Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition launches August 31
Divinity: Original Sin II Definitive Edition will launch for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on August 31, publisher Bandai Namco announced.
Here is an overview of the game, via Bandai Namco:
Divinity: Original Sin II gives players the freedom of a sandbox RPG, encouraging improvisation and experimentation, with rules made to be bent rather than followed. The game takes place in the world of Rivellon where players can go anywhere, talk to anyone (living, dead, or non-human), and fully interact with the game world like no other RPG. The game features six unique origin characters with full-fledged backstories, personalities, and questlines: Red Prince, a haughty but heroic lizard noble; Sebille, an elven assassin; Lohse, a possessed musician; Ifan ben-Mezd, a mercenary ex-soldier; Beast, a rebel-turned-pirate dwarf; and Fane, an undead member of the long-forgotten Eternal race. Console players diving into the world of Divinity: Original Sin II for the first time will enjoy a user interface tailored for console play in both four-player online co-op and two-player split-screen co-op modes. Additional content updates and extra features will be announced in the weeks and months leading to the game’s launch later this year.

Here are the details on the HitRECord partnership, via Ubisoft.com:
Ubisoft is taking that process one step further by partnering with HitRECord – a collaborative creative platform founded by Joseph Gordon-Levitt – and inviting artists to create content for the game, such as poster designs, radio ads, and music.
Open to artists of all skill levels and fields, the partnership encourages participants to work with others – including the developers of Beyond Good and Evil 2 themselves – and will offer creative briefings to guide the process. Artists will be able to link their HitRECord and Space Monkey Program accounts, and start submitting content with the tag “BGE2” for review by the development team. Creators can submit designs or music, and can build on pre-existing content in the site’s archives. Creators will also be credited and paid for their contributions based on item type, scope of work, and intention for its use. If you’ve ever wanted to see your work appear in a major videogame, now’s your chance to make it happen.
To contribute, head to HitRECord, and link your Space Monkey Program account at hitrecord.org/bgegame.
Trials Rising announced for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC
Ubisoft announced Trials Rising, the next entry in the Trials motorcycle platforming series, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. It will launch in February 2019. Beta sign-ups are available now at the game’s official website.
Trials Rising is the newest iteration of Ubisoft’s gripping motorcycle platforming series. Combining the core gameplay and over-the-top action of the Trials franchise with all-new features, more competition, and a fresh visual look, Trials Rising is the biggest and most ambitious title in the series to date.
The competitive rags-to-riches experience is designed from the ground up to gently introduce new players to the acclaimed physics-based gameplay. With more tracks than ever before, beginners are in for a smooth ride towards mastery, while the skills and nerves of experienced players will be put to the test in the most advanced challenges. This is Trials at its best.
Key Features
• Competition is Everywhere – Competition is all over the globe with fun and elaborate tracks located across several continents. Whether it’s finding the perfect line in a smoldering caldera in the wilds of Yellowstone Park, doing triple backflips off the Eiffel Tower in Paris, or navigating massive drops on Mount Everest with snow storms looming, the thrills are endless. The new map also has integrated community features that show other players’ personal bests, and alerts you if a friend has broken your record or if a new custom track has been shared.
• Star Small, Dream Big – From local backyard competitions to the biggest stadiums on the world stage, you will ride against other players as fully visualized ghosts or in real-time local and online multiplayer. Starting from humble beginnings, you’ll improve your skills, grow your fame and rise in the ranks as you beat the competition. Looking to earn even more fortune and fame? Sponsors such as Fox Racing Gear, KTM, and even RedLynx are always on the lookout for new talent and will offer contracts to complete special challenges. Think you can execute a perfect run-through without crashing or hold a wheelie for 10 meters? You’ll be handsomely rewarded if you can!
• Community-Powered Customization – Customization has always been a key component in the Trials experience, and Trials Rising takes it to the next level, empowering the community like never before. Players will now have the freedom to customize and share any outfit or bike skin they want, resulting in endless possibilities. In addition to the outfit and bike customization editor, the legendary Trials Track Editor comes back bigger than ever.
• Tandem Bike: When Two Become One – Trials Rising adds an exciting new local multiplayer mode with the Tandem Bike. Two riders, each contributing fifty percent of the power and balance, ride together on one bike. Put your friendships to the test as you coordinate through tight corners, big jumps, and other outlandish obstacles. Get ready for the unexpected and for hilarity to ensue!

Ubisoft announced that The Division 2 will have raids and debuted a new cinematic trailer for the game during its E3 2018 press conference.
Here are the details, via Ubisoft.com:
Set in a one-to-one recreation of Washington, D.C., The Division 2 has been shaped by all the lessons the development team learned from listening and collaborating with players since The Division‘s launch more than two years ago. As a result, the game has been developed with an endgame-first mentality. For players, this means that from day one, The Division 2‘s main campaign will naturally flow into a robust endgame with its own narrative thread and unique challenges.
Progress also continues long after Level 30. Once you reach the level cap, you’ll be able to select a Specialization. Each Specialization, like sharpshooter, demolitionist, or survivalist, comes with its own progression path. These paths introduce new skill mods, talents, and tools, including brand new signature weapons. As you further customize your Agent, you’ll also have access to a wealth of PvP experiences, including a fully revamped Dark Zone experience. Additionally, in a first for the franchise, eight-player raids will make their way to The Division 2. These challenging missions will test the skill, communication, and teamwork of even the most expert Agents.
While there will be tons of content available on day one, The Division 2 is committed to continually offering new content updates. Post-launch, the game will see the inclusion of a year’s worth of story-driven missions, map expansions, and new modes for free.
For those who want even more content, an optional premium pass will give you access to one year of exclusive add-ons.
The Division 2 is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on March 15, 2019.
