Gintama Rumble sixth Japanese TV spot; Tae, Tama, Taizou, Kyuubei, Matako, Bansai, Umibouzu assist character details
Bandai Namco has released the sixth official Japanese TV spot for Gintama Rumble, which focuses on the “Shogun Assassination Arc.”
Additionally, the official website has been updated with information on new assist characters Tae Shimura, Tama, Taizou Hasegawa, Kyuubei Yagyuu, Matako Kijima, Bansai Kawakami, and Umibouzu Date. Get the details below.
Tae Shimura
Shinpachi’s older sister. She works at a bar in order to pay off her debt and rebuild the family dojo. Although beautiful in appearance, she also has a violent side that you could not imagine exists by looking at her.
Tama
The housekeeper of Machine Hall, her formal name is “Fuyou No.0.” She stopped the rampage of her creator, Hayashi Ryuuzan, and currently works at Otose’s Snack House.
Taizou Hasegawa
The symbol of MADAO (totally hopeless old guys). He was fired from the Immigration Bureau after Prince Hata, who he was tasked with protecting, was hit, and now lives a MADAO life to the fullest.
Kyuubei Yagyuu
The successor to the Yagyuu family, the reigning shogunate family for generations. She returned to ask Tae Shimura for her hand in marriage, but is actually a girl raised as a man.
Matako Kijima
A gunner known by the nickname “Red Bullet.” She admires Shinsuke Takasugi, and is one of the top members of the Kiheitai. She adds “ssu” to the ends of her sentences.
Bansai Kawakami
Publicly, he is the one who gave Otsuu-chan (Tsuu Terakado) her big break. He is the trendy music producer Tsun, but privately he is a member of the Kiheitai.
Umibouzu Date
His real name is Kankou. He is active all over the world as an Alien Buster. He is Kamui and Kagura’s father, but there is distance between them due to a certain incident that occurred in the past.

Tatsuma Sakamoto
A merchant who used the profits he gained through trade to establish the “Kaientai” in order to regulate the relationship between humans and aliens. During the Joui Wars, he was a comrade who fought alongside Gitnama and company. He has a loud voice.
—Battle Style
In addition to gun-based attacks, Tatsuma can fight at mid-range with his unique, tricky movements. Although his attacks are unique, since they are straightforward, you can unleash stylish gun combos once you get the hang of them. However, other than his defense power, his stats are overall low, so do not get overconfident.

Rakuyou Decisive Battle Arc
Because of the rebellion against the bakufu, Gintama and company were hiding out in the underground city of Akiba. Nobume then appeared, and with the mysterious Utsuro, revealed the true identity of their former teacher, Shouyou Yoshida. Around the same time, they learn that Kagura’s father Umibouzu is chasing after Kamui in their hometown of Rakuyou. In pursuit of Kagura, who is heading for the finisher on her own, Gintoki and company also head towards Rakuyou.

Bandai Namco has updated the official website for Gintama Romble with information on newly announced assist characters Brieza and Cello, who are parodies of Dragon Ball character Frieza and Cell.

Brieza
An Emperor of the universe-ish character who attacked Planet Hamek in search of the Zuruzuru Balls (Dragging Balls). He was killed by Hijikata, a warrior awakened by the anger of nicotine withdrawal.
Cello
A cyborg-esque character who possessed six of the seven Zuruzuru Balls (Dragging Balls). He was killed instantly by Hijikata without even getting a chance to warm up.
A “special version” of the November 2017-released second trailer was also released, which features different narration. Watch that below.
