Forza Motorsport 6 is Coming – Starring the All-new Ford GT!

The new year may have just begun but already there is major news to announce for the Forza world: Forza Motorsport 6 is coming!

Today, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Microsoft and Turn 10 Studios officially announced Forza Motorsport 6, which is in development and will be arriving exclusively on Xbox One. The news came alongside the announcement of the worldwide debut of the all-new Ford GT, which will serve as the cover car for Forza Motorsport 6. In addition, Ford’s performance vehicle line-up will appear in Forza Motorsport 6. This includes the GT, Shelby GT350 Mustang, and the F-150 Raptor, debuted by Ford earlier today at the auto show. As First in Forza vehicles, Forza fans will have the opportunity to drive these cars when they debut in Forza 6.

“Just as Ford has pushed the boundaries of car technology in GT, Forza Motorsport 6 will embrace that spirit of innovation as our most technically advanced racing simulation to date, offering a fun and realistic automotive experience for both car lovers and gamers,” said Dan Greenawalt, creative director at Turn 10 Studios. “We’re excited to unveil gameplay at E3 in June.”

The announcement of Forza Motorsport 6 kicks off 2015 and the ten-year anniversary of the Forza Motorsport series. 　　根据官方于「北美国际汽车展览（底特律车展，North American International Auto Show）」中首度曝光的消息表示，《极限竞速 6》与美国汽车大厂「福特汽车」签下合作契约正式结盟，除了由全新福特 GT 的超高性能超跑担纲游戏封面之外，游戏内也将会收录 Shelby GT350 Mustang 以及 F-150 Raptor 等福特车种。同时，在发表影片中也主打福特的车种来聚焦宣传力道。

   

　　另外，将在今年 6 月 16 日举办的 2015 年 E3 电玩展中，本作也确定将会展出试玩区块。官方也表示「2015 年为《极限竞速》系列诞生 10 周年，今年也将会是《极限竞速》历史中格外重要且繁忙的一年。」

【E3 15】强调雨天效果呈现《极限竞速 6》开放试玩 以 3 个连接屏幕体验赛车竞速

　　系列新作《极限竞速 6》于此次 E3 电玩展中公布更多系统信息。 Turn 10 工作室的 Dan Greenawalt 表示，这次的作品中加入了雨天、昼夜变化系统，并强调真实呈现其效果，让玩家在赛道上能有更多真实体验。

　　今年为《极限竞速》系列诞生 10 周年，最新作品《极限竞速 6》与美国汽车场商「福特汽车」合作，除了由全新福特 GT 的超高性能超跑担纲游戏封面之外，游戏内也会收录 Shelby GT350 Mustang 以及 F-150 Raptor 等福特车种。

   

　　制作人表示：「本作中收录 26 赛道、450 款汽车，玩家可以针对车子进行客制化，而在故事模式已有 70 个小时的游戏时间，让玩家体验。 」

　　本作中强调下雨、昼夜的变化，并展示了雨天的特效，当车子向左、向右时，雨水的移动方向会跟着改变，而当车子行经积水处时，可以感受到车子打滑。 制作人强调：「我们就是要让玩家有车子要打滑时的紧张感。 」

　　在多人联机方面则新增了「联盟」系统，在这里会有类似等级的机制，系统会依照等级进行配对，让双方实力都可以很平均，之后将会有更多多人联机的相关内容。 此外，《极限竞速 6》中还有「轨迹」功能，这项功能是从《极限竞速 2》开始，显示众多玩家最常开的路线。

　　在此次微软摊位中，《极限竞速 6》摆设了 3 个屏幕的 4D 体验，玩家座在仿真装置上，以 3 个连接屏幕，体验 1080p、60 FPS 的竞赛。

Forza Motorsport 6 has Gone Gold

The latest mile marker on the road to Forza Motorsport 6’s launch has arrived: We’ve gone gold! In two weeks, Forza Motorsport 6 will be available to play via early access for owners of the Ultimate Edition. Five days later, Forza 6 will be unleashed to everyone! Before the full game launches, however, fans will have the chance to experience the thrills of Forza Motorsport 6 in the official free demo for the game, which launches on September 1.

The Forza Motorsport 6 demo will let players experience the most beautiful and comprehensive racing game of this generation, named “Best Racing Game” and “Best Simulation Game” of gamescom 2015. The demo features a selection of the 450+ Forzavista cars available in the full version, all with working cockpits and full damage.
