■ Characters
Remi Kishino (voiced by Kaori Fukuhara)
A second-year student at the girls’ prep school Misakimori Academy, and one of the “Four Bullets of Misakimori.”
The top mood maker of the Ranger Club, she easily gets carried away and runs about the battlefield with a ton of energy. Since she often delivers the victory-deciding blow during imitation battles, she is believed to be a contender for the next club president. She greets people on campus with high fives and “Bullet meows!”
Even though she ends up in another world, she still takes things at her own pace. She does not like support because she thinks its boring.
Tsukiyo Takanashi (voiced by Sachika Misawa)
A second-year student at the girls’ prep school Misakimori Academy, and one of the “Four Bullets of Misakimori.”
She specializes in support that utilizes quick movements, comparable to an attacker that fights on the front lines. She is the team’s greatest supporter. While she usually thinks she is better than others, it is said that her lonely personality is expressed through the fondling that she loves, or otherwise creeping up behind other club members to touch them.
As for weapons, she loves anti-material rifles and specializes in long-distance sniping.
Saki Amamine (voiced by Aya Suzaki)
A second-year student at the girls’ prep school Misakimori Academy, and one of the “Four Bullets of Misakimori.”
She loves anime, calling herself “an anime protagonist that has appeared in the real world,” and has declared, “anime voice is an intangible cultural heritage.” She is somewhat out of touch with reality. She is not good at running about the battlefield, and tends to skip out on club activities depending on the mission, but there is also a side to her with a strong conviction that pushes forward with all of her power toward her determined goal.
Just like an anime, she has an obsession with sweets, and even brings them onto the battlefield as rations.
Minagi Kamishiro (voiced by Emi Uema)
A second-year student at the girls’ prep school Misakimori Academy, and one of the “Four Bullets of Misakimori.”
She is a tactical officer characterized by a cool and collected demeanor, cold appearance, and samurai-esque manner of speaking. She assembled the “Four Bullets of Misakimori,” which consists of the Ranger Club’s four second-year students. While she specializes in guns, she has been extremely proficient with a sword since she was young, and as the successor of the “Souten Style” school of her ancestor Miyamoto Musashi, she has always owned an imitation sword.
As a tactician who specializes in setting strategies that utilize the expertise of other club members, she is also skilled in the use of weapons.
Aki Saotome (voiced by Asami Tano)
A third-year student at the girls’ prep school Misakimori Academy.
A boyish girl with tons of female fans on campus, she is the Ranger Club’s vice president who sustains the club on behalf of the president, who tends to be absent from her duties. A legendary member of the Ranger Club, she is a hardcore military maniac, as she grew up listening to the war stories of her grandmother, who was club adviser to a previous generation.
She has known club president Mai since middle school, and both girls rely on each other.
Mai Doiuchi (voiced by Yuiko Tatsumi)
A third-year student at the girls’ prep school Misakimori Academy.
The daughter of a distinguished family, her appearance has cheat-class specifications when considering the framework of a student. And it is not only her appearance, her abilities are also super academy level. As a “Battle Princess” that has mastered the use of all weapons, her abilities are known both inside and outside of the school.
She works as a stand-in for the club adviser, and is often absent from the club on official duties, but works in the shadows and every day takes action while thinking over how to improve her own skills, as well as the techniques of the club as a whole.
Farren Sierwinde (voiced by Rika Tachibana)
An elf, or harbinger of fear, said to have fallen to demonic beings, she is a tribal warrior hated in the Kingdom. The Ranger Club safeguards all sides of the place she was imprisoned by soldiers. While she has no ill intentions, whether it is from her tribal upbringing, you can get a grasp of her awkwardness when it comes to socializing with others.
Knowing that the older sister she has loved since childhood is on the wanted list, she accompanies Aya and the others to find her.
Merrina Iris (voiced by Nozomi Yamamoto)
A girl of the Cait Sith beast-person tribe who you encounter in a ruined village. She is short and has cat ears, and is characterized by her highly inquisitive behavior.
She was originally living an optimistic life and never really thought about things too deeply, but when a horde of monster orcs accompanied by visitors from another world came along, she became eager to protect the village.
There is also a cheeky side to her that loves gold.
■ System
Throw Down and Befriend the Girls of the Other World
The Misakimori Ranger Club will not only fight against monsters, they will also fight against the girls of the other world. Silvia and the girls of the other world seem to consider the Ranger Club, with their modern weapons, as similar to monsters in that their existence is a threat to tranquillity.
By winning through fierce battles, and through deep communication via the Ranger Club’s traditional Interrogation Training, you can solve these misunderstandings and become allies. After Merrina receives her first Interrogation Training and becomes an ally, she will head up the store, which was originally short on staff.
Two Times the Intensity: “Double Interrogation”
Even within the Ranger Club’s traditional Interrogation Training, advanced techniques are desired. Since you are working two girls at the same time during “Double Interrogation Training,” you will need to skillfully allocate the limited time you have, but when the training succeeds, it will be more create more heat than a single character interrogation.
Also, you can view a Double Interrogation Training at any angle you like with 360-degree view. You can freely view the two girls laying atop each other, getting worked hard, and saying embarrassing things.
You are also free to pick which two characters participate. You can even make it a global Interrogation that crosses worlds by mixing together a member of the Ranger Club and a girl from the other world.
Interrogation Gallery
“360-degree angle view” and “Kukkoro Mode” are not the only enhancements to Interrogation Training.
Bullet Girls Phantasia has a gallery setting in which you can set up to three observers. The members set in the gallery will surround the character undergoing the training and carefully observe them. Of course, simply watching is not becoming of a member of the Ranger Club of the country’s top Misakimori Academy. They will condemn and encourage the girl being Interrogated while actively engaging in the training.
Bullet Girls Phantasia is due out for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita on August 9 in Japan. An English release is also planned in Southeast Asia. |
