New Gameplay Video Shows Hot Tips in Action

Today, CI Games presents the first in a two-part series of videos on sniper tactics for Sniper Ghost Warrior 3. In this gameplay video, players will learn more about scope calibration, positioning, and the drone itself.

In the main story of Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, the player takes on the role of Jonathan North, an American Marine dropped into the Republic of Georgia to accomplish a highly classified Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) mission. But, his personal mission is to find his kidnapped brother.

Standing in his way are enemy Separatists that are currently destabilizing the country. It’s up to Jon to accomplish his mission, discover the whereabouts of his brother and to take down any foes looking to stop him using the following sniper tactics:

Scope Calibration

Check the distance to your target and set the elevation on your scope accordingly to compensate for bullet drop. Check the wind indicator as well as the wind influences whether the bullet will drift to the left or right. When all is set, exhale and take the shot.

Positioning

Take advantage of Jon’s surroundings to maximize his effectiveness in an area. Use the environment to reduce weapon sway while aiming. Crouching and lying down also reduces weapon sway. Sniper bullets are strong and can penetrate multiple targets if lined up correctly, and special sniper bullets can even penetrate walls and other barriers.

The Drone

Recon is critical to planning your mission prior to infiltration of an area. The drone can locate and mark enemies, sabotage objects and enemy devices. A simple flyover of the area can expose weak points in the enemy encampment allowing Jon to take out his enemies with deadly precision.

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is story of brotherhood, patriotism, and betrayal in the most complete sniper experience ever released. Take the role of an American sniper named Jonathan North, who drops into enemy territory in northern Georgia as the country is dissolving into a bloody civil war. Explore large open-world maps with dynamic weather conditions, and a day and night cycle that impacts play and player decision-making. CI Games Reveals Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Pre-Order Season Pass Edition on PS4 and PC

CI Games has announced a super special incentive for people who pre-order Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, containing a load of extras at no additional cost. Players can take advantage of this valuable season pass offering beginning today on the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and PC.

“We have a long-term investment in our community and believe that this season pass is a huge value to them,” said Marek Tymiński, CEO of CI Games. “The content within the season pass has variety to it, and we’re committed to provide support and additional content throughout 2017 for our largest game to date. The major part of the edition will be the single player campaign 'The Sabotage'. 　　在此之前，我们已经报道了《狙击之王：幽灵战士 3（Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3）》将会在今年2月3号开启一轮B测。近日，官方宣布这轮B测现已正式开启，并且相关的注册目前还在进行中，玩家在官网相关页面注册可以获得激活码（小编在之前已经注册，并在昨日收到四个激活码。）。另外官方也在此次B测开启之际，也公布了游戏的最新宣传视频。

　　此次B测将包含游戏的两个单人任务：“Cut Off”和“Blockout”，并且只在PC端进行。玩家在“Cut Off（切断）”任务中需要潜入敌人内部获取情报；在“Blockout（封锁）”任务中需要击杀一名重要目标。

　　《狙击之王：幽灵战士 3》不同于前作的线性流程，新作将在开放环境中，让玩家自主选择执行任务的方式。游戏中也将加入多人对战模式。目前游戏是定在今年4月4号在PC、PS4以及XboxOne平台发售。

   

Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Beta Playable February 3-5, 2017

Beginning today and lasting until Feb. 5, a special Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 beta is available worldwide for PC players on Steam. Below are descriptions of the two missions available in the beta:

Cut Off

The Separatists control a large antenna array, which lets them use satellites to track enemy movements and communicate with distant outposts. Jon needs to infiltrate this compound and manually reposition the dishes to intercept the satellite signal. Gaining access to enemy communications would give Jon and his team a tactical advantage over the enemy, as well as possible intelligence on his brother, Robert.

Blockout

Jon's cooperation with the local resistance, the Rotki Lions, gave him the location of one of the targets from his Most Wanted list – a list containing the names of war criminals that Jon can neutralize to bring justice to the people of Georgia. The target is Ivan Krustchev. He's hiding out in an abandoned apartment complex, surrounded by his guards. How will you complete this mission? Will you use your sniper rifle from the opposite building, storm the outpost with your assault rifle, or sneak past the guards and quietly take out your target?

Déjà vu, Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 delayed again
《狙击之王：幽灵战士 3》宣布再次跳票！

　　就在刚刚，游戏开发商CI Games在《狙击之王：幽灵战士 3(Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3)》的官网和官推上发表公告，宣布这部射击游戏将从之前确定的4月4日上市推迟到4月25日。

　　CI Games的CEO Marek Tyminski表示：整个开发团队正在努力创造一个全新的《狙击之王：幽灵战士 》游戏体验，设定在一个第一次出现在系列中的开放世界中。尽管这个再次延期的决定让人沮丧，但开发组认为这些最终的改变会在游戏上市时带给玩家更好的体验。

　　《狙击之王：幽灵战士 3》并不是第一次跳票，这部游戏在 2014 年就已正式公布，最初定于 2016 年上市，之后因为种种原因延期至 2017 年 1 月 27 日，后来再次跳票至 2017 年 4月 4 日。



Polish developer CI Games has delayed Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 again. But it's a smallish slip, the sniping game moving three weeks from Tuesday, 4th April to Tuesday, 25th April. That's on all three formats: PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

CI Games wanted to act upon feedback received during the game's February open beta test.

"We've worked tirelessly creating a whole new Sniper Ghost Warrior experience set in an ambitiously crafted open world new to the series," said CI boss Marek Tyminski. "While it's an unfortunate decision to delay the game one last time, we believe these final changes will result in a better experience for players worldwide on day one."

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 had once upon a time been expected first-half 2016, but was pushed back to a January 2017 release. From there the game moved to early April.

Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 (announced in December 2014) aims to bring the series into the big league and cement CI Games as a big player. Despite terrible-to-middling review scores - Sniper: Ghost Warrior received 2/10 in our review, and Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 received 6/10 in our review - the series has a solid following, amassing more than 5m lifetime sales.

CI Games Reveals Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Challenge Mode, Game Goes Gold

CI Games Uncovers Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 Side Ops Mission with Challenge Mode

The developers at CI Games, creators of the Sniper Ghost Warrior and Lords of the Fallen series of games, aren’t afraid of giving experienced sniper players a high difficulty for a more challenging overall experience. Today, they would like to introduce fans and newcomers to the series to a new mode in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 – Challenge Mode.

In the open-world setting new to Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, Side Ops are large side missions where players can move freely throughout the area, albeit avoiding enemies along the way. Watch the video to see a Side Ops mission in action with Challenge Mode added to it.

Long-time fans of the Sniper Ghost Warrior games have asked for a mode that will challenge even the best players, and Challenge Mode offers plenty of challenge. With a missing heads-up display (HUD), increased enemy perception, and enemy markers that disappear after using the surveillance drone, successfully completing missions in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 will require a well-equipped arsenal of weaponry and plenty of gadgets and attachments to make it through undetected.

“Challenge Mode is one of my favorite features in Sniper Ghost Warrior 3, because of how much importance it places on the skills of the player rather than relying on the game for help,” said Tomasz Pruski, senior level designer at CI Games. “A good example is when using the drone. It will tag the enemies, but once called back, players will need to rely on their memory to remember where the enemies are located inside the outpost. Precisely aimed headshots are also required, since enemies are more heavily armored on their body.”

　　视频为我们展示了很多游戏中玩家将会面对的问题，以及可能会使用到的战术，一小部分剧情上的疑问，还有大片大片的血浆。同样是狙击手题材的游戏，幽灵战士系列倒是和狙击精英系列走了不一样的暴力风格。爆头慢动作动画里清晰可见的四溅的脑浆看着还是让人有点打哆嗦。
