Ubisoft Announces Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands; Legendary Military Shooter Frnachise Goes Open World

Today, at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), Ubisoft announced the development of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands, a new entry in the acclaimed Ghost Recon series and the franchise's first open world title. Ghost Recon: Wildlands is scheduled to be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.

Development on Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands is being led by Ubisoft Paris in collaboration with five other Ubisoft studios.

Set a few years from now, Ghost Recon: Wildlands lets players lead a team of Ghosts, a four-player U.S. Elite Special Operations unit, on a covert mission to eliminate the Santa Blanca drug cartel, an underworld power and growing global threat within Ubisoft's imagining of an incredibly beautiful, yet dangerous Bolivia. Ghost Recon: Wildlands takes place in the largest and most diverse action-adventure open world Ubisoft has created to date. With hundreds of villages and well-known landmarks, local legends and various factions and regions, players venture into a vast world with which to interact and explore. The Ghosts' upgradable skills, along with a vast arsenal of weapons, vehicles and drones, will help them take down their almighty enemy.

　　育碧公布了《火线猎杀：Wildlands》的制作人访谈第三弹，此次出镜的是游戏的首席设计师Dominic Butler和资深开发者Nouredine Abboud，他们回答了粉丝们提出的诸多问题。

　　《火线猎杀：Wildlands》的开发已经经过了三年的时间，作为一款开放世界开放玩法的游戏，玩家可以以不同的方式完成同一个任务，任务开始的时间、装备都可以自由搭配，正面进攻、夜晚突袭、潜行暗杀、重火力压制等战术的选择也体现了本作的策略性。与系列作品一样，玩家将组成四人小队进行作战，如果是单人游戏则由3个AI进行辅助，当然也可以四人合作进行游戏。游戏中的AI不仅是会傻傻的进攻，它们会利用掩体、使用载具协助玩家进攻，当然敌人也同样聪明，需要小心应对。

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands Returns With a Brand New Trailer

Today, Ubisoft kicked off its E3 festivities with a brand new trailer for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands, the latest in the best-selling Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon franchise, and unveiled the pre-order details on Xbox One, PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system and Windows PC.

Developed by Ubisoft Paris, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands is the first military shooter set in a massive and responsive open-world, entirely playable in single-player or up to four-player co-op. Players will discover Bolivia a few years from now, a country transformed by the vicious Santa Blanca drug cartel into a narco-state.

Sent behind enemy lines, the Ghosts will have to cripple the Santa Blanca cartel’s operation, breaking alliances between the drug lords and the corrupt government, and saving the Bolivian population from the cruelty of El Sueño, Santa Blanca’s ruthless leader. To do so, players will have total freedom of choice to complete missions how they choose and watch as the world reacts to their actions.

“As part of the Tom Clancy franchise, authenticity is one of the key pillars which will bring the Wildlands to life in our latest instalment in the franchise,” said Eric Couzian, Creative Director on Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. “Our goal has been to build the Ghosts as credible Spec Ops, so players have a range of options in facing not only the deadly cartels, but also the roughness of the multifaceted Bolivian landscape. Furthermore, Ubisoft has also announced that the following premium editions are available for pre-order now, in addition to the standard game:

• The Deluxe Edition, available at GAME, contains the Standard Edition and the digital Deluxe Pack, which includes: the Huntsman rifle and motorbike, 3 emblems, 3 weapon camos, 3 character customisation items, and an XP booster. The physical version of The Deluxe Edition will also include 2 extra physical items: an in-game map of Bolivia and the original soundtrack of the game.

• The Gold Edition, available at Amazon, includes the Season Pass, giving players access to two major expansions, as well as exclusive digital content such as equipment packs, an exclusive vehicle, epic weapons, and the digital Deluxe Pack.

• The Calavera Collector’s Case, exclusive to the Uplay Shop, includes all the equipment needed to operate as a Ghost deep inside the Bolivian wildlands to take down the vicious Santa Blanca cartel. This includes the Gold Edition alongside the Ghost’s Audio Headset replica, a fully functional headset for PlayStation 4, Xbox One* and PC. Overview

Bolivia, a few years from now: this beautiful South American country has become the largest cocaine producer in the world. The influential and vicious Santa Blanca drug cartel has turned the country into a narco-state, leading to lawlessness, fear, injustice, and violence. The cartel is on track to becoming a major underworld power and global threat.

An all-out war is not the answer. A surgical, stealthy, lethal approach is the only way to stop the disease at its source. 　　由于本作使用了开放式的游戏世界，让玩家不仅可以自行选择要在地图上的何处进行任务，同时也能够自由决定如何攻破敌人据点。

　　在这次体验的一开始，可以观察到敌人位置由多名守卫巡逻把关，周遭也有高塔等置高点防止侵略，因此负责带领媒体游玩的官方人员便将小队拆成两族人马分别行动，一组取得高塔的控制权，另一组则从防守较薄弱的地方进攻。

　　游玩过程中相当需要团队成员之间彼此沟通与合作，像是一起放倒两名守卫的时机点若是有抓好，便不会引起敌方的警戒。 此外制高点小组的成员如能以狙击枪协助下方正面进攻的小队，也能让任务更加顺利的进行。

　　本作中的许多的载具如汽、机车与直升机均可协助玩家快速追捕敌人或进行隐密的移动，此外玩家也能呼叫无人机进行快速的侦查，避免不必要的冲突。 整体来说，《火线猎杀：野境》提供了如同电影体验般的高难度任务，玩家必须运用手边与周遭的一切资源，再与队员们紧密配合才能完美完成任务，对于想要体验菁英小组在战场中协同作战体验的玩家来说应该会颇具吸引力。

　　在今2016科隆游戏展上，育碧公开了《火线猎杀：野境》(Ghost Recon: Wildlands)的角色武器预告片。《火线猎杀：野境》的角色武器预告片中，展示了角色的DIY装扮与各个武器的可选部分。

　　《火线猎杀：野境》作为一款开放世界游戏，暗杀将会成为这款游戏中的一个主要部分，玩家则能在游戏中成为一个真正的“幽灵”。游戏的故事场景被设定在玻利维亚，在那里“幽灵”们需要与一个贩毒团伙进行斗争。在这个预告片中我们可以看到风景秀丽、地形多样的玻利维亚，这片土地为玩家提供了充分的探索空间，相信能为玩家们带来别样的游戏体验。
