　　《中土世界 战争之影》的开发商 Monolith 工作室正式宣布，本作将会有微交易商店系统存在。

　　在本作中 微交易商店的名字叫做“市场”。就像官方解释的那样，玩家在市场中能够购买宝箱、经验药水以及其他游戏内可用的增益物品。同时你需要链接网络才能够使用这一功能。

　　“在新作中复仇系统的重要一环就是不断地打造和改造玩家自己的兽人部队来对抗摩多。达到这个目的的方法很多，你可以选择在游戏中通过完成任务来获取资源，征服兽人;也可以直接通过微交易的道具来达到这个目的。“Monolith这么说道。

　　Monolith 之后又重点强调，玩家氪金购买的所有道具，都可以通过在游戏中通过游戏内货币获取，氪金也只是提高了玩家提升等级和实力的速度而已。在平衡性上构不成问题，况且增加氪金内容已经是趋势了，Monolith 不这么做反而奇怪。

Middle-earth: Shadow of War - Introducing the Market

The innovative Nemesis System created unique personal stories through procedurally-generated enemies who remember every encounter and are differentiated by their personality, strengths and weaknesses. Middle-earth: Shadow of War expands this innovation with the introduction of followers who bring about entirely new stories of loyalty, betrayal and revenge. The Nemesis System is also expanded to create a unique personal world through Nemesis fortresses, which allows players to utilize different strategies to conquer dynamic strongholds and create personalized worlds with their unique Orc army.

An important aspect of the Nemesis System now comes in forging, customizing and leading your own army of unique Orc followers against the fortresses of Mordor. There are different ways to do this, including dominating Orcs by exploring the vast open-world and encountering them as part of Orc society, or players can acquire Orcs and other items through the Market (in-game store).

Through the Market, players can purchase Loot Chests, War Chests, XP Boosts and Bundles (accessed only with an internet connection).

• Loot Chests contain Gear (weapons and armor) of varying rarity. Equipping and upgrading these weapons and armor enhance Talion’s character abilities. Loot Chests can also contain XP Boosts that help level up Talion faster.

• War Chests provide Orc followers of varying rarity to help forge a strong army. They can also contain Training Orders to level up and customize Orc followers.

• XP Boosts are consumables that help level up Talion faster.

• Bundles package up Loot Chests, War Chests and Boosts together at a great value.



To purchase these items, players can spend Mirian or Gold throughout the game as one progresses. Mirian is a type of in-game currency that can be acquired by:

• Defeating Treasure Orcs
• Destroying Gear for Mirian
• Destroying Orc followers for Gear (which can be destroyed for Mirian)
• Finding Mirian stashes throughout the game

Gold is another form of in-game currency that can be used to get higher level Loot Chests, War Chests, Boosts and Bundles of the aforementioned content. Gold can be acquired by:

• Purchasing through the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store or by adding to your Steam Wallet using real money.
• Awarded in small amounts at specific milestones.
• Awarded for participating in community challenges.

Please note: No content in the game is gated by Gold. All content can be acquired naturally through normal gameplay.

Shadow of War's endgame sounds a lot beefier than Shadow of Mordor's

　　《中土世界 战争之影》的开发商 Monolith 工作室宣布，本作主线剧情完结后将会有“暗影战争”模式。

　　这类似于一个迷你版的战役，玩家们在剧情中会占领索伦的城堡，并随之征服整个魔多，而在剧情结束后，索伦的大军并不会罢休，而是会不断进行进攻，并试图将这些城堡夺回。并且这些进攻将会分为不同的阶段，一些地区受到的进攻将会比其他地区更为严峻。

　　一旦玩家们失去堡垒，那么玩家必须夺回这些堡垒，才能进入“暗影战争”的下一个阶段。只有完成整个“暗影战争”之后，玩家们才能看到“真正的结局”，而这背后的故事可能会将《中土世界》系列和《指环王》里的故事联系起来。

Effectively a mini campaign, it takes place after the game's story is concluded and players have conquered all of Mordor. In the Shadow Wars, Sauron's army launches a counter assault against Talion, attacking different regions and attempting to take back those hard-won fortresses. These assaults are split into various stages, with more regions coming under attack from progressively harder enemies in each stage.

In terms of the actual gameplay, Shadow Wars basically takes the fortress assaults that form such a large part of Shadow of War and swaps the sides, asking you to hold various capture points until all the attacking warchiefs have been killed or otherwise conquered. If you succeed, the fortress will remain yours. Fail, however, and it will revert back to Sauron's control. You'll need to retake it in order to advance to the next stage and, what's more, you may need to mount a rescue mission to save the orc follower you installed in the fortress as Overlord.

Once the Shadow Wars have been concluded, players will get to see the game's true ending, which supposedly ties the events of Shadow of War directly into Lord of the Rings. Will we get to see the Fellowship of the Ring embark on their quest? Time will tell.

Either way, Shadow Wars looks fairly substantial and is clearly aimed at addressing the criticism Shadow of Mordor received for having a weak endgame. If you want to see some Shadow Wars gameplay in action, have a look at the video below.

Microsoft also announced it will release a Middle-earth: Shadow of War Xbox One S bundle alongside the launch of the game. It will include an Xbox One S with either a 500 gigabyte or one terabyte hard drive, a copy of the game with bonus in-game items “Legendary Champions War Party” and the “Epic Sword of Dominion,” a wireless controller, a one-month subscription to Xbox Game Pass, and 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today released a new trailer for Middle-earth: Shadow of War, spotlighting some examples of the unique personal stories that can be created through the expanded Nemesis System. In Shadow of War, players now have entirely new ways to experience the dynamic world, with more choices and opportunities than ever before due to addition of Orc Followers. Whether spared, scarred, recruited or marked, every encounter will be remembered and help fuel the dynamics of society and conflict within Mordor, all brought to life through the innovative Nemesis System.

Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an open world action RPG that continues the original narrative of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. A legend among the Orcs of Mordor, Forthog Orcslayer is an unstoppable warrior who saves Mordor’s mightiest heroes at their moment of greatest need.

Mike “Forthog” Forgey was our Executive Producer and great friend here at Monolith. He was always ready to leap into the fray and save the game whenever and wherever he was most needed. We lost Mike to cancer during the development of Shadow of War, and we want to remember and honor him with a little bit of immortality in Mordor. The legendary Forthog Orcslayer is our way to continue having Mike leap into battle and save us when we’re down.

We hope that you will share in the experience of being saved by the legendary Forthog Orcslayer as you enter the land of shadow.
