Compile Heart has released the debut trailer for Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation HD, its upcoming visual novel collection for PlayStation 4.

The collection includes Date A Live: Rinne Utopia, Date A Live: Ars Install, and Date Alive Twin Edition: Rio Reincarnation. It also includes the drama CDs (featuring 17 songs) and special books (with thumbnail mode page skip and zoom features) originally included as bonuses for each game, which are accessible in-game.

Date A Live: Rio Reincarnation HD will launch for PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 12.

Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers details Gunner and Witch styles, battle basics

Compile Heart has updated the official website for Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers with new information and screenshots on the game’s Gunner and Witch fighting styles, and the basics of battle.

■ Styles

The heroines of Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers can change their battle “style” based on the underwear they’re wearing, such as to specialize in close-range fighting or to excel in magic. In addition to styles set beforehand, you can also change styles during battle by changing underwear.

Gunner Style



A rear guard style that focuses on long-distance physical attacks. It can attack from long distances with a gun, as well as fight away from the action through monster girl summons. It can summon high ranking monster girls. It covers both the Venus and Knight styles, which fight as vanguards, from the rear with gun-based attacks and monster girl summons.

Witch Style



A rear guard style that focuses on long-distance magical attacks. It can summon every rank of monster girl. Rather than deal damage to the enemy’s HP, its standard attacks restore MP, and it attacks and provides support through monster girl summons. Since this is the style with the highest magical attack power of the four styles, it is particularly effective against enemies where physical attacks are less effective.

■ Battle Basics

Action Points (AP)



Heroines abide by the turn order and take action when their turn arrives.

At the start of the turn, the Action Points (AP) gauge will charge. Heroines consume AP through actions such as movements and attacks. Every action uses a set amount of AP, and you may take any number of actions until you run out.

You can end your turn at any time. The more AP you have at the end of your turn, the lesser the wait until your next turn.

The amount of AP consumed for each style’s standard attack differs. Since the Venus Style’s single blow is weak, it consumes a low amount of AP, allowing you to attack multiple times. The Knight Style’s standard attack, on the other hand, consumes a lot of AP, but a single blow is strong.

Commands



By consuming AP, you can use the “Item,” “Summon,” and “Cannon Shot” commands.

—Item

Use items such as those for recovery on yourself and your party.

—Summon

Summon a monster girl you have befriended to attack, heal, etc. This consumes Muramura Points (MP, “muramura” means to be aroused). Each monster girl has a set summon rank, and depending on the style in use, the rank you can summon differs. The Witch Style can summon all ranks of monster girls, but the Knight Style cannot summon any, for example.



—Cannon Shot

Fires a cannon shot from the castle. When your MP reaches its max, you can use a Cannon Shot by consuming it all. Since it is basically a special move, it has tremendous power and is particularly effective at destroying large obstacles such as castle gates. When a Canon Shot ends, the protagonist shifts to “sage time” and you cannot use another Canon Shot for a fixed number of turns.

Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers is due out for PlayStation 4 in Japan on September 28.

Compile Heart has launched the official website for Death end re;Quest, providing the first official information and screenshots of the upcoming PlayStation 4 RPG.

■ Story

World



“World’s Odyssey” is a virtual reality MMORPG and complete projection of consciousness developed as a traditional fantasy of dreams and adventure. It was a large-scale RPG that the game company Enigma poured all of its energy into, but cancelled development on after the disappearance of game director Shina Ninomiya.

Several years later, “World’s Odyssey,” which was supposed to have been deleted from the network, is restored in a state eroded with every possible “bug.” These bugs, which take on the form of actual insects, are infesting humans, objects, monsters, and every possible material, and collapsing the game world. Bugs have produced a number of mysterious phenomena, transforming the world into one filled with various mysteries and madness such as “bugs with their own will,” “NPCs with human hearts,” and “characters who cannot exist.”

Story



An e-mail arrived for game programmer Arata Mizunashi. The sender: Shina Ninomiya, a game director who went missing a year prior. She, together with Arata, once developed “World’s Odyssey,” a game that fully implemented virtual reality, but after she disappeared, development on the game was cancelled.

The cryptic e-mail indicated that Shina Ninomiya disappeared in World’s Odyssey, a game that does not exist. Arata tries to analyze the program, which should have been deleted from the network, but was restored. The program has been rewritten to the point that it has no trace of its original form, and in a world full of bugs, Shina was there as the only “player.”

Arata tries to get in touch with Shina and learns that she cannot logout from this game.

And so the two look for clues, and alongside NPCs that possess human hearts and their colleagues in reality, proceed with clearing the game from both the “inside” and “outside.”

However, a dreadful situation also involving reality awaits.

Virtual Reality MMORPG “World’s Odyssey” – An adventure-themed traditional fantasy massively multiplayer online role-playing game set in a virtual reality world. It is developed using the game engine “Alice Code,” which enables a perfect projection of consciousness.

An NPC in the world of “World’s Odyssey” and the princess of the large country “Heartis.” As an NPC, she has emotions and consciousness that should not be possible. After seeing Shina’s power to fight bugs, she desperately requests that she save her father, the king of Heartis.

A half-elf NPC with emotions and consciousness that should not be possible. Although the popular opinion is that elves are intelligent, that is not the case for Lucil. She is a slightly mysterious girl, a bit dopey, who always has her head in the clouds.

Ripuka

Designed and illustrated by: Huke



A woman who wields a big, guillotine-like sword, and a mysterious being who suddenly appeared in “World’s Odyssey.” All of her actions are motivated by “murderous intent.”

Death end re;Quest is currently in development for PlayStation 4. A release date has yet to be announced. It is currently only confirmed for release in Japan.

Tokyo Clanpool details latest characters, dungeon exploration

Compile Heart has updated the official Japanese website for Tokyo Clanpool, its upcoming dungeon RPG for PS Vita, with information on six new characters and dungeon exploration.

■ Characters

Hasumi Rensou (voiced by Mayu Yoshioka)



The Minister of Internal Affairs and Communications, and a navigator who supports Natsume and company from their base through communications. Her role is also to report the real time cabinet approval rating to Natsume and company. She speaks smoothly and clearly, but is absentminded.

Yomi Doujima (voiced by Shiori Izawa)



The Minister of Justice, who is vital to the tactical planning concerning the capture of the Dark World Diet Tower. While she is clever, she is also negative and twisted, and spews venom whenever she speaks. She is an insomniac who is most at peace reading a book in her room.

Akira Tojo (voiced by Riko Sasaki)



The Minister of Finance, who controls everything related to the budget. She is freewheeling and greedy when it comes to money, but has an atmosphere that you, for some reason, cannot dislike her. Her favorite phrase is to laugh, “nehehe.”

Iroha Hanasaki (voiced by You Taichi)



The Minister of Health, Labour, and Welfare, and a mad scientist who is an expert in biology. She loves young girls and wants to touch Natsume and the others one way or another. She has an extraordinary interest in monster ecology, as learning about unknown ecology gives her thrills.

Mona Monami (voiced by Sawako Hata)



The Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology, who concurrently works as the Director General of the Science and Technology Agency. A genius scientist, she is always cool and does not say much outside of what needs to be said. She is an expert in every sort of weapon, and developed the Digi-Skins and Gadgeteers.

Yoshitoki Saionji (voiced by Kanehira Yamamoto)



The former Chief Cabinet Secretary of the Japanese government, and Chiyo’s uncle. As an adviser to the present cabinet, he supports and guides Natsume and company.

■ Dungeon Exploration

Dungeons



The Dark World Diet Tower is a dungeon where each floor consists of a maximum 32×32 spaces. Natsume and company will take on the tower with the goal of reaching the top. Various mechanisms and traps await players inside.

Also, while you’re exploring the dungeon, you can get a situation report from Hasumi at any time.



Approval Rating Inquiry



Your exploration of the dungeon will be broadcast to the people of your nation, and your cabinet’s approval rating will change in real time.

The approval rating rises as you do things like discover treasure chests and win battles, and falls in situations such as getting caught in traps or dying in battle.

When the approval rating goes beyond a certain value, “Approval Rating Fever” will be triggered, which provides benefits in exploration and battle. Various bonuses will be bestowed upon you.

However, if your approval rating happens to drop to zero, it will become a “Mass Resignation of the Cabinet,” and you may even be forced to return from the dungeon.

Computer Apps

In Tokyo Clanpool, you can install tools called a “Computer Apps” that are useful for exploration. Among them are the super useful “Tunnel Excavation” and “Levitation” features.

An app that can dig tunnels in the dungeon walls to create a path forward. By doing this, you can create your own shortcuts to advance while avoiding traps and powerful enemies. There are rare treasure chests and mechanism switches hidden in the tunnels, and there may even be powerful monsters and new traps. In other words, tunnels are not just a simple passageway, they are new places to explore.



One of the other significant features of Tunnel Excavation is that you can dig into floors with cracks to create a hole to a lower floor. You can find hidden passageways, secret treasure rooms, and more.

—Levitation



As its name implies, this is an app that lets you float in the air. With this app, you can float over to the other side of a cliff when you reach a dead end, or over poisonous swamps and pincushions. One of the other significant features of Levitation is that you can move at extraordinarily high speeds.

　　本作是由《尸骸派对（コープスパーティー）》之父－－祁答院慎负责撰写剧本，品牌「封闭化（ガラパゴス） RPG」的第四款游戏。 从「游戏」与「现实」两种视点攻略充满 BUG 的游戏世界，是一款悬疑恐怖 RPG 游戏。

【世界观】

以「虫」的形式具现化的【Bug】寄生于人、物、怪物，等各种物质上，使游戏世界逐步陷入崩坏。

【故事】

游戏程序设计师 ‧ 水梨 新收到了一封邮件。
寄件人为在一年前下落不明的游戏总监 ‧ 二之宫 椎菜。
她与新曾经着手进行实现了完全虚拟现实的游戏 “奥德赛世界” 开发工作，但却因为她的失踪，而使得计划遭到冻结。

这封不可思议的邮件，指出了二之宫 椎菜身处不存在的游戏 “奥德赛世界” 里。
新马上尝试分析，理应于网络上删除的这个程序遭到复原的理由。
从中得知程序遭人刻意覆写而完全变了个样，椎菜则是以一位 “玩家” 的身分存在于充斥着 Bug 的游戏世界。

新试图与椎菜接触，却得知了无法从这个游戏内注销的事实。 因此两人为了解开谜团，与拥有心灵的 NPC 们及存在于现实世界的同事们，一同于游戏的 “内部” 与 “外部” 展开攻略......。

但是在前方等待着他们的却是把现实也卷入其中的可怕发展。

《死亡终结请求》被BUG寄生侵蚀的小姐姐们

　　Compileheart推出的PS4平台全新RPG作品《死亡终结请求(Death end re;Quest)》公开新情报，由《尸体派对》的祁答院慎所负责的剧本，将有着猎奇展开与多个BAD END，令玩家体验到惊悚心跳的感觉。



剧情

　　主人公水梨新从一年前就去向不明的二之宫诗奈那里收到一封邮件，以此为契机，得知诗奈原来被困在了原本已经开发中止的VRMMORPG《奥德赛世界》之中无法登出，为了救她展开行动。

战斗系统

　　在被BUG侵蚀的战斗场地，角色在通过BUG上时，会被BUG所污染而受到伤害，可以通过将敌人打飞的“除错系统”，吹飞的敌人撞在BUG上，可以令BUG整个净化。但是接触BUG后角色的污染度会上升，最后会变得更容易战斗不能，但相对可以发动“报错形态”战斗力大幅提升。

角色

　　克蕾娅·哥雷布：在《奥德赛世界》中做行商人的NPC，拥有心灵，成为了诗奈等人的伙伴，与克蕾娅为敌的话会很棘手，但是一旦处于可以给其制造利益的立场的话，会变成非常可靠的存在。

　　除了克蕾娅以外，在这个世界中还有很多NPC居住，NPC原本是不拥有心的讯在，但却有了心灵，帮助诗奈。



　　赛莉卡·克雷顿：有着优秀才能的冒险者NPC，据说是距冒险者目标“奥迪欧赛亚”最近的人而远赴盛名，领袖般的存在，拥有心灵，即便BUG化的现在也仍然要向奥迪欧赛亚前进，在路上与诗奈相遇成为其伙伴。

　　亚露·阿斯特拉：开朗元气刚踏上旅途的冒险者NPC，有着丰富的感情与意识，快要被饿死的时候被诗奈所救，成为伙伴。

　　诗奈与成为伙伴的角色们，都寄生着被称为“恩托马”的“虫”，恩托马会侵蚀寄主的精神与身体，直到把其存在整个吞噬可怕的存在，本来是敌人，但像是诗奈这样有着强耐性的人，可以反而支配恩托马并利用其，诗奈们将妖精一般形式出现的恩托马称为“巴格”，如何支配恩托马的她们本人也不知道。

　　恩托马除了角色以外，还寄生于奥德赛世界的其他怪物中，被寄生后怪物会凶暴化成为“牺牲者”，牺牲者与伙伴角色一样，都设定有污染值，当给予伤害，使敌人污染值超过一定量时，敌人自身性能会出现BUG，从而拥有压倒性力量，在与其战斗时，除了HP与行动外，还需要注意污染值。

　　Compile Heart日前发布了《塔京》首部预告片。这款地下城RPG游戏以近未来的东京上空突然出现迷之倒逆都市群为开始，从都市群中延伸出的塔与国会议事堂相连，成为了魔塔“黑界议事塔”，通过其魔物开始在城市中出现，遭受毁灭性打击，与外界隔离的日本，在重建崩坏的政府同时，创立了对抗魔物用的新组织。这就是“电脑战术内阁”。

　　就任新内阁的初代总理大臣的少女，决心向着敌人中枢的黑界议事塔进军。

　　在受到毁灭性打击、与外界隔绝的日本，一个为了与魔物对抗而设立的新组织“电脑战术内阁”成立了。

　　背负国民的信任并率领内阁战斗的是新总理大臣，她们需要攻略占领了国会议事堂的魔塔“黑界议事塔”。少女们的内阁在此开幕。

　　本作预计于2017年10月5日在 PS Vita 上登场。

   

Compile Heart has released the first full-length trailer for Tokyo Clanpool.

The dungeon RPG begins when an upside-down city suddenly appears in the sky, and a tower stretching from the city connects to the National Diet Building to form the demonic “Dark World Diet Tower.” In order to fight against the monsters overflowing into the city and clear the tower, the protagonist Natsume Kannuki assumes the office of first-generation prime minister and leads a cabinet of girls.

Tokyo Clanpool is due out for PS Vita in Japan on October 5.

Megadimension Neptunia VIIR details Player Room, VR Events

Compile Heart has updated the official Japanese website for Megadimension Neptunia VIIR with information on the game’s Player Room and VR Events features.

Get the details below.

■ Player Room



The Player Room offers the following four options:

Game Play – Choose this option in order to play the game.

VR Visit – Choose this option in order to invite a goddesses to the Player Room. After choosing a goddess, you can choose a VR Event (detailed below).

Room Objects – Choose this option to place objects acquired through VR Events in the Player Room.

Memories – A place that stores your gameplay experiences. Choose this option to view and listen to the story and sounds you’ve experienced in the game thus far. The songs you replay can be set as the background music of the Player Room.

Room Objects

Through the Room Objects option, you can select a room object from an object’s location, change the object’s color, and place stuffed toys.



■ VR Events

VR Events are events that occur in the Player Room. They support PlayStation VR, but do not require it.

After choosing from the four goddesses (Neptune, Noire, Blanc, or Vert) in the VR Visit option of the Player Room, you can then choose an event. Previously experienced VR Events can be experienced as many times as you like from the VR Visit or Memories options in the Player Room.

When playing in VR Mode, simply plug in your PlayStation VR headset. When playing in Monitor Mode, hold down the Circle button until the gauge fills up. (Editor’s Note: The website does not make this clear, but this may be referring to the Gaze Marker detailed below.)



The broadcast feature of PlayStation 4’s Share functionality cannot be used during VR Events.

Gaze Marker

During a VR Event, there will be times that a “Gaze Marker” appears on the screen. The reaction of the character will change depending on whether or not you maintain eye contact with the Gaze Marker.



Questions from Characters

When the character asks the player a question, a “Yes / No” interface will appear on the screen. In order to respond “Yes,” nod your head up and down. In order to respond “No,” shake your head left and right.



Megadimension Neptunia VIIR is due out for PlayStation 4 in Japan on August 24.

Compile Heart has updated the official website for Genkai Tokki: Castle Panzers with new information and screenshots introducing new characters Legatt Ankh and Lalalei, as well as the world map and underwear appraisal gameplay systems.

Legatt Ankh (voiced by Kai Yamazaki)



President of the major trading company Fim Co. As a purveyor to the Imperial government, he is an old acquaintance of Iris, Sharon, and Riddle. He is a member of the Imperial circle who offers goods to Iris’ rebellion. This also serves as a business, but… He is also a researcher with interest in the moving castles, which contain the relics of ancient civilizations, and neglects his main work to settle in the castle for the sake of his research.

Lalalei (voiced by Kaoru Hayano)



Head of the Lune Lua Monster Girl settlement. She has a young appearance, but is of considerably old age, and is said to be a sage of vast knowledge. However, she is light-hearted and has an aloof personality. She is considerably strong, but doesn’t has no need to formally fight. This is because she does not let Monster Girls threaten humans.

Control the castle and move atop the world map. As you strengthen your castle through the “Build” feature, you may be able to get abilities such as “Jump.”

By examining areas marked with an exclamation point, events and battles will occur, and the story will progress.

G Cannon Shot



The G Cannon Shot can be used on the world map to destroy rocks that block your path.

Additionally, there are also imprisoned Monster Girls on the world map, and by breaking their seal with the G Cannon Shot, you can recruit them as an ally. If a Monster Girl becomes an ally, they will strengthen the castle, and if you summon them during battle, they will support the heroines in the areas they each specialize in, such as attacks and recovery.

■ Underwear Appraisal

Choose the Underwear



By having Otton appraise “Unidentified Underwear,” which cannot be worn as is given that it is unidentified when acquired, the heroines will then be able to wear the underwear.

By listening to the appraisal with a strong imagination, Alex will get wild ideas and produce “Build Energy.”

The heroines will actually wear the appraised underwear and display various sexy poses.
