Koei Tecmo Announces Relese Date for Upcoming Epic, A.O.T. 2

Today Koei Tecmo proudly revealed that A.O.T. 2 will be released on the 20th March 2018 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and digitally on Windows PC via Steam!

To celebrate the news Koei Tecmo shared an action-packed new trailer, giving a taste of the thrilling narrative players can come to expect from A.O.T. 2. In addition, they have unveiled new details on additional playable characters: Hitch Dreyse, Marlo Freudenberg, Mina Carolina, Nile Dawk, Thomas Wagner, Annie Leonhart, Bertholdt Hoover, Reiner Braun, the Armored Titan, the Colossal Titan, the Female Titan and a yet to be revealed Mystery Titan.

Players will be able to create their own custom Scout in A.O.T 2, an all-new addition to the series, offering a fresh perspective on the events of both seasons of the worldwide anime hit, ‘Attack on Titan’. With enhanced Titan movements, Scouts will have to strategically use a plethora of new abilities in order to survive; from evade-style attacks like the hook drive ability, to long-rage sneak attacks – carefully strategised with the help of the new monocular tool!

Additional RPG elements have been implemented into A.O.T. 2’s Town Life segments; allowing players to build relationships with their favourite characters from the Attack on Titan universe to gain a deeper understanding of their comrades.

Koei Tecmo has updated the official website for its upcoming Attack on Titan 2 game with information and screenshots of playable characters Jean Kirschtein, Conny Springer, Sasha Braus, Marco Bodt, and Daz, as well as more on character customization and town life, and casual outfits for previously detailed characters Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Annie Leonhart, Christa Lenz, Ymir, and Levi.

Jean Kirschtein (voiced by Kishou Taniyama)



A graduate of the 104th Cadet Corps wherein he graduated sixth of his year ranking below Eren. Hailing from the Trost District, he hopes to join the Military Police Regiment and earn the privilege of living in the Interior. While at the Cadet Corps, his belief that humanity cannot defeat the Titans constantly placed him at odds with Eren who fervently believed in the complete elimination of the Titans. Among the 104th, he is especially close to Marco who has a similar goal of joining the Military Police Regiment. While he is seen to be conceited and selfish at first, certain events will allow his skills as a leader to bloom.





Conny Springer (voiced by Hiro Shimono)



A graduate of the 104th Cadet Corps wherein he graduated eighth of his year ranking below Marco. Hailing from Ragako Village in the southern district of Wall Rose, he originally hoped to join the Military Police Regiment but this goal was soon shaken after coming into contact with Eren’s strong beliefs of eliminating the Titans. He is seen as the class clown and is a self-proclaimed “Natural”. However, despite having poor judgement and comprehension, he makes full use of his small frame by specializing in swift movements.



Sasha Braus (voiced by Yuusuke Kobayashi)



A graduate of the 104th Cadet Corps wherein she graduated ninth of her year ranking below Conny. Hailing from Dauper Village in the southern district of wall Rose, she mainly lived in the forest as hunter wherein she developed a sharp intuition akin to an animal. However, despite her valuable skills, she often has trouble working in groups. She constantly speaks in a polite manner even to her fellow Cadets and her unusual attachment to food typically leads her to break rules and regulations to obtain nourishment.



Marco Bodt (voiced by Ryouta Oosaka) (New Playable Character)



A graduate of the 104th Cadet Corps wherein he graduated seventh of his year ranking below Jean. Hailing from the town of Jinae in the southern district of Wall Rose, he hopes to join the Military Police Regiment and serve the under the King. Due to his tendency to focus on the larger strategy rather than his personal achievements, he is seen as a natural-born leader.



Daz (voiced by Shuuhei Takubo) (New Playable Character)



A graduate of the 104th Cadet Corps. Although he is typically servile, cowardly, and has a constant pessimistic attitude, he is a kind soldier at heart who always has his family in his thoughts. Despite volunteering to enter the Cadet Corps, his fear of fighting Titans never wavered.

Scout Missions

Scouts are able to take on scout missions from regiment officers. These missions are a good avenue for gaining EXP, regiment funds, and rare materials—ones you would not come across even in important missions.

Regiment Administration

Regiment Administration is a place where you can make proposals regarding regiment affairs. Proposed policies will remain in effect until you propose a new policy or return from a mission. R&D allows you to develop and upgrade bases for use in the field.

Interactions with Characters

The player will be able to deepen relationships with scout members such as Eren and Levi. You can enjoy side stories when you raise friendship levels to a certain extent.

当初入团时想要投身宪兵团，但受到艾连想要驱逐巨人的强烈信念影响，使得自己到最后都在犹豫该走的路。
爱自鸣得意，称自己是「天才」。 擅长活用其矮小的体格机敏行动，但脑袋不够灵光，理解力和判断力不高。

Keith Sadies (voiced by Tsuguo Mogami) (New Playable Character)



An instructor in the Cadet Corps who unsparingly trained the 104th Cadet Corps. He has a keen eye for talent and is able to accurately analyze the abilities of all who pass through the Cadet Corps.



Kitz Woermann (voiced by Tomoyuki Shimura) (New Playable Character)



A Captain of the Garrison Regiment who was assigned to the Trost District. Although he is generally a dedicated soldier, his timidy and nervousness leads him to declare Eren a threat after his ability to transform into a Titan was discovered. He attempts to have Eren killed due to his ability but was soon stopped by Pyxis.



Dot Pyxis (voiced by Masahiko Tanaka) (New Playable Character)



The Commander of the Garrison Regiment. Highly trusted by Premier Zachary, he was given full authority in defending humanity’s most vital lands in the southern territories. Although he displays remarkable adaptability and the qualities of a strong leader, his open-ended thinking that at times borders on the extreme earned him a reputation as a “natural eccentric”. This reputation is further complemented by his unrivaled love for a drink. It is well-known that he carries his flask everywhere, even while delivering commands on the front lines.



Dhalis Zachary (voiced by Hideaki Tezuka) (New Playable Character)



The Premier who holds supreme command over all three regiments: the Military Police, the Garrison, and the Scout Regiments. When Eren was brought in front of a special military tribunal for his ability to transform into a Titan, Zachary gave audience to the opinions of each regiment before passing the final judgement that would decide Eren’s fate- ultimately assigning him in the Scout Regiment.

Team Battle of Up to Four-versus-Four in Annihilation Mode!

The newly introduced competitive game type, Annihilation Mode, sees two teams of four Scouts compete to earn the highest score within a set time limit. Defeating the devastating Titans is one of the most important ways to earn these points, and working together is key to annihilating these foes as quickly and efficiently as possible.









—Chain Bonus

Tackling foes as a unit will earn the team a Chain Bonus, where higher scores will be offered through destroying each Titan body part before eliminating them. Team members can be identified by a blue line connecting them.



—Earn 2x Points

As a match draws to a climactic close, the stakes rise as in the last minute any points earnt are doubled. Within this time, it is of upmost priority for players to work closely and earn as many points as possible to come out in the lead!



—Communicate through Gestures and Messages

Interact with other players in the online lobby before battle. Familiar gestures, including the ‘dedicating your hearts’ gesture, and famous lines from the anime and manga are available.









Enjoy Co-op with Players Worldwide!

Online functionality isn’t only limited to competitive play. Players can take on missions co-operatively in Story Mode and Scout Missions with friends or other players around the world. Gathering a team of close allies during these modes allows players to experience the gripping events of A.O.T. 2’s narrative together, or players can offer help others that are struggling against the Titan threat.

　　台湾光荣特库摩宣布，以在全球相当有人气的动画作品「进击的巨人」的世界观为原作的战术狩猎动作游戏「进击的巨人」系列最新作《进击的巨人2》，即日起公开新情报。

　　此次公开的新情报为「多人连线模式」，在本作新增了团体对抗战「歼灭模式」，最多可4对4进行团队战，进行讨伐巨人或是设置据点比赛获得的积分。

　　另外还有与全世界玩家一同协力的要素，象是能够在「剧情模式」或「另击模式」中多人连线协力游玩，以及透过「共同开发」，互相提供改造的装备或是所需的素材，与其他玩家合作开发装备。

　　本次也公开可游玩角色「奇斯」、「奇兹」、「萨克雷」、「皮克希斯」。这次公开的4名角色也是本作中初次登场的可游玩角色。

■白热化的团队战：「歼灭模式」

　最多4对4同时进行团队战，进行巨人讨伐或是设置据点比赛获得的积分。可以使用专用道具让敌方玩家无法行动，或是破坏敌方队伍据点减少积分，达成相互妨碍制衡。因此「歼灭模式」除了讨伐巨人外，如何与其他玩家交手也是相当重要。

■与全世界的玩家们一同作战：「协力游玩」

　　「剧情模式」的战斗或是「另击模式」的「调查任务」，都可以透过连线与全世界的玩家们协力游玩。玩家自己除了可以向其他玩家请求支援外，也可以跟特定NPC交谈，选择加入现在正请求支援的玩家们的故事之中。

　　「共同开发」为1个玩家提供需要改造的装备，另1个玩家则提供改造所需的素材，用2人协力的方式进行装备开发。透过「共同开发」可以和其他玩家合作取得自己没有的装备或是素材，进行更有效率的开发。

《进击的巨人2》公开 Switch版与PSV版实机效果演示影片

　　KOEI TECMO 预定于 3 月 15 日发售的多平台游戏《进击的巨人2》此前公开的画面和视频全部都是以PS4版进行演示的，而日前官方公开了Switch版和PSV版的实机效果演示视频，正在考虑买这两个版本的朋友值得一看，这两个平台的优势就是可以便携，随时随地游玩。

　　本作将会以原作 TV 动画第二季为基础，收录各种各样的舞台场景。玩家可以体验大幅进化后的《进击的巨人》世界，而游戏版还会加入原作者监修的原创剧情展开。此外游戏还会加入和角色们进行交流的“日常部分”，随着角色关系加深，将会发生描写其内心一面的专用支线剧情。

　　前作可操控角色只有10人，而本作中将会超过30人。

　　由KOEI TECMO带来的《进击的巨人2》是一款动作类游戏，将登陆PS4、PSV、Switch、Xbox One、Steam平台，预定于 2018 年初发售。其中PS4、Switch、Steam 三个版本将支持中文。
