《神偷4》玩法剧情新细节

在刚刚举行的2013年纽约动漫展上,Square Enix最新潜行类游戏《神偷4》的制作组透露了关于游戏的剧情和游戏机制的新信息。

Eren原先是个孤儿,一直在妓院里端茶倒水直至长大。之后她逃了出来并碰到了神偷大师即游戏系列主角Garrett,Garrett看她可怜就收留了她,并训练她成为自己的传人。但是Eren十分叛逆并开始杀戮,师徒俩分道扬镳,经过一些列的事情,Eren最终死亡。

当Garrett意识到自己已经开始堕落后,他离开了这个城市一年。同时,一个叫Orion的人正在召集穷苦饥饿的人跟随“黑暗”,于是Garrett又重新开始了行侠仗义。

在展会上,《神偷4》还放出了游戏第一关的演示视频,下面就是关于演示视频发现的游戏特性:

-第一关的任务是从Baron公关内偷一个叫“狮王之心”的宝石
-游戏的画面细节十分丰富
-光照和阴影在游戏中很重要
-Garrett有一种能力叫“集中(Focus)”,可以让偷窃更加容易,当然你也可以关闭这种能力,更有挑战性
-你可以从敌人身上偷取钥匙,金钱等物品。金钱可以用够购买新的装备比如钢丝钳,不同种类弩箭等等
-分散警卫注意力在游戏中十分重要
-不同的地面行走会发出不同的声音,造成不同的吸引,比如毯子就可以跑着走也没声
-可以通过钥匙孔,墙缝来观察
-警卫通过眼镜来巡逻,而不像大多数游戏那样来回游走,他们还能通过环境的变化来追寻到主角。如果你跟警卫干上了,那么你肯定就完了
-游戏中大部分的线索是通过警卫对话得知的,难度不同,对话不同
-游戏会有道德积累
-没有多人游戏和合作模式,但会有单人游戏的排行榜
-近战操控十分困难,不鼓励玩家玩暴力流
-世界可以自由探索,超多的隐藏的要素

- The gameplay footage shown at NYCC has Garrett fairly talkative with himself
- Internal monologues are where most of his talking is right now
- “Here he’s very talkative,” says Daniel Windfeld Schmidt, lead level designer
- Daniel implies that he and the game’s narrative director (Steve Gallagher) will go over that later and decide whether to keep it in
- Hints will be limited
- “We don’t want him to talk that much.”
- “It’s a fine line of giving enough of his character without making him feel like a condescending person.”

《神偷4》游戏总监确认取消游戏中经验值系统

  《神偷4》游戏总监Nicolas Cantin在论坛的问答中确认了游戏中的经验值系统已经删除了。游戏总监Nicolas Cantin说到之前原本是想以经验值来表现玩家的游玩进度但是这个系统会减少游戏中盗窃元素的体现,所以我们把经验值系统剔除出去了。而且在E3上玩家们对这个经验值系统给出了不好的评价,我们觉得玩家们的反应是正确的。

  现在,玩家将使用偷来的金币来获得并选择使用更加隐蔽或更加激进的工具。Schmidt称这种改变并没有那么惊人。“《神偷》系列游戏中,即使玩家没有经验值也不会影响游戏,就像玩家不需要杀掉任何人就可以打通游戏一样,”他说。从中也可以看出,Eidos蒙特利尔工作室可能还考虑了其他的玩家回馈,因为这篇帖子以“开发者将对QTE系统做出解释”结束。《神偷4》将于2014年2月登陆PC、PS3、Xbox 360以及Xbox One。

Thief 'Stories from The City' Part 1 ~ Basso's Gamble

   


First in a New Series of Videos Released Today

Square Enix and Eidos-Montréal, the award winning studio behind the critically acclaimed Deus Ex: Human Revolution today released the first trailer in a new series of stylized videos that focus on the rich tapestry of Thief, its City and its characters.

Each trailer in this new series tells the story of The City from the perspective of a different character in Thief's narrative describing what life is like in the broken, repressed City that is being ravaged by the evil Baron Northcrest and the mysterious sickness known as ‘The Gloom’.

The first trailer focuses on Basso, a former safe-cracker turned fence, who uses his vast connections to The City’s underworld to organize thieving jobs for Garrett. He owns an intelligent, but bad tempered magpie called Jenivere who delivers messages for him. Garrett might consider himself a loner, but Basso is the nearest thing he has to a friend - and whether he readily admits it or not; he rather likes the fellow.

Thief launches on February 25, 2014 in North America on Windows PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Thief ‘Lockdown’ Screens & artworks

New Thief Screens and Copncept Art Available Now

Square Enix and Eidos-Montréal today released a new selection of screenshots and concept arts taken from a mission at the beginning of the game called ‘Lockdown’.

Baron Northcrest has enforced a ruthless lockdown on the population of the City to control the uprising and quell the spread of a mysterious sickness that spreads through the streets, gripping people’s minds with crippling nightmares and terrible voices in their heads. Nobody feels safe from the sickness that the people on the streets call ‘The Gloom’.

Having returned to the City Garrett must reach his hideout on the other side of the Baron’s brutal lockdown, although he overhears of some precious items in a nearby jewelry store. He chooses to infiltrate the store on the way and although he knows this won’t be easy, he can’t help but steal a glimpse of what lies inside.

Thief is due for release on February 25 in North America and on February 28 in all European and PAL territories.

  在12月7日召开的VGX已迫在眉睫之际,计划在活动中发布有关其新版《神偷》15分钟特集与介绍片的Eidos Montreal公司,最近对其官方博客进行了更新。在此次更新中,为本作准备的各种细节设定,包括满足不同玩家不同需求的自定义难易度。全新UI界面等最新情报得到了发表。

  在当初发布的游戏预览中,作为故事主人公的加雷特(Garrett)为了引导玩家,总是会将自身状况通过自言自语的方式表示出来,这一对话系统大大损害了本应沉默寡言的主角形象。听到这种批评的新版《神偷》,将主角的说话提示转换成了界面提示,作品的整体质量也得到了大幅提高。

1、经典神偷模组(Classic Thief Mods)
  • 只对章节进行保存:手动保存和检查点自动保存无效化
  • Focus无效化:主角没有特殊能力,“Focus”完全无效,Focus点无法取得。
  • 潜行攻击无效:战斗中的潜行攻击无效化。
  • 准星无效化:使用弓箭时精确瞄准用的准心将不会显示。

2、传奇神偷模组(Legendary Thief Mods)
  • 指定箭矢:只能使用Blunt、Water、Fire、Rope箭矢。
  • 没有恢复资源:不提供体力恢复用的食物和Focus恢复用的罂粟。
  • It Hurts Not:主角受到伤害时任务失败。
  • 昂贵的道具:箭、工具、食物、罂粟的价格会大幅度提高。
  • 移动速度钝化:奔跑与走路的速度变慢。


3、终极神偷模组(Ultimate Thief Mods)
  • 铁人:死亡或任务失败时游戏将从最初开始。(被虐狂模式)
  • 无升级:升级无效化。
  • 无杀生:杀害人或动物时任务失败。
  • 见光死:人或动物看到主角时任务失败。


Custom Difficulty Settings

You can create your own custom difficulty level by toggling on any (or all!) of the following mods:

Base difficulty: easy, normal or hard

Classic Thief Mods
* Chapter Save Only: manual saves and checkpoint auto-saves are disabled.
* No Focus: the use of Focus is completely disabled and no Focus Points are earned.
* Stealth Takedowns Only: you cannot perform combat Takedowns and Takedowns from above.
* No Reticle: no aiming reticle is displayed when drawing the bow.

Legendary Thief Mods
* Specialty Arrows Only: only Blunt, Water, Fire and Rope Arrows are available.
* No Resources: food (health) and poppy flowers (Focus) are not consumable.
* It Hurts Not: if you take any damage, the mission is failed.
* Expensive Tools: the cost of arrows, tools, food and poppies is greatly increased.
* Slowed Movement: running and walking speeds are reduced.

Ultimate Thief Mods
* Iron Man: if you die or fail a mission, you lose your game and must restart from the beginning.
* No Upgrades: non-critical upgrades are disabled.
* No Kills or Knockouts: if a human or animal is killed or stunned, the mission is failed.
* No Alerts: if a human or animal detects you, the mission is failed.

VGX 2013:经典次世代续作《神偷4》先行预告片

   Eidos Montreal公司正在全力进行开发的经典系列次世代续作《神偷4》确定将在后天(12月7日)的VGX 2013上发布15分钟特集与介绍片,先行预告片公开。

  本作神偷Garrett置身于城市掌权者Northcrest男爵与Orion领导的被压迫群众之间不断升级的激烈冲突中。城市暴动一触即发,要游走于各大动荡势力之间,Garrett能依靠的只有自身技艺和神偷本能。

  《神偷4》放出故事预告片的第二段,讲述了关于“乞丐女皇”的传说。没人知道Beggars女皇的实际年龄;传言她和这座城市一样老。有些人说虽然她瞎了-但她可以透过老鼠的眼睛看到城市里的一切。尽管她是这个社会最底层的人物,但是乞丐女皇操控的乞丐王朝受到尊重,并且拥有了外交和智慧。

Each trailer in the series tells a story from the perspective of a different character describing life in the broken, repressed City that is being ravaged by the ruthless Baron Northcrest and the mysterious sickness known as ‘The Gloom’.

“Let me tell you about the City.
We both know a thing or two about survival. We have grown old together.
Time and again it has been brought down, only to rise from its own ashes.
But this time is different. The balance has shifted;
There will be blood. Seeping, oozing; bleeding from every artery in this city.
But still… there is one who may yet be the key.
One who fears the light inside him as much as the darkness.
Yes… He will do nicely”


Nobody knows how old the Queen of the Beggars actually is; rumor has it she’s as old as The City itself. Some say that although she is blind - she sees through the eyes of the rats that riddle the city streets. Despite being on the lowest layer of society, the Queen of the Beggars operates the beggar’s court with more respect, diplomacy and wisdom, than many of the people with real positions of power in the City. She is a wise, some say all knowing character whose words, beliefs and judgements should be revered.

Thief is due for release on February 25, 2014 in North America.

《神偷4》制作组:次世代架构很好用 PC版最重要

  将一款大型游戏推向全平台并非易事,尤其对于《神偷4》这样一款主要面向PC平台的游戏来说。媒体近日采访了Edios蒙特利尔工作室关卡设计师Daniel Windfeld-Schmidt,详谈了以PC为基础的《神偷4》是如何登陆PS4和Xbox One的。

  Windfeld-Schmidt 表示,“PC版对我们来说非常重要,因为这是我们这个系列作品最初起家的平台。这就像是《杀出重围3:人类革命》的情况一样。所以我们对待PC版的态度非常严肃认真。我们对最终各平台版本的表现都很满意。PC,PS4和Xbox One的画面看上去和玩起来感觉都很棒。新主机的架构对于我们的制作过程有很大帮助。”新作《神偷4》将于2014年2月25日登陆北美,2月28日登陆欧洲,届时也将推出Xbox 360和PS3版本。
