　　《钢弹创坏者》是 2013 年问世、以钢弹模型对战为主题的动作游戏系列，前后共推出 3 代。 游戏中玩家将操作不同比例尺的钢弹模型，在等形形色色的情境模型舞台中展开激烈战斗。 收录上百种钢弹模型，可以收集各式各样的零件来组装出属于自己的独特机体，能有上百亿种组合。

Bandai Namco has announced New Gundam Breaker for PlayStation 4. It will launch in Japan, as well as in Southeast Asia with English subtitles, in 2018.

New Gundam Breaker runs on Unreal Engine 4 and is the first new entry in the Gundam Breaker series since Gundam Breaker 3 in March 2016. It will see players “breaking” enemy Gunpla, “collecting” their parts, and using those collected parts to “build” their own Gundam to fight with. It features completely new game content, including a “real-time customization battle” system that will enable players to replace parts even during battle. Gunplas are built upon frames, and can perform actions even if their leg parts are destroyed.

More information about New Gundam Breaker will be announced during a game introduction broadcast on January 28 at 17:00 JST. Details will be announced on the game’s official website and Twitter account.

   

   

Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed a release in Southeast Asia with English subtitles in 2018. Also Bandai Namco Entertainment has confirmed a release in the Americas and Europe in 2018.

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has new details on the newly announced New Gundam Breaker for PlayStation 4.

Highlights from the magazine include:

• Real-Time Customization Battles – By defeating enemies, you can re-customize your Gunpla mid-battle with the parts dropped by those enemies. For example, you can plunder Den’an Zon’s legs.
• Team Match Co-Op Battles – Clear objectives within the time limit in three-versus-three team match battles. There is also a single-player mode.
• New Battlefields – There will be new stages.
• New Heroine – There is a new heroine named Shakuno Rinko (voiced by Ari Ozawa).
• Development is currently 60 percent complete.

■ What is Gundam Breaker?

• An action game and the only Gundam game based on “Gunpla”
• (Gundam plastic models).
• By defeating enemies, stealing and gathering up their Gunpla parts, and customizing your very own Mobile Suit, you can create the strongest Gundam all your own.
• Many Gunpla battlefields are being prepared. Battles will even unfold atop a desk.
• There are even situations where 1/60 size giant enemy Gundam appear. Players will be able to enjoy battles where there is a considerable difference in scale.
  

■ New Point #1: Real-Time Customization Battles

In New Gundam Breaker, the parts you steal from enemies can be equipped right then and there. Evolve into a stronger Gunpla while you are fighting! Of course, you can also more deliberately equip customization parts at the end of a battle.

—If you destroy an enemy Gunpla, they will drop their parts. Be sure to pick up the parts you want to collect.



—If you select the parts you want to equip, you can equip them instantaneously. (In the screenshot, the Gundam’s leg parts were changed to Den’an Zon’s leg parts.)



■ New Point #2: Team Match Co-Op Battles

The basic battles of New Gundam Breaker are three-on-three team co-op matches. The rules are simple: your team must try to earn the highest score within the time limit to win. Of course, you can also play single-player.

—You team can score by clearing the objective.

　　在台北电玩展高达舞台活动上，作为惊喜公开了《机动战士钢弹 战斗行动2》的BETA测试消息。本作预定在2018年春于PSN日服、港服、台服展开测试，而自1月29日至2月14日期间会募集参与玩家，所有报名的人都可以参与。

　　《机动战士钢弹 战斗行动2》与前作一样是一款基本免费+道具收费的PS4网络对战游戏，最大支持6v6的对抗，游戏的一大特色就是除了驾驶高达对战外，驾驶员还可以走出来单独行动。而新作中会加入宇宙的场景，并且会有一个新的用于玩家间相互交流的营地。

　　这款作品的前作网络联机质量一直为人诟病，就连现场嘉宾小野坂昌也和小西克幸都表示他们都连不上服务器。制作人也表示这次一定会努力改善，保证不会有问题。

   

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 Japanese beta set for spring

Bandai Namco will host a beta for Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 in Japan this spring, the company announced.

Registration for the beta will be available from January 29 at 14:00 JST until February 14 via the game’s official website.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation 2 is a team battle action game due out for PlayStation 4 as a free-to-play title in Japan in 2018.

　　《新 钢弹创坏者》基本上继承了系列一贯的特色，以破坏、收集、自由创造专属机体为主要的卖点。

　　而这次最主要的变化有两点，其一就是“自订即时对战”系统，玩家在战场上捡到的部件可以立刻装备到身上。

　　另外就是全新的团队共斗玩法。这次采用了3v3的对战规则，战斗中会有各种各样的“任务”存在，包含直接击倒对方机体，或是打倒第三方势力等，这些任务会突然出现。只要完成任务就可以获得积分，在时限内积分较多的一方将会获胜。

　　本作还采用了全新的世界观。故事剧情会发生在一所名叫私立钢创学园的地方。这里培养制作钢普拉和用钢普拉进行战斗的专门人才。

　　女主角名叫御神乐唯(CV：东山奈央)，她比主角年长，是主角的青梅竹马。

　　两名作为对手登场的角色，也就是反派分别由小野坂昌也和小西克幸饰演，两位声优也亲临台北电玩展现场与大家见面。

　　最后制作人表示目前游戏还在开发当中，预定在2018年内发售，而自2月起会陆续公开新情报，请大家期待。

New Gundam Breaker has all playable Mobile Suits from previous games and more, but no SD Gundams

The latest issue of Weekly Famitsu has an interview with the developers of New Gundam Breaker, which provides a mix of new and old information.

Get the notable tidbits below.

• Each individual part has an EX Skill, which is unlocked by leveling up. For example, ZZ Gundam’s head part has High Mega Cannon, Gundam’s legs have Burst Breaker, etc.
• The Gundam Breaker series is really popular in Asia, and has the highest sales in the continent among modern Gundam games. Now, it is being released worldwide, including North America and Europe.
• There is a distinction between the battles and matches of Gundam Breaker and those of other Gundam games. Simply put, it feels more like an athletic meet where you compete for points.
• There are three-versus-three team battles. You compete to win with the points you get for completing the missions that occur during battle. Mission contents consist of various things such as, “Destroy [X] many units of the third force,” “Destroy [X] containers,” and “Defeat the huge Mobile Armor.”
• There are also missions to defeat the enemy team.
• There will be a single-player story mode that surpasses the volume of any of the previous Gundam Breaker games. The atmosphere is not serious like Gundam Breaker 2, it rather emulates the soft tone of Gundam Breaker 3.
• There is no function where parts that are attacked and disconnected automatically return.
• By throwing away the parts you obtained, your allies can pick them up.
• Like previous titles, parts do not tend to accumulate.
• Builders Parts will also appear.
• Since you can change parts in battle, you may return from battle with a different Gunpla than you started with.
• SD Gundams will not appear, but all of the playable Mobile Suits from previous Gundam Breaker games will appear. New Mobile Suits will also appear.
• Downloadable content is being considered, but that is not to say only Mobile Suits will be offered as paid content.
• The director is Craft & Meister’s Daisuke Fukukawa.

Sunrise announced a new Gundam animated series today called Gundam Build Divers, which debuts a new Mobile Suit called Gundam AGE II Magnum.

Bandai Namco was present at the announcement event to confirm that Gundam AGE II Magnum will be playable in the upcoming New Gundam Breaker for PlayStation 4, and that “The Gundam Base Tokyo,” a real Gundam-themed store in Tokyo, will appear as a playable stage.

Bandai Namco has released new information and screenshots on New Gundam Breaker introducing real-time customization battles, the Gunbre High School setting, and more.

■ Real-Time Customization Battles

In previous entries in the Gundam Breaker series, Gunpla parts you steal from enemies were attached during customization parts after a battle ends, but in New Gundam Breaker you can change equipment during battle. Get the parts you want and equip it on the spot!

—If you destroy an enemy Gunpla, they will drop their parts! And if you pick them up…



—Parts will stock up at the bottom of the screen.



—If you select the part you want, you can equip it instantly. (Here, the Gundam’s head part becomes Zaku II’s head part.)



The Scramble for Parts is a Scramble for Skills

Since every Gunpla part has an EX Skill in New Gundam Breaker, with the head, torso, arms, legs, backpack, and shield equipped, you can have a “maximum of six” EX Skills in battle. During battle, the EX Skills you can use will unlock as you level up.

—The lower right of the screen shows the EX Skills you can use, and the head, torso, arms, legs, backpack, and shield each have an EX Skill.



—Each time you level up, a lock is opened and an EX Skill becomes available. Start work on raising your level early on in the battle by defeating enemies.

■ Gunbre High School

The setting of New Gundam Breaker is an academy involved in the large-scale university town plan aimed at fostering talent specialized in Gunpla production and battle. As the protagonist who transfers to Gunbre High School, you are expected to live a school life to master the art of Gunpla, but gradually get dragged into trouble in a school full of unique students.

Once a member of the student council, she is kind to everyone and popular in the minds of the students. Her brave behavior can be somewhat unreasonable at times, and she also has a frail side that relies on the protagonist, who is her childhood friend.

He is narccisistic and toots his own horn, but is not so firm against those stronger than himself.

　　所谓的实时换装战斗，就是在战斗中可以从被破坏的钢弹模型身上取得零件，并且当场直接换装使用的战斗系统。 因为本作的钢弹模型零件在头、身体、手腕、脚部、背包和盾牌，都有分别设定等同于必杀技的 EX 技能，所以在战斗中取得敌方强悍钢弹模型的零件，并且当场换装上去，就能够增加自己在战场上的优势。

New Gundam Breaker adds Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex, Gundam Bael, and Gundam Kimaris Vidar

Gundam Barbatos Lupus Rex, Gundam Bael, and Gundam Kimaris Vidar from Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans will appear as playable Gunpla in New Gundam Breaker, the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu reveals.

The magazine also has details on two new systems:

Inner Frame – Choose your favorite among inner frames with different characteristics, and combine that with various parts to make your Gunpla. There are five types of inner frames: “Balance,” “Striker,” “Gunner,” “Enchant,” and “Search.” Each has different EX Skills.

Awakening – In New Gundam Breaker, you can replace Gunpla parts in real-time during battle, and in cases where your Gunpla composition changes between when you first begin and when you end, you can return to your original Gunpla composition through an “Awakening.”
