Creed: Rise to Glory coming to PlayStation VR this fall
Creed: Rise to Glory, the virtual reality boxing game from Sprint Vector developer Survios, will launch for PlayStation VR this fall, the studio announced.

Lend a Hand in Ghost Giant, Coming to PS VR
It’s thrilling how many different ways there are to tell a story. Novels, movies and games all have their own approach – and with VR, even more unique possibilities have arisen. That’s something we want to explore with Ghost Giant, Zoink’s brand new title that we’re very proud to announce today.
In Ghost Giant, you meet young Louis. He lives in an out-of-the-way part of town, where he tends to the family sunflower farm together with his mother. Life isn’t always that easy though, and Louis is incredibly lonely. That is, until you enter his life.
As the player you take on the role of the Ghost Giant. And a giant you are indeed! Use your see-through hands to lift furniture, vehicles and trees. You can even rotate and open entire buildings to reveal the stories going on inside. The picturesque town of Sancourt becomes your own little dollhouse sandbox.
Being a giant is a big advantage when building your friendship with Louis. Along your journey, you help him with all manner of challenges that, at first glance, seem impossible to pull off. While they often involve heavy lifting, your most important role is less physical. It’s that of being a supporting friend for a child in need of some guidance.
For Ghost Giant, Zoink has teamed up with renowned writer Sara Bergmark Elfgren, whose work ranges from novels to graphic novels to screenplays, and has been translated to 25 languages. We’re very excited about what we’ve been able to achieve together, with our quite differing backgrounds in storytelling coming together in a new media. Beat Saber is a unique VR rhythm game where your goal is to slash the beats (represented by small cubes) as they are coming at you. Every beat indicates which saber you need to use and also the direction you need to match. All the music is composed to perfectly fit the hand made levels. Sony Interactive Entertainment JAPAN Studio 制作人山际真晃表示,《失根》是一款由 JAPAN Studio 与 FromSoftware 宫崎英高总监的 《血源诅咒》 开发团队原班人马合作开 发的全新 PS VR 专用冒险类型游戏。
宫崎英高总监表示,本游戏的起点来自我个人「是否能提议开发一款以VR来展现古典的冒险游戏,藉以获得独特的游戏体验」这样的纯粹想法,随后获得 SIE 的肯定并得以进行开发,十分感谢。 而开发结果与当初所描绘的构思相去不远,虽与至今所制作过的游戏风格截然不同,但是款特殊且能让人感受到温情的游戏,希望能有更多的玩家能接触这款作品。
《失根(暂译,Déraciné)》预计将于 2018 年推出。

Deracine is an all new adventure game that brings Japan Studio, From Software and director Hidetaka Miyazaki together for the first time since Bloodborne. The story unfolds in a secluded boarding school where six children quietly spend their days. It is into this environment that you appear, an unseen faerie existing in a world of frozen time. As the story progresses, time shifts around you, at times even throwing you into the past.
Our goal as we develop this title is to use the latest in VR technology to create a traditional adventure game or visual novel where the user explores a quiet world teeming with mysteries.
Deracine’s most important element is the bond between the player, an unseen faerie, and the children of the boarding school. This is shown using fragmented storytelling, where the user pieces events together from scattered story elements, and a setting where time is frozen. All of this comes together in a compelling, emotional narrative.
I also have a special message from Miyazaki himself:
“This title got its start when I asked myself whether I could recreate the classic adventure game with its relaxed pace in virtual reality, giving users an entirely unique experience. SIE was interested, and I am very grateful to have them as a partner as we develop this game together.
“The result is that the concept behind the title has changed little since those initial thoughts, and Déraciné has a warm, peculiar feel to it that is completely different from anything we have done before. I’d love for as many users as possible to give it a try.”
Deracine is scheduled to release exclusively for PlayStation VR in 2018.
