anyone give your suggestion about the factor....
my question is what factor should be considered when developing inventory systems for 10000 items...
thank you....because i need to do my assignment...but dont know the answer...
i search that topic on google...but there is no answer for me...

comprehensiveness and deployment, features of inventory system, durability of the system, utility across the supply chain are the factor as the question ask??
those factors that u written for me is your own opinion?? or search on internet??

i need to pass up on Tuesday, so i dont have time to consult lec already...
could i ask u one more question which is what are the key differences between items that would affect how their inventory is managed??
for example, how should prescription drugs be handled different from over the country items??or how do seasonal products differ from more stable product??
i dont know this question asking about....

    thats the durability of the goods~
bcoz some goods have shorter period of life, where the expiry date is available, they will probably need a different handling method
u cannot mix them together
its like drugs must use FIFO method so that the company will not incurred much losses after expiry date
and the estimation about the quantity of drugs purchased has to be more accurate to reduce unnecessary expenses
goods like plastic chairs and so on, they most probably can be stored so the managers might decide to purchase more when the price is low and sell when the price went high

    FIFO=first in first out method
which means the goods that came in 1st must be sold 1st
im not sure have u learn bout this...
is this accounting university year 1 question??
