Whore of the Orient Gameplay Footage Leaked
Team Bondi次世代新作《东方妓女》游戏视频泄露

　　外媒泄露了Team Bondi次世代新作《东方妓女（Whore of the Orient）》的游戏视频。

　　官方描述这款游戏主题为“1936年的上海，东方的妓女，东方的巴黎。这个星球上最堕落，最颓废的城市，金钱可以解决一切，西方在这里贪婪的榨取中国的贫民百姓，中国民族主义一触即发，国民党无情的镇压初创的共产主义与工人运动，这时上海(国际租界的)国际警察机构，一群西方的警察却无奈的保守秘密，维护治安。”

　　据悉《东方妓女》将面向次世代主机平台Xbox One和PS4以及PC平台推出。

　　 Bondi早先因《黑色洛城》而歇业，后与获奥斯卡奖品好莱坞制作团队Kennedy Miller Mitchell联合公新作《东方妓女》，之前该作因找不到发行商险些夭折。

　　新南威尔士娱乐媒体基金（New South Wales' Interactive Media Fund）为KMM提供了20万美元的资金。而负责这笔资金周转的 政府组织Screen NSW常年负责为悉尼周边的电影活动筹集资金。

Whore of the Orient leaked gameplay footage revealed

VideoGamer.com has acquired the first ever gameplay footage of Team Bondi's troubled next-gen project Whore of the Orient.

The exclusive footage, supplied to us by a trusted source, offers a first look at the lead character, combat, gunplay and city of the open-world action title, which previous publisher Warner Bros. is rumoured to have dropped in late 2012.

Team Bondi previously developed Rockstar Games' detective thriller L.A. Noire, and is thought to have been acquired by Australian production company Kennedy Miller Mitchell in 2011.

The Australian government granted $200,000 to the project in June following alleged lay-offs at the development team earlier this year. KMM is still thought to be seeking a publisher to back the project.

Brendan McNamara, writer and director of Whore of the Orient, has previously described the title as "one of the great untold stories of the 20th century".

《黑色洛城》团队 Team Bondi 新作《东方荡妇》确认已中止开发

　　根据 Eurogamer.net 网站报导，由《黑色洛城（LA Noire）》团队 Team Bondi 开发的新作《东方荡妇（Whore of the Orient）》，前制作人 Derek Proud 透露该项目已经中止开发。



　　《东方荡妇》是款以 1930 年代列强势力明争暗斗的魔都「上海」为背景的游戏，是 2011 年发行的《黑色洛城》的精神续作，预定采用相同的技术来呈现细腻的演出。 Derek Proud 表示，1930 年代的上海是当时唯一一处即使没有护照的人都能随意进出的地方，因此许多有所图的人都来到上海，整个城市被青帮老大杜月笙所掌控，可以说是个极具吸引力的时代、地点与背景。

　　Derek Proud 透露，当初他与工作室负责人 Brendan McNamara、首席设计师 Alex Carlyle、总经理 Vicky Lord 与项目制作人 Naresh Hirani 共同为《东方荡妇》的存续奋战，这是个让他们所有人投注热情的项目，不过到头来却徒劳无功。

　　事实上早在 2013 年 4 月，就传出 Team Bondi 员工遭资遣、开发计划暂停，出资发行商华纳兄弟互动娱乐（Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment）退出游戏发行计划的消息。 在经过 3 年多的沉寂之后，终于由前制作人口中确认这款游戏已经中止开发，暂时无缘问市的消息
