Premium Musical Notes “Piano Collections – Final Fantasy XV: Moonlit Melodies” application for PS4 now available in Japan

Square Enix has released a music appreciation application of its Piano Collections – Final Fantasy XV: Moonlit Melodies concert for PlayStation 4 via the PlayStation Store in Japan.

The Premium Musical Notes “Piano Collections – Final Fantasy XV: Moonlit Melodies” application will be available to download until January 31, 2018 in Japan, and the music can be enjoyed until March 1. PlayStation Plus subscribers will have access to all functionality within the application, including total playback, while non-PlayStation Plus subscribers will only have access to some functionality. PlayStation Plus subscribers will also receive a custom PlayStation 4 theme upon logging into the application.

Final Fantasy XV DLC ‘Episode Ignis’ has a post-clear route unlock, Noctis battle

Square Enix has shared new information on the upcoming Final Fantasy XV downloadable content “Episode Ignis.”

Here are the tidbits:

Play time is between one and two hours if you only follow the story.
After you clear the story, a different route unlocks. It follows the flow of the original story, and changes to the different route when Ignis makes a certain decision. This route is mainly a boss battle, and is considerably difficult. The ending of this route was created with the thought that they wanted it to be seen by users who were moved by the ending of the main story.
The story is the densest among the Final Fantasy XV add-ons.
After you clear the story, a battle against Noctis will become available.

“Episode Ignis” is due out on December 13.

   

   

Final Fantasy XV December update to add character swapping

A December-due update for Final Fantasy XV will add the ability to freely swap between Noctis, Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis in the main story, Square Enix announced.

   

Final Fantasy XV Multiplayer Expansion: Comrades version 1.1.0 update launches December 12

The version 1.1.0 update for the Final Fantasy XV multiplayer expansion, “Comrades,” will launch on December 12 and include a variety of improvements, Square Enix announced.

Here’s a summary of the patch:

Final Fantasy XV: Three ‘Episode’ DLCs planned for 2018, including ‘Episode Ardyn’

Square Enix detailed the future content roadmap for Final Fantasy XV during its Active Time Report broadcast commemorating a year since the game’s release today.

Here is what players can expect:

Details about the future content Square Enix plans to offer will be decided by the end of 2017. From there, they will officially announce what content will be released at what timing, and in what form it will be offered.

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata said that he wants to release at least three “Episode” add-ons in 2018, starting with an episode for Ardyn. Many users pointed out that the way they depicted the backbone of the world was insufficient, but Arydn’s episode will lead to a proper depiction of the world’s story.

Tabata is aware that fans want to see an episode for Luna.

For future additional content, Tabata wants to release them when they are in a state of absolute sufficiency. In 2018, the importance is not on releasing the content, but rather the plan has changed to releasing the content in a state where each one is properly sufficient.

Not only does Tabata want to meet the expectations of the users, he wants to betray your expectations and create developments that will even get those who have cleared the game and lost interest re-interested.

　　近日《Final Fantasy XV》官方公布了新 DLC “伊格尼斯之章”的技能演示影片。在这段影片中，我们可以看到伊格尼斯可谓是将“擅长烹饪”的特点完全发挥了出来，甚至在炮火纷飞的战场上，他还能从容不迫地做出一顿美味大餐，实在是潇洒。

Final Fantasy XV version 1.20 update now available, adds character swapping
《Final Fantasy XV》补丁竟达18GB 加入角色切换功能

　　《Final Fantasy XV》1.19和1.20版本更新现已推出，加入了11月下旬公布的角色切换功能，值得注意的是，本次补丁的PS4版本容量达13.289G，而Xbox One版本容量更是达到18.34GB。

　　在此次的补丁更新中，加入了角色交换功能，不过在战斗结束后，角色会自动切回诺提克斯。在增加“伊格尼斯之章”相关内容的同时也添加了更多音乐曲目，修复了游戏中的一些Bug。

　　《Final Fantasy XV》已登陆PS4和Xbox One平台，将于2018年初登陆PC平台，敬请期待。

The Final Fantasy XV Universe Expands With the Release of the Royal Edition and Windows Edition on March 6

Square Enix opens up new ways for fans to journey through the massive world of Final Fantasy XV with Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, and Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition, coming to Steam, Origin and Windows 10. The special editions feature the base game and over 20 game add-ons / DLC (downloadable content), as well as new features including an expanded map of Insomnia with new enemies and side quests and a first-person camera mode.


Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition and Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will feature:

• Expanded Map: Insomnia City Ruins – all-new side quests and enemies such as Cerberus and Omega will be available through the expanded map of the Crown City of Insomnia. Players will also take on the Rulers of Yore.

• A fully-controllable Royal Vessel boat, expanding the world of Eos and allowing players to explore the area between Cape Caem and Altissia. Players will also be able to fish aboard the vessel and discover new fishes and dishes.

• A new accessory that can activate the new action “Armiger Unleashed” - players will be able to unleash powerful attacks while the Armiger is summoned. After collecting all of the royal arms, players will be able to find an accessory in an unidentified part of the world, enabling access to Armiger Unleashed.

• A new first-person camera mode, allowing players to experience the game from Noctis’ perspective.

• More than a dozen pieces of downloadable content including weapons, Regalia car skins and item sets

• All season pass content including Episode Gladiolus GLADIOLUS, Episode Prompto, Multiplayer Expansion: COomrades and Episode Iginis

• Archive – players can review the “Cosmogony” stories scattered throughout the Final Fantasy XV world. Additional local myths and legends will also be placed in various new locations, allowing players to obtain more information about the world.

Square Enix will release a free update for Final Fantasy XV on January 21 that implements Aranea as a training partner and a standby option at camp, as well as a few other changes, the company announced.

Here is the full list of changes:

• Conclusion of the Assassin’s Festival.
• Inclusion of a new training partner (Aranea Highwind) at camp.
• Implementation of a standby option at camp.
• Addition of new items at Alessio’s trading post in Altissia.
• Introduction of new drills to the tutorial.
• Various bug fixes.
  

(Updated saves will not work on former versions of the game.)
