SQUARE ENIX 近日发表，将于 2019 推出 PlayStation 4 与 Nintendo Switch 专用游戏软件《Final Fantasy 水晶编年史 Remastered 版》。



不朽名作《Final Fantasy 水晶编年史》历经十五年时光，将于 PlayStation 4 与 Nintendo Switch 美丽复活。

为了从瘴气之苦拯救村子，玩家们将于辽阔的世界，再次踏上寻求「米鲁拉水滴（ミルラの雫）」的旅程。

本作这次不仅推出线上多人模式，让不同地区的玩家透过联机一起游玩，还追加了角色语音、前往迷宫的新地图等，强化移植版中，还未见识过的世界正等待旅人探索。

World of Final Fantasy Maxima announced for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC

Square Enix has announced World of Final Fantasy Maxima, an enhanced version of the original World of Final Fantasy. It will launch worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam on November 6.

PlayStation 4 and PC users who already own the original World of Final Fantasy will also be able to purchase the newly added content via the “World of Final Fantasy Maxima Upgrade” downloadable content for 2,400 yen. (Western price not yet announced.)

If you want a crash course on what Final Fantasy is all about, as well as the chance to meet many of the heroes from different Final Fantasy games in one place, then World of Final Fantasy Maxima is for you!

World of Final Fantasy Maxima is the powered up version of World of Final Fantasy which was originally released in October 2016.

Embark on a magical journey with siblings Reynn and Lann as they explore the vast land of Grymoire to rediscover their past and save the future.

With charming and stylized visuals, you can capture, customize and evolve iconic creatures by stacking them to form adorable yet strategic monster towers.

New characters from Final Fantasy lore (Champions) and monsters (Mirages) add even more fun and excitement to this unique adventure in World of Final Fantasy Maxima!

Here are some additional details via the game’s Japanese official website:

• Point 1: Become a Final Fantasy Hero and Fight! – Lann and Reynn can transform into the characters of successive Final Fantasy titles and battle, and activate the dedicated abilities of each character. In addition to the legendary characters that have appeared thus far, new legends will also appear…!

• Point 2: New Mirages – Unique new Mirages will also appear in Maxima. Certain characters from older Final Fantasy series titles will even appear as Mirages.

• Point 3: Go Fishing with Noctis! – A new mini-game where you can fish with Final Fantasy XV protagonist Noctis has been added. The mini-game has its own dedicated background music.

Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon: Every Buddy! announced for PS4, Switch

　　任天堂于今（14）日早上举办预录直播发表会「Nintendo Direct 2018.9.14」，Square Enix 公布了全新作品《陆行鸟不可思议迷宫EVERY BUDDY!》台译：《陆行鸟的不可思议迷宫 EveryBuddy！ 》（チョコボの不思议なダンジョン エブリバディ！ ），预计 2018 年冬季发售，平台为 PS4 和 Switch 平台。

　　Square Enix 表示本作将回归 2007 年 Wii／NDS 主机的作品《陆行鸟不可思议迷宫：忘却时间的迷宫》台译：《陆行鸟的不可思议迷宫 忘却时间的迷宫》（チョコボの不思议なダンジョン 时忘れの迷宫）移植加强版推出，并设计了新的游戏系统成为伙伴的设计。本作还支持双人合作游玩。

Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster, and Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age are coming to Xbox One and Switch in 2019, Square Enix announced. All four titles are currently available for PlayStation 4.

Final Fantasy VII

The game that not only revolutionized the way in which videogames are both created and talked about, but also what they can represent. Final Fantasy VII changed the face of gaming back when originally released, going on to inspire an entire generation of Final Fantasy fans. We’re bringing the original Final Fantasy VII to both Nintendo Switch and Xbox One!

The story starts in Midgar, a city controlled by the mega-conglomerate Shinra Company, where the No. 1 Mako Reactor has been blown up by a rebel group, AVALANCHE.

AVALANCHE was secretly formed to wage a rebellion against Shinra Company, an organisation which is absorbing Mako energy, destroying the natural resources of the planet. Cloud, a former member of Shinra’s elite combat force, SOLDIER, was involved with the bombing of the Mako Reactor.

Can Cloud and AVALANCHE protect the planet from the huge, formidable enemy, Shinra Company?

Final Fantasy IX

Final Fantasy IX tells a grand story of love, war and betrayal.

Zidane and the Tantalus Theater Troupe have kidnapped Princess Garnet, the heir of Alexandria.

To their surprise, however, the princess herself yearned to escape the castle.

Through a series of unusual circumstances, she and her personal guard, Steiner, and a colorful cast of misfits band together with Zidane and set out on an unforgettable journey.

Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster

The only thing better than picking up a Final Fantasy game is picking up two!

Final Fantasy X absolutely lit up the sixth generation of consoles with stunning production values, including gorgeous graphics, a stunning soundtrack and a moving story.

Final Fantasy X tells the story of a star blitzball player, Tidus, who journeys with a young and beautiful summoner named Yuna on her quest to save the world of Spira from an endless cycle of destruction wrought by the colossal menace Sin.

Final Fantasy X-2 returns to the world of Spira two years after the beginning of the Eternal Calm. Having been shown a mysterious but familiar image in a sphere, Yuna becomes a Sphere Hunter and along with her companions Rikku and Paine, embarks on a quest around the world to find the answers to the mystery within.

Two of the greatest RPGs of their generation have been completely remastered to match modern standards, and Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster is the perfect way to experience both of these titles one after the other.

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age

Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age improves upon the 2006 classic Final Fantasy XII, now more beautiful and easier to play than ever.

The high-definition remaster introduces several modern advancements, including reconstructed battle design and a revamped job system.

With newly implemented modern advancements, as well as stark visual and sound improvements in true HD for the first time, players both returning and new to the game will experience a grand adventure that spans the world of Ivalice in an entirely fresh and improved way.

《Final Fantasy VIII》为何没移植到新世代主机？可能是源代码丢了

　　上周，Square Enix 宣布了《Final Fantasy VII、IX、X、X-2 和 XII》将会于 2019 年登陆 Switch 和 Xbox One 平台的消息，那么很多人都会产生一个疑问《Final Fantasy VIII》去哪了？

据外媒VG247报道，这个问题的主要答案可能是Square把《Final Fantasy VIII》的源代码搞丢了。

报道称上世纪90年代的电子游戏代码保存工作做的很不好，Square没有一个合适的系统来在游戏发售后保存项目的源代码，这些东西很快就会丢失。在1997年，Square位于美国加州的团队和Eidos的员工开始移植PC版的《Final Fantasy VII》时发现，Square日本办公室丢给他们的源代码并不是最终发售的版本而是一个旧的版本，这其中有很多bug，甚至包含了一些在正式版中被剪掉了的场景。PC移植团队花了很大功夫来修改它，使得它能尽可能与PlayStation上的版本相似。最终该团队成功将《Final Fantasy VII》移植到了PC上，然而这个PC版的代码也没有很好地保存。在2013年时，Square Enix希望为新主机和手机端移植该版本时又发现源代码找不到了。

“有趣的是，几年前我接到了Square打来的电话，因为他们希望重新发布PC版的游戏，所以想问问我知不知道源代码存在哪。”曾于1997-1999年担任Eidos总裁的Keith Boesky去年在Polygon的采访中这样说到，“是的，他们把它弄丢了。”

最终，Square是通过将之前的PC版进行逆向工程修改之后重新推出的。而《Final Fantasy IX 》的源代码保存得更完整，这也是为什么FF9在本世代主机和移动端上有着更高的分辨率、角色纹理以及其它的改进。

这种糟糕的保存和备份为今后重新发售游戏带来了连锁反应，这也是为什么PS4版的《Final Fantasy VII 和 IX 》的背景场景非常模糊的原因。这些预渲染的3D背景最初都是以远高于所需的分辨率创建的，然后被压缩到了320x240或640x480的分辨率，但是当Square完成游戏之后，似乎很多高清的背景和CG动画原文件都被丢弃了。

而《Final Fantasy VIII》也有着同样的命运，有可能原来PS1版的源代码已经丢失了，因为当时的产品一旦发售之后，开发团队就会将工作成果删除并转移到下一个项目里。尽管《Final Fantasy VIII》推出过PC版，但那个版本也有很多问题，比如对手柄的支持很差、经常会崩溃、糟糕品质的midi音乐等。报道指出，《Final Fantasy VII》使用了5种不同的游戏引擎来制作不同的游戏模式，这是一个非常复杂的项目，而《Final Fantasy VIII》也是有着相同结构的游戏，因此将它带到PS4等平台需要时间。

除此之外，《Final Fantasy VIII》没有移植到本世代平台的一个次要原因可能和主题曲“Eyes on Me”有关，当然这可能只是猜测。由于知名歌手王菲演唱了这首主题曲，其中可能牵扯到一些音乐版权方面的问题，这也是为什么类似《Disiddia FInal Fantasy》《Theatrhythm Final Fantasy》里包含不少《Final Fantasy VIII》的配乐但唯独缺少王菲演唱的“Eyes on Me”的原因，而《Final Fantasy IX 》的“Melodies of Life”和《Final Fantasy XII》的“Kiss Me Goodbye”主题曲则都出现在了《Theatrhythm Final Fantasy》里。

　　因此，或许我们还要等很久才有可能看到《Final Fantasy VIII》在新平台上推出的可能性。
