The yellow 80’s icon with a voracious appetite celebrates his 36th anniversary with the announcement that the highly acclaimed Pac-Man 256 mobile game is now coming to home console and PC systems. Developed by Hipster Whale and 3 Sprockets, Pac-Man 256 will be available digitally for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam on 21st June.
Pac-Man 256 will allow players to experience the award winning mobile game on console with new features exclusive to the console versions. In addition to the social sharing options and 10 unlockable themes, you’ll be able to play with up to 4 friends via the local co-op multiplayer mode. Players will have to work together to eat all Pac-Dots & Power Pellets, and overcome the notorious ghost ensemble of Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde. And of course the infamous “256 Glitch” from the mobile version is back alongside a host of crazy power-ups.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America Announces A.W.: Phoenix Festa for the PlayStation Vita
Bandai Namco Entertainment America, the premier publisher of anime videogames today announced a new entry in the Simulation Action genre with A.W.: Phoenix Festa; coming to the Americas on July 26, 2016 exclusively for the PlayStation Vita hand-held system via PlayStation Network.
A.W.: Phoenix Festa is based on a popular Japanese light novel — The Asterisk War: The Academy City on the Water, where in the 20th century a catastrophic event known as the Invertia leads to the destruction of many large cities on Earth. In order to recover from the devastation, the Integrated Enterprise Foundation is formed and cities are reorganized including one city called Rikka, also known as Asterisk. Within Asterisk, six academies hold tournaments called “Festas” pitting students from each academy against each other.
A.W.: Phoenix Festa combines dating sim mechanics and combat in one game and features its own original storyline carved from the light novel series. The game will let fans experience a true love adventure with numerous endings. A.W.: Phoenix Festa will also offer players various options to enhance relationships between their favorite characters which can be influenced through battles and conversations with non-playable characters (NPCs). Players may start the game as main character Ayato or an original character and go about daily school life by making friends and competing in the “Phoenix Festa” tournament. Players also train themselves in order to increase their combat abilities as they prepare to participate in the “Phoenix Festa” tournament with their favorite characters.

D3 Publisher Announces Idol Death Game TV for PS Vita

《偶像生死斗 TV》是 Witchcraft 开发、D3 Publisher 发行的动作冒险游戏,由上田メタヲ担任插画,远藤正二朗担任脚本与监督。 游戏中玩家将扮演少女偶像候选者、以性命为赌注争夺舞台上最核心的 Center 大位,展开名符其实的 “生死斗”,有着不同于以往偶像游戏的异色设定。

Idol Death Game TV Announced as D3 Publisher’s Newest PS Vita Title
D3 Publisher teased a new idol project last week, and it’s been revealed as Idol Death Game TV, an action adventure game that will have idols battle to the death for center stage.
The title surely sounds interesting, but so far we don’t know much else about it. It will feature illustrations by Metewo Ueda and will be supervised and have its script written by Shojiro Endo. The game is being developed by Witch Craft.
Idol Death Game TV will release in October 20, 2016 for PlayStation Vita. More details will be revealed in this week’s issue of Famitsu magazine.
