Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz launches December 13 in Japan



Daedalus: The Awakening of Golden Jazz will launch for PlayStation 4, Switch, and PC on December 13 in Japan for 6,990 yen at retail and 5,547 yen via download, publisher Arc System Works announced. Early purchases of the game will include a physical drink coaster as a bonus.

■ Story

It happened a month ago. Someone killed beloved grandfather Kyosuke Jinguji, who was living in New York.

Jake Hunter (Saburo Jinguji) arrives in New York to collect Kyosuke’s belongings and arrange his memories.

Jake’s reunion with the nostalgic cityscape and his old friends only lasted for a brief moment. He learns that Kyosuke was reading up on the word “Daedalus” until the moment of his death.

What is Daedalus? Why was Kyosuke killed?

“Saburo, grow the Mind Tree.”

Kyosuke’s words remained in Jake’s distant memories, his way of thinking…

For his dead grandfather, and for himself, a young Jake who has yet to make a name for himself will challenge this sorrowful case carved into New York!

The grandson of Kyoskuke Jinguji, who was running a detective agency in New York. After the death of Kyosuke, he travels to the United States to discover the trh behind this grandfather’s death.

A Japanese student who takes a cold attitude towards Jake. She is studying abroad in New York and often borrows books from Dan’s room.





Abby (voiced by Aika Kobayashi)



Jake Hunter’s childhood friend. She is studying economics at a college. She is like an older sister to Jake, but secretly has feelings for him.

Chou Tousouchuu & Chou Sentouchuu Double Pack launches November 29 in Japan

   

Chou Tousouchuu & Chou Sentouchuu Double Pack will launch for Switch on November 29 in Japan for 5,300 yen, publisher Bandai Namco announced.

Chou Tousouchuu & Chou Sentouchuu Double Pack bundles together remastered versions of the 3DS popular variety program games Chou Tousouchuu Atsumare! Saikyou no Tousousha-tachi (Run for Money) and Chou Sentouchuu: Kyuukyoku no Shinobu to Battle Player Choujou Kessen! (Battle for Money). The remasters feature better looking maps, characters, movies, and more, as well as up to four-player split-screen multiplayer with one Joy-Con per player. It also supports four-player wireless local play.

Dokuro coming to Switch on September 27



Dokuro is coming to Switch via the Nintendo eShop on September 27, a listing on the Australia Nintendo eShop reveals.

The game will support TV mode, tabletop mode, and handheld mode, as well as Japanese, English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Korean, and Chinese language options. It will also support the Switch Pro Controller and save data cloud.

Dokuro is currently available for PS Vita, PC, iOS, and Android. While these versions were published by GungHo Online Entertainment, SE Mobile and Online will publish the Switch version.

　　根据 IGN 报导，任天堂官方正式确认，日前上线的 Nintendo Switch 付费网络服务「Nintendo Switch Online」所提供的云端存盘备份功能，在用户会籍到期后，数据仍将保留 180 天。

　　Nintendo Switch 付费网络服务「Nintendo Switch Online」于 9 月 19 日正式上线，是任天堂首度推出的付费制网络服务。 除了游戏的联机游玩外，还提供怀旧红白机游戏畅玩、游戏存盘云端备份等功能。 不过云端存盘备份功能连本家都有多款游戏不支持，加上官方在常见问答中宣称云端存盘备份数据在用户会籍到期后将不予保留，且未明确公布是否有缓冲期，招致许多批评。

　　如今任天堂官方发言人在针对 IGN 提问所给出的答复中，正式确认 Nintendo Switch Online 的云端存盘备份数据在用户会籍到期后虽然会无法存取，但数据本身仍将保留 180 天。 用户只要在会籍到期后 180 天内付费续订 Nintendo Switch Online 服务，就能重新存取这些数据。

　　此外，官方发言人并解释了对《漆弹大作战 2》、《精灵宝可梦 Let's Go！ 皮卡丘 / 伊布》等游戏不支持云端存盘备份的原因，表示其实绝大多数的游戏都支持云端存盘备份，但部分游戏可能会因为云端存盘备份功能而导致玩家能取回已经被交易出去的道具，或是回溯已经失去的在线多人游玩高分战绩等。 为了确保公平的游戏环境，所以这类游戏可能无法支持云端存盘备份功能。

Fitness Boxing first details, screenshots

Imagineer has released the first official information and screenshots of its boxing exercise game Fitness Boxing, which is due out for Switch worldwide in December.

Fitness Boxing is an exercise game and successor the the smash hit Wii series Shape Boxing, which has sold over 800,000 copies worldwide. Fit Boxing Japan has developed an authentic boxing program with the purpose of making boxing training both safe and effective, which has been arranged for Nintendo Switch players to experience easily at home. Hold the Joy-Con controllers in your hands and move your body along with the in-game instructor to enjoy a refreshing workout with the feeling of playing a game.

■ Authentic Exercises with an Instructor

Grab the Joy-Cons and turn any place into a gym. By shadow-boxing to the lead of the instructor, anyone can easily enjoy an authentic workout. Imagineer has released the first official information and screenshots of its newly announced pet raising and simulation game Little Friends: Dogs & Cats, which is due out for Switch on December 6 in Japan.

Little Friends: Dogs & Cats is a game in which you can spend each day with dogs and cats with lifelike expressions and behavior. Dog and cat raising simulation games are a popular genre, but this title implements new forms of communication by making full use of the features and faculties of Nintendo Switch. In addition to detailed visuals including modeling, animation, and fur, you can enjoy the feeling of true interaction with dogs and cats through HD Rumble.
