　　开发商 Iron Galaxy 宣布有他们开发的动作游戏《灭绝》将会在 2018 年登陆 XBOX ONE、PS4 以及 PC 平台。

开发商描述《灭绝》：

　　“人类从诞生伊始，就一直处在战争的状态中。几个时代以来，各个王国之间不停地互相战斗但殊不知真正的威胁却躲在阴影里。相传这些身高150英尺(45米左右)的嗜血怪物曾一度威胁要彻底毁灭人类这个种族，而现在他们回来了。在人类之中，只有那些接受了远古秘术训练的人才有能和这些怪物一战之力。你(玩家)作为世界上唯一的守卫中的一员(Sentinel)，将扮演一位名叫Avil的战士来迎战怪物的入侵。”

　　看完了什么感觉，是不是特别像《进击的巨人》?飞来飞去砍巨型怪物，而且只有砍头才能够彻底消灭怪物的设定简直是太像了。根据开发商的声明，《灭绝》将会为玩家们提供富有深度的主线剧情任务、动态支线任务、非常考验玩家技巧的战斗系统、场景互动、多样的战斗场景甚至还能够允许玩家自定义战斗模式与环境。

　　《灭绝》售价59.99美元，并且将会在今年E3正式公开实机片段。

Legend calls them the Ravenii, encroaching armies of bloodthirsty monsters that once threatened to destroy humankind. Now, the threat has returned. Iron Galaxy and Maximum Games are proud to announce their thrilling, fast-paced action game – Extinction.

As far back as anyone can remember, humanity has been at war with itself. For generations, kingdoms have fought amongst themselves while the real threat loomed in the distance. Only those trained in the ways of the ancient order stand a chance at defeating the 150-foot-tall ogres and the armies that trail in their wake. You are one of the world’s last Sentinels, a soldier named Avil, equipped with the skills to battle the endless waves of Ravenii

In Extinction, you’ll fight massive ogres and their minions across a sprawling countryside, defending cities and rescuing native villagers torn from their homes. Swiftly define your strategy as hordes attack from the ground and air. Use the dynamic skill-based combat system to tactically disarm and dismember enemies before going in for the kill.

“Extinction is absolutely relentless,” said Kraig Kujawa, Game Director at Iron Galaxy. “We’re really happy with the fast, fluid feel of the game and we’re looking forward to showing it behind closed doors at E3.”

“As the protagonist tasked with a huge undertaking - both in fighting enormous ogres and saving humans from disaster - each player’s experience will be varied, as the landscapes and battle situations are never identical,” said Derek Neal, Executive Producer at Maximum Games.

Maximum Games and Iron Galaxy Studios have released the first gameplay trailer for Extinction, their June-announced action game where players fight against 150 foot-tall ogres.

Here’s a brief overview of the game, via Maximum Games:

Only you have the power to save humankind.

They are known as Ravenii – waves of massively destructive ogres wiping out everything in their path: cities and the innocent civilians that inhabit them. As the last trained Sentinel and the only one capable of diffusing the endless hordes of Ravenii, you must use your inherent power to defeat the ogres and their minions before time runs out.

Sprint across rooftops, alongside buildings and through crumbling villages ravaged by the encroaching army, using speed and strategy to save humanity from these immense monsters, each equipped with various types of weapons and armor.

The fate of humankind is in your hands. Extinction is not an option.

Extinction is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in early 2018.

Extinction Launches on April 10 ~ PS4, Xbox One & PC



Extinction Smashes Its Way to Stores on April 10th, 2018

Originally announced in June of 2017 and followed by a strong showing at E3, Iron Galaxy and Modus Games are excited to announce the release date for Extinction. Prepare to save humanity from the formidable Ravenii on April 10th, 2018.

Pre-orders are available now for the standard and deluxe editions of Extinction. The standard edition is available for ￡54.99 and the Deluxe Edition, which includes the ‘Days of Dolorum’ season pass, is available for ￡64.99. Digital pre-orders will be available in early February. Players who want the season pass at a later date can purchase it for ￡12.99.







In Extinction, players take on the role of the hero, Avil. The last of the legendary Sentinels – the only warriors capable of toppling the Ravenii – he is all that stands between the towering ogres and the survival of the human race. Featuring insane skill-based combat that’s not for the squeamish, you’ll have to traverse the environment with precision while executing devastating attacks on your enemies. Use your whip to launch Avil into the air while dispatching a full-scale assault on monstrous beasts who want nothing more than to decimate you and your world. Annihilate all that stands between you and rescuing the people of Dolorum from extinction.

Extinction will be available on PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and PC on April 10, 2018.

　　Maximum Games 和 Iron Galaxy 工作室日前公布了游戏一段剧情预告，展示了游戏的剧情背景和实机战斗画面。

　　从相关介绍中，可以看出这部游戏与光荣旗下的《进击的巨人》的设定非常类似，都是人类王国面临巨型怪物的入侵，不同的仅是这里表现的是巨型兽人怪。

　　在战斗系统方面，游戏中玩家扮演的角色Avil可以进行非常灵活的水平和垂直移动，动作招式非常灵活。在与巨型兽人战斗时则需要通过策略来解除敌人武器，肢解敌人赢得战斗。

　　玩家将扮演名为 Avil 的士兵，拥有与可怕怪物军团战斗的技术，玩家要保卫城市并拯救流离失所的难民。 玩家在游戏中必须迅速拟定对策，面对敌人从地面和空中的攻击，并善用灵活作战技巧来斩断对方手脚、杀戮敌人。
