining your set formation, build your own battle style with various specifications, such as having everyone barraging the enemy with long-range magic attacks, or having them only attack as long as it does not allow the enemy a chance to attack.

The Luna Gear can control the attributes that correspond to the orbs. Using the Luna Gear with fire orbs inserted will allow you to generate fire that damages enemies, while a Luna Gear with earth orbs inserted can produce earth blocks that act as a defensive barrier. It is through these sorts of non-standard actions that the Luna Gear offers players a different means of combat.

Also, since you can insert up to two orb types into the Luna Gear, you can use actions that combine multiple attributes, like fire and water or wind and earth, to unleash even more powerful attacks.

—Generate fire to damage the enemy.



—Create earth blocks that act as a defensive barrier.



■ A Variety of Battle Styles: Build a Strategy and Freely Fight



While Arc of Alchemist uses a battle system with simple controls, it offers various ways to fight, including actions and usable weapons, cooperating with party members, attribute attacks via the Luna Gear, and more. How you fight is up to you. Build a strategy with your favorite play style, and make your way through the mechanical desert.

—Make the defense-specialized Sandra the vanguard and draw in the enemy, have Rune support her, and have the attack-specialized Quinn exterminate the enemies with this “Tank + Healer + Attacker” style.

Varnir of the Dragon Star details Shardo, Jaiga, Nyarumo, Gran, field exploration, presents, and madness

Compile Heart has updated the official website for Varnir of the Dragon Star: Ecdysis of the Dragon with introductions to characters Shardo, Jaiga, Nyarumo, and Gran, and the field exploration, presents, and madness gameplay systems.

■ Characters

Shardo (voiced by Yuuki Tai)



Cardinal of the Imperial Order and a close associate of the Emperor. Capable and cool-headed, he deals with real issues in a practical manner.

Jaiga (voiced by Kanehira Yamamoto)



A dragon hunter and member of Evil Raven who fawns over Durandol and Rubyeye. A man who always comes up with a temporary solution including selling out his comrades to save himself.

Nyarumo (voiced by Kanako Ito)



Some sort of cross between a black cat and a bat that runs the shop at the Witches Roost. He is Zubaaha’s pet and can be a bit sarcastic.

Gran (voiced by Yoshiyuki Ito)



Zephy’s close friend and a knight of the Knights of the Reaper. A man with a strong sense of justice, he cannot abandon a person in need. He has complicated feelings towards Zephy, who has become a witch and subjugation target.

■ System

Field Exploration



In dungeons, you will find treasure chests and gathering points at which you can obtain items, as well as encounter obstacles and enemies. By using your weapon, you can break objects and attack enemy symbols, and even ride your staff to fly.

—Character-Specific Magic Actions

You can change the character you control at any time, and by using each character’s unique magic action, you can overcome various obstacles on the field.





Zephy: “Barrier Break” – Destroys magical barriers that act as obstacles in exploration.
Minessa: “Witch Loophole” – Escapes the dungeon and returns the party to the Witches Roost.
Karikaro: “Primitive Intuition” – Uncovers hidden treasure chests for a fixed period of time.
Laponetto: “Crossing of Light” – Creates a magical floor over areas you cannot cross.
Charlotta: “Sealed Extinguish” – Extinguishes crystals sealed in ivy to obtain its contents.

Presents

In the “Witches Room,” you can give the presents you obtain in dungeons or purchased at the shop to the witches.



Each witch has things they like and dislike, and your favorability with the witches will increase if you give them the right present. When your favorability reaches a certain level, a special event will occur.



Madness

“Scales of Madness” will always be present in the upper-right corner of the camp menu. This represents Zephy and the entirety of the party’s “Madness.” This is an extremely important element, which will fill up based on the actions and choices you make during the game.





When your Madness exceeds a certain amount, a special “Madness Event” will occur between chapters, and the story will eventually branch into a “Madness Route” full of despair.
