XSEED Games, the independent-minded console publishing brand of Marvelous USA, announced its exciting lineup of games that will be shown for the first time at the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) June 14 – 16 in Los Angeles. Revealed today are Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system, and Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.

The company will additionally showcase The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II for the PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system and “PSVita” system , Corpse Party for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems, and recently announced indie games; Shantae: Half-Genie Hero for PS4™, Wii U, and “PSVita”, Touhou: Scarlet Curiosity for PS4, and Exile’s End for PS4, Wii U, and “PSVita.”

Also announced today was the addition of Akiba’s Beat, also for the PS4 and “PSVita” to the company’s lineup, which is currently set for a Winter 2016 launch. More information about the game will be made available at E3.

"We’re excited about the expansion of our portfolio with the addition of titles from high profile franchises such as Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star and follow-ups to our acclaimed properties with Story of Seasons and The Legend of Heroes," said Shinichi Suzuki, President & CEO of Marvelous USA. Platforms: PS4, PSVita - Release: Winter

Expanding upon the extensive and much-beloved Fate universe with a standalone story from acclaimed series writer Kinoko Nasu (of Fate/stay night fame), Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star, developed by Marvelous Inc., transpires on the new world of Extella through a diverse cast of “Servants” – ancient warriors of legend and imagination, always at their Masters’ orders – who survived the Holy Grail War that took place on the Moon. In a future ruled by the all-powerful lunar super computer Moon Cell Automaton, these champions now duke it out for dominance over this digital realm, known as “SE.RA.PH.” This story takes place after the events described in Fate/EXTRA, and depicts the world after that previous Holy Grail War. Players will experience the story from the independent perspectives of the three heroine Servants and face off against foes from a variety of Fate productions, including characters from Fate/stay night, Fate/Apocrypha and Fate/Grand Order, in fast-paced action. A new form change battle mechanic debuts in this entry to match its series-first gameplay style, transforming the player-controlled Servants and granting them considerable powers that allow them to devastate enemies and take formidable challenges head-on.



Platform: Nintendo 3DS - Release: 2017

In celebration of the upcoming 20th anniversary of the longest-running farming and life simulation series, the beloved Bokujo Monogatari franchise – now known as Story of Seasons in the West – returns with its biggest adventure yet in Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns. Settled on a homestead in the middle of three distinct and uniquely themed locales, players can explore a diverse landscape as they search for new ways to grow their farms and friendships. Extensive customization and gameplay options are on offer in Trio of Towns, with each village offering its own variety of regional crops, lads and ladies to romance, animals, festivals, furniture, decorations and more. More ways to play sprout up as players connect to one another locally or via the internet to chat, trade, and enhance items on a mysterious multiplayer island.

　　由《恶魔城 X：月下夜想曲》制作人五十岚孝司发起募资制作的《恶魔城》风格原创新作动作游戏 PS4 / Xbox One / Wii U / PC《血咒之城：暗夜仪式（Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night）》，在募资网站上公布了第 4 波开发进度更新影片，同时宣布将于下周的 E3 展中出 PC 试玩版。

　　《血咒之城：暗夜仪式》是以《恶魔城 X：月下夜想曲》奠定动作探索玩法《恶魔城》系列作的制作人五十岚孝司离开 KONAMI 开设新开发工作室「ArtPlay」后，在 Kickstarter 发起募资制作的《恶魔城》风格横向卷轴 2D 动作游戏，获得玩家热烈响应，募集到目标 10 倍以上的金额。

Today felt like a fun day to show off what we’ve been up to with Volume: Coda.

Our game, Volume, was released a year ago on PlayStation 4, with a port a few months later to the mighty PS Vita. It’s a stealth puzzle game the way we wanted to make one. We were immensely humbled by the great reaction it got from players and critics, and set about making a little something to say thank you.

Volume: Coda is that ‘thank you’; a free expansion for everyone who owns the original game, exclusively created for PlayStation VR. You’ll guide your character around stealth missions as before, but now you’ll be doing so in an immersive story environment, with a cool holographic simulation floating in front of you. A simulation we’ve added user scaling to, primarily so you can go ‘swwooosshh’ as you pull back on the DualShock and let the hologram engulf you.

Volume: Coda continues the story of the main game across 30 new levels, but this time, you’ll be privy to the knowledge of the villains and the scoundrels, and how they react to a new breed of revolution and a new protagonist.

We cannot wait to show you more. We’ll be demoing the game to press at E3.

Nintendo Gives Fans Ways to Stay Engaged with Its E3-Related Activities

Nintendo is getting ready for the E3 video game trade show in Los Angeles next week, and wants to help fans stay engaged with all the Nintendo news and action from the show. Here’s a rundown of some of Nintendo’s activities before and during the show:

June 8

• The Legend of Zelda Twitter campaign for Miitomo in-app gifts: Miitomo users should check @NintendoAmerica on Twitter today for a special tweet kicking off a collaboration between the mobile app and the Legend of Zelda franchise. If the tweet gets a combined 10,000 retweets worldwide, Nintendo will issue a “Link’s new hair wig” as an in-app gift to all users of Nintendo’s Miitomo mobile app. If it gets 20,000 combined retweets, Nintendo will give all Miitomo users a “Link wig” in the Miitomo app.


June 14

• More of The Legend of Zelda in Miitomo: Miitomo will continue its celebration of The Legend of Zelda with a themed Miitomo Drop game that will give players the chance to win The Legend of Zelda-themed in-app gear for their Mii character. Players will also be able to use Miitomo coins in Miitomo to purchase The Legend of Zelda collaboration items. An additional The Legend of Zelda collaboration gift will be available on the My Nintendo website, and players can exchange their My Nintendo Platinum Points for this item.

• Nintendo Treehouse: Live – Day 1: Nintendo’s kickoff to the E3 trade show begins at 9 a.m. PT, with an introduction by Nintendo of America President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime and the world’s first look at live gameplay of The Legend of Zelda game for the Wii U console. Viewers can also catch the first live gameplay of the Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon games. Watch Nintendo Treehouse: Live via Nintendo’s channels on YouTube and Twitch, as well as on e3.nintendo.com.

• Nintendo eShop sale: Starting at 11 a.m. PT until 8:59 a.m. PT on June 21, Nintendo is offering discounts on some of its most popular games as a special treat for fans. My Nintendo members who are signed in will also get a special bonus if they buy select games included in the sale. Anyone who hasn’t signed up for My Nintendo yet is encouraged to do so now to avoid the E3 rush. To get the extra discount, My Nintendo members must link their Nintendo Account to their Nintendo Network ID and access Nintendo eShop on their device at least once before they make a purchase. The discounted games can be purchased in Nintendo eShop or at e3.nintendo.com.

June 15

• Nintendo Treehouse: Live – Day 2: Starting at 10 a.m. PT, the Nintendo Treehouse: Live programming will showcase upcoming Wii U and Nintendo 3DS games, including Monster Hunter Generations from Capcom, Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past and Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE. The day will start with a special Pokémon GO developer Q&A. Watch all of Nintendo’s action from the E3 show floor via Nintendo’s channels on YouTube and Twitch, as well as on e3.nintendo.com.

Call of Cthulhu: insanity is the only path for truth

The E3 trailer for Call of Cthulhu, the official video game adaptation of Chaosium's pen & paper RPG, rises from the depths. Developed for consoles and PC by Cyanide Studio in Paris, Call of Cthulhu will offer an RPG-Investigation title, packed with psychological horror and stealth mechanics. Cyanide Studio brings to life a disturbing world that players will have to explore and investigate while Cthulhu, the Great Dreamer, prepares its awakening. Today's E3 Trailer offers but a glimpse at all that awaits you.

In Call of Cthulhu, players will control Edward Pierce, a former veteran and private investigator in 1920s Boston. Pierce will be investigating the tragic and mysterious death of Sarah Hawkins and her family in Darkwater Island. The game's E3 Trailer showcases this disturbing Island and the eerie Hawkins Family Mansion, and gives a glimpse at how the intensity of the investigation will slowly start chipping away at your Sanity.

Insanity and the Cthulhu Mythos have long been entwined - as your investigation brings you closer to Cthulhu's sphere of influence, madness will progressively engulf your senses, leaving you to increasingly question what is real and what is illusory. They say that madness is the only way that can bring you to the truth and you will have to balance your sanity against your determination to discover it!

The Cthulhu Mythos has grown to become one of the largest shared universes ever envisioned, giving birth to countless stories, novels, and even movies ever since the original publication of Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu.

Call of Cthulhu will release in 2017 on consoles and PC.

The Technomancer shows off the chaotic Red Planet in its E3 trailer

The Technomancer, the sci-fi RPG set on Mars, releases on June 28 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Today we're showcasing the game's E3 Trailer, driven by the Frijid Pink's legendary cover of the rock classic "House of the Rising Sun". Delve into the chaotic world of Mars, a planet that is torn by war and political conflict.

Mars is a barren wasteland that is home to the forgotten children of Earth. On the surface, warring corporations fight wars from their massive domed cities for one resource: water. Underground, hidden between the crags or in unexplored valleys, you will face factions struggling for their own profit, or mutants permanently changed by the sun's radiation and hated by the rest of humankind.

Here you play as a Technomancer - a formidable warrior harnessing destructive electrical powers. Travel with your companions, choosing between diplomacy, combat, or trickery to resolve quests. Gain experience to level up your character, and learn new skills or upgrade perks across 4 unique skill trees. Loot, buy, and craft more powerful equipment and weaponry for yourself and teammates to stand a chance of surviving! Only you can forge the destiny of Mars.

Styx: Shards of Darkness E3 Trailer Reveals Our Goblin Assassin's Spectacular Quest

Styx: Shards of Darkness, the stealth-focused sequel to Cyanide Studios' surprise success story Master of Shadows, comes to consoles and PC in 2016. Styx creeps back in a new adventure packed with bigger production values, a load of new features and a new engine: Unreal Engine 4. Today's spirited E3 Trailer unveils more about the quest awaiting our green-skinned anti-hero in Styx: Shards of Darkness.

While Styx is in business in Thoben, the City of Thieves, he makes a deal with a mysterious human officer, Helledryn. As Styx, you must steal the highly-coveted ambassador's scepter… unfortunately, other, more nefarious parties are interested in such a valuable prize. Of course, the reward is more than worth the risk, as the officer is promising a great deal of magical amber; the resource Styx desperately needs to fuel his power.

Sneak your way to your objectives, evading dwarves, elves, and all manner of other races, all the while hunting down the scepter. Creatively utilize all of Styx's tools: assassination, amber powers, talents and skills, equipment, and crafting!

Each race excels at a different thing. The Dark Elves, for instance, are experts at goblin hunting while the Dwarves have a supernatural sense of smell, enabling them to track you down (even when invisible!). Learn their strengths and weaknesses if you want to survive long enough to snatch the scepter.

GT Fans! With E3 2016 just around the corner, we thought we’d give the community a first look at some of the new features in Gran Turismo Sport, including Livery Editor, Social Features, LIVE Broadcast and Photo Scapes modes.

Gran Turismo’s legacy of innovation is rekindled once again with the next iteration of Polyphony Digital’s eSports-focused racing simulator. More than 15 years ago Kazunori Yamauchi and his team introduced console gamers to real-world physics, and more recently, Gran Turismo has trailblazed new paths across the gaming and automotive industries with programs such as Vision Gran Turismo and GT Academy. Building on GT Academy’s success, GT Sport empowers gamers of all skill levels to compete in high-stakes racing with FIA-certified championships.

If you haven’t had a chance to see what the future of motorsport holds, check out the first Gran Turismo FIA Championship Pre-Season Test that was held in London last month.

32 of the world’s fastest GT players competed head-to-head in two championships – Nations Cup and Manufacturers Fan Cup. After a series of intense battles across the newly introduced Tokyo Expressway and the ever-popular Nürburgring Nordschleife, Takuya Takahashi of Japan walked away with top honors in the Nations Cup, while Carlos Martinez (Spain) and Yusuke Tomibayashi (Japan) was crowned victor of the Manufacturers Fan Cup.

The game’s newest trailer shows off GT Sport’s most compelling features and provides an exhilarating look at the future of motorsport – enjoy!
