Final Fantasy XV July update to add Magitek Exosuits

　　原本计划将于 2 月更新至《Final Fantasy XV》中的特摄战队风格“魔导无敌服”在因版权问题宣布延期之后长期没有音信，如今 Square Enix 通过游戏的官方 Twitter 宣布，它将于 7 月通过免费更新的形式配信给所有玩家。

　　如果在延期之后设定没有改变，它可以让玩家完全无敌30分钟，随后需要24小时来充电。具体的配信日期与新消息还有待官方的公布。



The “Magitek Exosuits” for Final Fantasy XV previously scheduled to launch in February, but delayed due to the suits’ similarity to those in Power Rangers, will launch in July via a free update, Square Enix announced.

Equipping the suit makes you invincible for 30 minutes, as well as boosts your fishing skills. After use, it cannot be used again for 24 hours.

Final Fantasy XV is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

　　《Final Fantasy XV 联机扩充包：战友》是支持多人联机游玩的追加下载内容，玩家将能使用各种配件来打造自己的虚拟分身，挑战最多 4 人联机同乐的多人游玩任务或是单人专用任务。 后续并预定透过更新开放玩家使用 4 名主角诺克提斯、格拉迪欧蓝斯、伊格尼斯与普罗恩普特。

　　官方同时宣布将于 8 月 3～8 日展开全球同步封测，参加条件为曾购买《Final Fantasy XV》季票或数字豪华版（内含季票），且具备 PlayStation Plus 或 Xbox LIVE 金会员会籍的玩家。 符合条件的玩家，8 月 2 日起在 PlayStation Store 或 Xbox LIVE 卖场下载测试用数据即可参加。



Square Enix has announced that it will host a worldwide, closed online test for its upcoming Final Fantasy XV multiplayer expansion, “Comrades,” from August 3 to 8.

Users who have purchased the Final Fantasy XV Season Pass or Digital Premium Edition will be able to participate in the closed online test. A download will be made available on the PlayStation Store and Xbox Store on August 2.

Here’s an overview of the closed online test:

Playable Characters

Closed Online Test
Create, control, and save up to eight avatars.

Full Release
Develop avatars using experience gained from defeating enemies and completing quests. Updates will allow you to also play as Noctis, Gladiolus, Prompto, and Ignis.

Customize avatars with elements limited to the test version.

Full Release
Unlock customization elements with item purchases at outposts and quest rewards. Updates will add even more elements.

Base

Closed Online Test
Begin at test version base camp and play through a custom tutorial.

Weapons

Closed Online Test
Choose from katana, club, dagger, and shuriken weapons. Attack patterns vary from those of Noctis.

Full Release
Enjoy an expanded arsenal featuring polearm, crossbow, and shield weapons as well, which also feature different attack patterns. Weapons come with preset abilities and experience points, and can be leveled up by meeting certain conditions. (Please await further information.)

Royal Sigils

Closed Online Test
Invoke the powers of sovereigns for your avatar with this new feature. Equip one of four default royal sigils in the test version.

Full Release
Collect and equip royal sigils as you progress. The wide array of enhancements provided by the royal sigils will play a key role in cooperative multiplayer combat. (Please await further information.)

Quests

Closed Online Test
Choose from one of three quests, with up to three legs to each quest. All players will be matched online in the test version. You cannot take on quests on your own.

Full Release
Explore quests with storylines as well as single-player quests. Join up to three other players online with a subscription to PlayStation Plus or an Xbox Live Gold membership, or fight alongside three AI companions.

Meals

Closed Online Test
Retrieve one ingredient per person per quest, and have the camp cook prepare a meal afterward.

Full Release
Encounter more cooks and enjoy a wider range of meal-based boosts.

Meteorshards

Closed Online Test
Receive meteorshards as quest rewards. Meteorshards cannot be used in the test version.       

Full Release
Gather meteorshards during quests to expand the scope of available activities or to unlock new quests. (Please await further information.)

Other Systems

Final Fantasy XV's Regalia Coming to Forza Horizon 3 Beginning August 1

   

Forza Horizon 3 - Introducing the Regalia

Forza fans are used to a massive variety of cars in Forza Horizon 3; from dune buggies to sport trucks to hypercars, and more. Starting next week, players will be able to drive a car unlike anything else in the game with the upcoming addition of the Regalia from Final Fantasy XV to the Forza Horizon 3 lineup.

Beginning on August 1, Forza Horizon 3 and Final Fantasy XV players will be able to download and enjoy the Regalia in Forza Horizon 3 for free. The Regalia will be made available to everyone who has played Forza Horizon 3 (on Xbox One, Xbox One S, or Windows 10 PCs) and/or Final Fantasy XV (on Xbox One or Xbox One S) by August 1, 2017. For Forza Horizon 3 players, the Regalia will be sent to all players and will be redeemable through the in-game messaging system. Final Fantasy XV players will receive a code to redeem the Regalia in Forza Horizon 3 via the Xbox Live messaging system.







The transportation method of choice for Final Fantasy XV’s royal main character Prince Noctis Lucis Caelum and his friends Ignis, Gladiolus, and Prompto, the Regalia is unofficially the fifth member of Noctis’ party. Embarking on an epic road trip, Noctis and his buddies pilot the Regalia across the land of Eos, encountering endless adventure and intrigue along the way.

With its massive heft, intricate body details, and luxurious interior, the Regalia is a unique addition to the world of Forza Horizon 3. The team at Square Enix found inspiration for the Regalia’s design from real-world models like the Cadillac Ciel concept car and the Maybach Exelero. In Forza Horizon 3, the car’s size (nearly 21 feet long and seven feet wide) makes it a cruiser’s delight. Take it for a slow-burn drive through downtown Surfers Paradise, or hit the Aussie freeway in the Outback and push that 7.2-liter supercharged V12 (offering up 536 hp) to its limit. The Regalia gives Forza Horizon 3 players the chance to experience true automotive royalty. Where you take it is up to you!

Final Fantasy XV version 1.13 update now available

　　Square Enix 发售中的 PS4 和 XboxOne平台游戏《Final Fantasy XV》宣布推送 Ver.1.13更新补丁，本次更新追加了包括此前预告的无敌装备在内的大量新要素，以下为本次更新详情：

·第八章后梅尔达希欧协会追加新任务
·追加与同伴的新连携系统“突击连携（ラッシュリンク）”
·追加无敌套装“魔导Invincible”
·再次召开期间限定的“莫古陆行狂欢节”
·修正一系列错误

　　“莫古陆行狂欢节(モグチョコカーニバル)”是曾经在今年1 月~2 月期间举办的限定活动，期间玩家只需要下载免费DLC“假日包”就可以体验限定小游戏、游戏快照大赛、水上陆行鸟赛等活动。此外，通过购买“假日包+”还可以活动照片边框、DLC服装等限定特典。

　　无敌套装“魔导Invincible”则是预定于2月配信的可以在30分间无敌的强力道具，值得一提的是由于此前公开的服装设计被指出太像美国版特摄英雄《超凡战队》，而为了变更设计与建模而延期至本次终于登场。

The version 1.13 update for Final Fantasy XV, which adds the “Magitek Armor” invincibility suits, is now available.

Here are the patch notes:

New quest(s) have been added to Meldacio Hunter HQ (after Chapter 8).
A new ally cooperation system called “Rush Link” has been added.
The “Magitek Armor” invincibility suits have been added.
The limited time content “Moogle Chocobo Carnival” has been reopened.
Various bugs have been fixed.
Save data from this version cannot be used with save data from an old version.
If you overwrite save data from the old version with save data of this version, it can no longer be used in the old version.
It also adds two new trophies / achievements.

Final Fantasy XV is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Final Fantasy XV Arrives on PC in Early 2018

Square Enix today announced that Final Fantasy XV will launch on Windows PC in early 2018. Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition comes loaded with Nvidia GameWorks technology and other advanced PC features adding cutting-edge graphics and physics simulation technologies with support for Nvidia’s capture and share tools.

“With the help of Nvidia, we are creating a stunning visual experience in Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition, one worthy of this beloved franchise,” said Hajime Tabata, Director of Final Fantasy XV. “Nvidia pushes the pace of innovation in our industry, and that benefits gamers and developers alike.”







Final Fantasy XV Windows Edition will include the following GameWorks technology for real-time graphics and physics simulations:

• Nvidia Flow – Creates vivid, combustible fluid, fire and smoke.

• Nvidia HairWorks – Creates dynamic, life-like hair and fur for characters, animals and monsters that inhabit the game.

• Nvidia ShadowWorks – Enables characters to cast shadows on themselves.

• Nvidia Turf Effects – Creates life-like grass and vegetation in the game environment.

Square Enix has announced Final Fantasy XV: Pocket Edition, a new game for iOS, Android, and Windows 10 devices that retells teh story of Final Fantasy XV. It will launch later in 2017.

The mobile game features the main characters and story of the console version of Final Fantasy XV, and uses a different art style and casual touch controls optimized for mobile devices. The main story is told through 10 episodes, which will all be available at launch. The first episode will be available for free.
