Ubisoft released today a new trailer featuring Pagan Min, Far Cry 4's chilling yet charming antagonist. Sadistic dictator. Psychopath. Best dressed man in Kyrat. These are just a few traits on Pagan Min's lengthy resume as the self-appointed King of Kyrat. Take a look into one of the most complex personalities gamers will encounter worldwide on November 18 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC.

Pagan Min was born in Hong Kong, the son of a mid-level drug boss in the Golden Triangle. His father was a small fish in a big pond and even as a young man, Pagan was as ambitious as he was flamboyant. This peacocking drove a wedge between them. Pagan worked for his father, hated him, and was frustrated as a lieutenant, seeing his father as a dinosaur. Nobody knows how his father died, but it wasn't natural causes. After his father's unfortunate passing Pagan inherited his small piece of the pie. He then left his old identity behind and adopted the moniker "Pagan," naming himself after an old Burmese king who murdered his family to take control. Of course, he changed the pronunciation to be western so that he'd be more unique. Pagan quickly started carving himself more of the pie he believed that he deserved. He built considerable assets, a small private army, and started angering his allies in the heroin trade. He didn't fit in and he knew he couldn't kill them all; it was only a matter of time before the old guard decided to have him killed.

This is when his eyes fell upon Kyrat, a small failed state with multiple warring factions in the wake of the collapse of its monarchy. He allied himself with the Royalists, propping up a distant heir to the throne who he used to swell his ranks and to remove all opposing faction in the country. After a few bloody months, Pagan and the united Royalists took the palace by storm, but Pagan betrayed the Royalists by murdering the heir and seizing the throne for himself. He then started a purge of anyone who didn't fall in line, executing his opposition. The betrayal led to the formation of the Golden Path, a small resistance movement dedicated to overthrowing Pagan.

For this occasion, Ubisoft announces that Far Cry 4 bundles for both PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 will be available at launch in Europe.

Ubisoft Releases Far Cry 4 Weapons Trailer: Arms Provided by a New and Intriguing Character

Ubisoft today released a new trailer featuring the weapons of Far Cry 4. Get an in-depth look at the all-new arsenal of weapons that will be at your disposal in Far Cry 4. Rain fire on your enemies with destructive mortars, grenade launchers, and machine guns, or take a stealth approach with auto crossbows and Kukri knives.

This impressive arsenal of weaponry will be supplied to the player by a new and intriguing character. Longinus admits to being a former warlord, and that he found God when he nearly died during a civil war in his country. After traveling with various religious missionary expeditions, he has followed a trail to the Himalayas and finds himself in Kyrat, caught up in another civil war that looks all too familiar. Longinus may have changed, but that doesn’t mean the lion has become the lamb. He’s willing to sell guns and supplies to the sheep while advocating that they fight for their freedom, because he knows from experience that warlords don’t simply go away…

With Far Cry 4 players will experience the most expansive and immersive Far Cry ever, in an entirely new, massive open-world. Players will find themselves in Kyrat, a breathtaking, perilous and wild region of the Himalayas struggling under the regime of a despotic self-appointed king. Using a vast array of weapons, vehicles and animals, players will write their own story across an exotic open-world landscape. Developed by Ubisoft Montréal in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios, Far Cry 4 will be available worldwide on November 18 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC.

Far Cry 4 Season Pass Announced



Far Cry 4 Season Pass Brings Yetis, Prison Breaks and a New PvP Experience tp Kyrat

Today, Ubisoft detailed the Season Pass for Far Cry 4, the highly anticipated first-person shooter for PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox One, the all-in-one games and entertainment system, Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC.

The Season Pass extends players’ time in Kyrat and includes new missions that can be completed in either single-player or co-op. Content includes a Season Pass exclusive day-one mission, a prison break co-op mission, wild missions with Hurk and his harpoon gun, a new PvP mode that will have friends teaming up to fight opposing forces and a chance to encounter the rarest beast in the Himalayas – yetis.

The Far Cry 4 Season Pass contains

• The Syringe – Available from launch exclusively for Season Pass holders, players must keep a rare and potent recipe from falling into the hands of Pagan Min’s forces. Playable in single-player and co-op, players will need to ensure that he does not use its devastating effects on the rebel forces.

• Escape from Durgesh Prison – Ajay and Hurk have been rounded up and tortured in Yuma’s prison. Team up with a friend to escape and survive the hostile lands of Pagan Min’s Kyrat.

• Hurk Deluxe Pack – Five missions, playable in single-player and co-op, including Yak Farm, Blood Ruby and Hurk’s Redemption are available. Access an arsenal of new weapons including a harpoon gun for Hurk.

• Overrun – Team up as Rakshasa or Golden Path in this PvP mode and control a series of neutral locations across Kyrat’s countryside to protect them from being overrun by your opponents.

• Valley of the Yetis – Ajay’s helicopter has crashed on an unforgiving Himalayan ridge. Explore the frozen landscape and find tools to upgrade your camp and protect it from a dangerous cult when night falls. With single-player and co-op options, players will not be alone, but in the darkest caves players will have more to fear than just the cult as the yetis await their prey…

Priced at $29.99 / ￡23.99, the Season Pass will be available at the launch of Far Cry 4 on November 18. Once purchased, the Season Pass enables the download of all included Far Cry 4 add-on content packs once they become available. Additionally, players who pre-order Far Cry 4 Gold Edition, which includes both the game and the Season Pass, will benefit from a discount over buying them separately. This edition is only available as a digital product on PC via Uplay and other PC Digital retailers, and on consoles via PlayStation Network (PS4 and PS3) and Xbox Marketplace (Xbox One only).
