Free-to-play Paragon getting $60 retail release
MOBA 新作《典范 Paragon》28 日欧美公测 曝光 PS4 精华版影片

　　Epic Games 研发 PC / PS4 多人在线战斗竞技游戏《典范（暂译，Paragon）》将于 4 月 28 日至 5 月 1 日在海外展开首波公测。

　　Epic Games 表示，第一波公测结束后，预定 5 月 5 日至 5 月 8 日展开第二波公测，测试平台包含 PC 与 PS4 平台，主要目的是为了进行服务器的压力测试。 届时想要参与公测的玩家需要到 Epic Games 官网下载 Epic 游戏启动器，PS4 版玩家则必须将账号与 PSN 账号相链接。

　　《典范》是款第三人称视点的战斗竞技游戏，结合枪兵、刺客、机械兵等职业，五对五玩家将以塔防玩法来分队对抗，游戏采用 Unreal Engine 4 来研发。

　　Epic Games 同时宣布，将于 6 月 7 日在实体通路推出 PS4 《典范》精华版，强调内容物价值超过 160 美元，包含价值 60 美元游戏虚拟货币、4 个立刻解锁的英雄造型、精华版独家造型等，售价 60 美元。

   

Paragon Essentials Edition Hits Stores June 7

We’ve been working on a special retail edition of our new MOBA, Paragon — called the Paragon Essentials Edition. The Essentials Edition includes everything you need to start killing me on the battlefields of Agora, including a launch-exclusive Wasteland Twinblast skin.

We put together the Essentials Edition so that even if you’ve already bought a Founder’s Pack, you’ll still find the Essentials Edition an awesome deal when it hits stores on June 7.

The Paragon Essentials Edition includes

• 6,000 Paragon Coins (worth $60).
• In-game currency to spend on additional Master Challenges, skins, boosts, and other items that I’ll see as you stand over my corpse.
• Five Hero Master Challenges.
• Each Master Challenge immediately grants a Challenger skin and permanent XP boost, plus unlocks unique rewards as you play, including a taunt (that you’ll use on me) and the Master skin.
• Includes Master Challenges for Twinblast, Sevarog, Iggy & Scorch, and two soon-to-be-announced Heroes.
• Five Skins, including the launch-exclusive Wasteland Twinblast skin.
• For now, you can only get the Wasteland Twinblast skin in the Essentials Edition.
• Five Rep Boosts (each lasts for three wins).
• Rep boosts speed up how quickly you earn Rep, which you can spend on card packs, Master Challenges, and more.

If you play a lot of Paragon, the 6,000 Paragon Coins is worth it by itself. The whole Essentials Edition is more than $160 in value (based on in-game currency) for only $59.99.

For those of you who pre-order the Essentials Edition, you’ll get an extra 1,000 Paragon Coins upon pickup, which you can use to buy more Master Challenges, skins, and boosts.

Paragon New Hero Revealed ~ GRIM.exe

   

New Hero Reveal: GRIM.exe

We'd like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this Ranger... GRIM.exe. GRIM, the imp, controls his sentry combat robot who executes his every command. Get your first look at GRIM.exe below. You'll be able to play GRIM.exe as part of our update on Tuesday, May 10.

The TL;DR on GRIM.exe is that he uses his battle unit to attack at range. His pulse cannon features a passive with bonus damage every eight seconds. His other abilities allow GRIM.exe to shield himself, slow enemies or knock them back. His Gyro Targeted Force Orb ultimate homes to a target while passing through objects and non-Hero units.

As always, all Heroes in Paragon are free, so if you're in Early Access you'll be able to jump in as GRIM.exe and battle responsibly on Tuesday. If you're not in Early Access yet, you can pick up a Founder's Pack to get into the action. See you on the battlefield!

Paragon New Hero Revealed ~ Riktor

   

New Paragon Hero Reveal: Riktor

We’d like to introduce you to the latest Hero. We call this Support Tank … Riktor. He’s a cyborg with serious reach. Get your first look at Riktor below. You’ll be able to play Riktor as part of our update on Tuesday, May 31.

The TL;DR on Riktor is that he is a melee tank who specializes in crowd control. He's a powerful initiator who brings order to the battlefield by locking down targets and pacifying enemies. His Riplash ability reaches out with his electric chain and pulls in enemy Heroes and/or minions while dealing damage. His Shock Therapy disrupts enemies by silencing them and his Skewer Ultimate uses a web of chains to damage and stun everyone in his path.

As always, all Heroes in Paragon are free, so if you're in Early Access you'll be able to jump in as Riktor on Tuesday. If you're not in Early Access yet, you can pick up a Founder's Pack to get into the action. See you on the battlefield!

Epic Games' Paragon Enters Open Beta August 16, New Hero Announced
《典范 Paragon》野性战士「喀迈拉」现身 预定 6 月 21 日开放使用

　　Epic Games 制作，日前已在 PC 与 PS4 上开放抢先测试的 MOBA 游戏《典范 Paragon》，现释出新战士英雄角色「喀迈拉（Khaimera）」的发表宣传影片，预定 6 月 21 日正式开放。

　　《典范 Paragon》是由一手打造《魔域幻境》、《战争机器》系列的 Epic Games 制作的第三人称动作射击多人在线战斗竞技游戏。 游戏中玩家将选择各具特色的英雄，组队展开塔防对战。

　　本次官方揭露了即将于 6 月 21 日开放抢先测试玩家使用的新战士英雄角色「喀迈拉」，是名不依靠高科技武器、纯粹以野性与蛮力来取胜的原始部落战士，真面目隐藏在狰狞的野兽面具下。 先前官方已经开放的英雄角色共有 17 名，将以每 3 周加入 1 名新英雄的速度逐步增加。

   

   

Free Open beta, new Hero and major changes all heading to Paragon

Epic Games is happy to announce today that its forthcoming MOBA, Paragon will be moving into Free Open Beta on August 16 allowing even more PC and PlayStation 4 owners to join the battle for lane supremacy.

Ahead of this, on July 21, existing Early Access players will get a brand new Hero, Khaimera. This melee fighter is Paragon’s first duelist who specializes in disrupting team fights with close-up encounters. His Pounce leaps to a target enemy Hero, briefly stunning that Hero and dealing Physical Damage around him.

While engaged in fights, Khaimera’s Spirit Regeneration stacks more health regen with each basic attack. His Ultimate, Cull, deals a large amount of damage, both rooting and isolating a target from allies.

Finally, Epic today confirmed a number of big changes planned for Paragon, including an all-new Draft Mode, changes to gameplay, and more. Further details can be found in an in-depth blog found on Paragon's blog.
