《ToHeart2 迷宫旅人》PS Vita 版将于 4 月 30 日发售

  AQUAPLUS 于 2011 年 6 月发售的 PSP 3D 迷宫 RPG《ToHeart2 迷宫旅人(ToHeart2 ダンジョントラベラーズ)》的 PlayStation Vita 版将于 2015 年 4 月 30 日发售。普通实体版为 4800 日圆(不含税),下载版为 4114 日圆(含税)。包含设定数据集等四大特典的同捆特别豪华版则是 7400 日圆(不含税)。预约特典是软胶吊饰「向坂环 侍 ver.」 。


  《ToHeart2 迷宫旅人》是 AQUAPLUS 人气作品《ToHeart2》系列的女主角们在幻想世界中,以大家熟悉的职业、服装在迷宫中探索,重视深入钻研条件的迷宫 RPG。

  相对于在 PSP 平台上发售的原创版,PS Vita 版的图像将高画质化、全面重制 3D 地图、精致化图标、变更用户接口等,将变得更美,更好操作。

Condemned 3 could happen as an indie game



Message by Jason "Jace" Hall, former CEO and founder of Monolith Productions

Deep thought..and question...

I helped to create a video game console franchise called "Condemned." I currently own the entire franchise.

There have been 2 game titles released for the franchise, "Condemned: Criminal Origins" and "Condemned: Bloodshot" - they both did well, and I am consistently asked when a third game might be created.

Since I am focused on other things, and will be for quite some time, this franchise is just sitting there.

I am contemplating finding an interested and proven Indie development team AND PROVIDING IT TO THEM, so that they can take over the franchise and move it forward.

As an indie, it can be very hard to get marketing/media attention for a title that you work on. This franchise is already quite known, has market demand, and is in an innovative genre/category.

Should I explore this idea further? What say you all?

Noir Horror Game 'White Night' Coming to PS4 on March 3

   


Old school survival horror adventure White Night unveiled for PS4

Starting OSome Studio was a pretty frightening adventure in the beginning. I met Domenico Albani and Mathieu Fremont while employed together at Eden Games, where we worked on the fifth instalment of Alone in the Dark. We all went our separate ways after that project finished, picking up experience at other studios, but there was always the feeling of ‘what if’ in the back of our minds.

After a few more years of exhausting ourselves on ‘blockbuster’ titles, the three of us took a step back and realised we each wanted to do something that would let loose our creativities and replenish our passions. OSome Studio was founded to produce original, refreshing games with powerful and immersive environments.

White Night is the product of that dream. Set in Boston in the 1930s, White Night is an old-school survival horror adventure with a distinct black-and-white film noir look that grabs you immediately. We wanted to create something that people would enjoy, but also something that would stand out as unusual and refreshing in today’s survival horror landscape. That meant revisiting the themes that made classic horror games like the original Alone in the Dark so gripping: mature storytelling, strong characters, compelling environments, and equal respect for tension and terror. White Night is a good old ghost story full of mystery, poetry, alchemy, and suspense.

And true to classic survival horror fashion, it’s set in a deserted mansion.






We worked everywhere — out of our homes, co-working sites, even in bars, partly to save money, but also because we were working as freelancers, and that meant going by a less rigid set of rules. It was a breath of fresh air that helped us get out of that old office development mentality we’d been so used to.

We hunted for inspiration wherever we could find it. We listened to jazz music from the era. We drew from the bold look of black-and-white cinema, not only to define White Night’s art style, but to create a chilling game world in which scarce sources of light are the only ways to reveal your surroundings. We even went so far as to rent a real-life mansion in Normandy, where we stowed away for a week to talk about the game, take pictures of the architecture and, most importantly, steep ourselves in the setting. We wanted to get it all right.

And White Night definitely reflects those efforts. When we reached out to Frederick Raynal, the author of the first Alone in the Dark, to show him a prototype of the game, we were thrilled to find out he was very enthusiastic about the project. I can’t truly describe how great it was to share tips and advice with someone so central to shaping the genre, but it was an extremely enriching conversation, and we came away more motivated than ever.

We showed White Night to press and publishers for the first time at the 2013 Game Connection Europe show in Paris, where it was honored with several awards. The prize included — wait for it — a nifty PS4 development kit, which you can probably gather we put to good use! We sometimes have to pinch ourselves, because seeing our own independent design come to fruition — and seeing people really respond to it — often feels like a dream!

Looking back on how far we’ve come, with only a few weeks left before launch, it’s hard to believe where all the time went. White Night, our little pet project that came to life while sharing a bar table, will finally be available for download on March 3rd. We hope you enjoy your stay at the mansion!

XSEED Games Shares New Trailer for Story of Seasons for Nintendo 3DS Welcoming Players to Oak Tree Town

XSEED Games, the independent-minded console publishing brand of Marvelous USA, today shared a new trailer for Story of Seasons welcoming players to life in Oak Tree Town. Story of Seasons will be released exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS in retail stores and digitally through the Nintendo eShop. GameStop, Amazon.com, EB Games and other participating retailers will be offering special Angora rabbit “pocket plushie” as a pre-order bonus that will be available for pickup together with the game, but only while supplies last. More details regarding the launch timing and pricing will be revealed shortly.

Story of Seasons is the beginning of a new chapter in the ‘Bokujo Monogatari’ series, a long-standing and top-selling farming/life simulation franchise. Though the series is reborn with a new name, it continues the well-loved traditions of customizable farms, animal care, and relationship building in the hopes of getting married and starting a family. After creating a customized character, players can live out a new life by cultivating their favorite fruits and vegetables while expanding and filling their farm with their choice of animals. Fans of past games in the series will love the many new additions on display here, including an enhanced variety of seeds, pets, and other ways to make their farms truly their own. But the major addition is the new theme of ‘connectivity,’ as trading with other countries will help grow the player’s crop variety and wallet, as well as the prosperity of the entire town. Players can also connect locally via WiFi to visit one another’s farms and tend crops as a team, expanding both their harvests and their friendships.

Developed in Japan by Marvelous, Story of Seasons will be published in North America by XSEED Games exclusively for Nintendo 3DS.
