AeternoBlade is coming to Switch on February 1, developer Corecell Technology announced.
The side-scrolling action adventure game first launched for 3DS in February 2014, followed by PS Vita in February 2015, PlayStation 4 in August 2015, and Xbox One in August 2017.
Here is an overview of the game, via Corecell Technology:
In the region of Awelsia, vengeful Freyja travels with an unknown weapon called “AeternoBlade.” Freyja looks to take revenge on Beladim, the Lord of the Mist who destroyed her village, Ridgerode, and killed her tribe. Her vengeance is helped by Vernia, who has as much merit as Beladim. Vernia taught Freya about the abilities of AeternoBlade. Freya has to venture into many different world dimensions to discover how to annihilate Beladim.
What is AeternoBlade? How can Freya take revenge on Beladim? Solve tons of mysteries in her adventure together!
An Indiegogo campaign for a sequel, AeternoBlade II, was launched in May 2017, but failed to meet its $30,000 funding goal. In an August 2017 update, Corecell Technology said it will continue to look for a way to complete AeternoBlade II, such as by releasing the original game on Xbox One later that month. In today’s announcement for AeternoBlade on Switch, Corecell Technology included the following GIF of the sequel:https://imgur.com/boB8zN1

Internet rumours this week pegged Bandai Namco as being the mystery studio behind Metroid Prime 4 - something multiple sources have now confirmed to Eurogamer as being accurate.
Specifically, the highly-anticipated Nintendo Switch exclusive is being developed by Bandai Namco Studios Singapore, which we understand is lead studio on the game in collaboration with Nintendo.
This studio houses some former LucasArts Singapore staff who previously worked on, among other things, the ambitious cancelled Star Wars 1313.
Metroid Prime 4 was briefly announced via a logo shown during Nintendo's E3 2017 broadcast. During a media pre-briefing, journalists asked Nintendo exactly who was behind the game. Nintendo declined to reply, except to say that Retro Studios, which created the original Metroid Prime Trilogy, was not behind the project.
Since then, speculation has been rife over who was working on Metroid Prime 4, but nothing more has been announced about the game since.
It is still relatively early in the game's development - there's no suggestion Prime 4 will launch this year (which, perhaps, might just leave room for a port of the Metroid Prime Trilogy compilation to get Switch owners up to speed on the story so far).
Splatoon 2 Starter Edition launches March 16 in North America
Nintendo will release a Spaltoon 2 Starter Edition incluidng a copy of the game, 100-page “Splategy Guide,” and two sheets of stickers on March 16 in North America for $59.99, the company announced.
Splatoon 2 first launched for Switch on July 21, 2017, and has since sold more than 4.9 million units worldwide.
In addition to the Splatoon 2 Starter Edition, Nintendo also announced that it will release Amiibo figures of Splatoon characters Pearl and Marina. The duo make up the in-game music group “Off the Hook.” The Amiibo figures will launch in stores exclusively as part of a two-pack set later this year.
