Gust and Toei Animation announce Kakuchou Shoujokei Trinary for smartphones
According to Famitsu, for this project it’s not that the anime or the game is a spin-off—they are both are absolutely essential and form one product. Kakuchou Shoujokei Trinary isn’t about making a game with an anime that highlights its important parts. It’s about carrying out deep communication between the player and the girls within the game, and the main story advances through the anime.
You can enjoy the story of the fighting girls just by watching the anime via the app when it’s released each week, but you can empathize much more deeply with them by experiencing the honesty and inner thoughts they share in the game.
The story sees a huge cocoon, called the “Phenomenon,” appear in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Those captured by the cocoon go mad and start killing each other. Annoyed by the Phenomena appearing in various places, the government puts together a special force called the “Extended Girls Trinary” to combat the Phenomenon.
The list of characters includes:
- Tsubame Ouse (voiced by Mariko Takeda) – 15 years old. A spontaneous girl who is always lively and smiling.
- Ayami Kunimasa (voiced by Mitsuki Nakae) – 21 years old. A former kendo girl and the first Trinary.
- Gabriela Rotalinska (voiced by Yuki Yagi) – 14 years old. A shooting expert who hates to lose.
- Kagura Uzuki (voiced by Emi Hirayama) – 15 years old. A heart-deceiving devil girl and otaku who loves magical girls.
- Miyabi Koigasaki (voiced by Ami Hagihara) – 17 years old. A miraculous prodigy hacker who speaks in Tosa dialect.
The following designers are also participating in the project:
- Mine Yoshizaki
- Ryou Nagi
- Mutsumi Inomata
- Kei
- Shirakaba
- Shiromi Sakana
- Choboraunyopomi
- Namori
- Yuji Himukai
- Mamo Williams
- Beruno Mikawa
- Mota
- Yoshiku
In addition to screenshots of adventure parts and battle parts, there are also images an LINE-like tool within the app that lets you interact with the girls or take them on dates through the smartphone.
In a comment, project lead Akira Tsuchiya said, “This work is something never before attempted, where you can intervene in the intermission of the story depicted in the anime, and interact with the fighting girls.”
Development is currently 80 percent complete. |
