KOF97 released for iOS, mystery image on front page, SNK Playmore Twitter is up ~ Reveal soon?
Like, today, the iOS version of The King of Fighters '97 released. I've been dabbling with it, and it's a pretty damn good port, as are the other SNK-iOS titles.
Then... on the JP side of SNK's website, this little image popped up.
These are 3D Renders of Nakoruru, Terry Bogard, Haohmaru, Geese Howard and Alice - characters from Fatal Fury and Samurai Shodown. Earlier this year, SNK had a recruiting call for 3D animators to work on the next KOF/Samurai Shodown title (in 3D!) Judging from earlier rumors/speculation, Is this the fruit of their labors?
Then, SNKP's twitter account for JPN FINALLY shows up this late in here.

根据商标速报bot的推文中写道，商标的名字为“THE RHYTHM OF FIGHTERS”，和《拳皇》系列的原名《The King of Fighters》如出一辙。注册日期为2014年2月21日，类别为电脑用游戏软件及电视游戏用品。这是继《女神异闻录》改编音乐游戏后，又一个经典系列向节拍类靠拢，不知道玩法会如何呢?按对了节拍才能发八稚女和大蛇稚吗?
