World of Final Fantasy Demo Launches October 17 in the West, Opening Movie

   

World of Final Fantasy Comes Alive in Playable Demo Arriving Next Week

Square Enix announced that on October 17 fans can preview the upcoming family-friendly title World of Final Fantasy via the free playable demo available for download at the PlayStation Store.

The playable demo will allow players to experience heroes Reynn and Lann in their Lilikin and Jiant forms, meet various different Mirages and encounter a selection of iconic Final Fantasy characters along the way, including Cloud, Lightning and Squall. Completing the demo allows players to battle and capture “Magitek Armor P” at the coliseum in the full version of the game.

The full-length animated opening cinematic for the title was also revealed, showcasing two distinct animation styles. It depicts Reynn and Lann, as they set foot into the magical world of Grymoire, battling menacing Mega Mirages and fighting alongside legendary Final Fantasy characters.

World of Final Fantasy will arrive on October 25 for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and the PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system for $59.99. The Day One edition includes extra digital content including an exclusive Sephiroth summon and the Japanese voice-over option add-on.

《Final Fantasy 世界》新增角色莉、《王国之心》与《Final Fantasy VII Remake》新情报

　　来自SQUARE ENIX的著名游戏制作人野村哲近日接受了《电击PlayStation》的采访，并透露了他目前负责的两个项目：《王国之心》与《Final Fantasy VII Remake》的不少新情报。
　　
《王国之心》

　　野村哲再次确认了之前《王国之心 HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue》将对应PS4 Pro 高清画质的消息，不过对于能否以原生4K分辨率运行、是否有更多画面细节的问题，他只是含糊的回答：“它(在PS4 Pro上)会支持4K分辨率，画面肯定非常棒。更多细节我们将在未来公开。”

　　而对于久未有消息传出的系列正统续作《王国之心3》，野村哲表示开发工作正在有序的进行中，目前已经由一些消息可以公布，不过他和制作组们正在考虑公布这些新情报的时机。即将到来的《王国之心》15周年活动，可能会是一个不错的时间点，从明年 1 月的《王国之心 HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue》和 3月的世界巡演音乐会开始，将有一系列有关《王国之心》的活动与情报到来。
　　
《Final Fantasy VII Remake》

　　至于野村哲的另一个大项目《Final Fantasy VII Remake》，也同样是自公布之后就鲜有消息曝出了。他在采访中表示，其实目前游戏已经有了许多令人兴奋的进展想与玩家们分享，比如以粉丝们钟爱的ATB系统(原作中带时间槽的回合制)为基础，开发出的新战斗系统，将会为游戏带来更多的动作元素，只可惜受制于当前游戏完成度，没办法以实际画面展示。

　　此前我们曾得知《World of Final Fantasy》将加入一位新角色，她就是曾在《Final Fantasy X》中出现的莉可。最近Fami通杂志曝光了莉可在《World of Final Fantasy》中的截图，和其他角色一样也是萌得不行。

　　莉可是阿尔法贝塔族首领席德的女儿，也是尤娜的表妹。她拥有开朗乐观的性格，时常憧憬着斯波拉的未来。游泳能力十分出色，是7人中的气氛制造者。本人也标榜自己是“热闹担当”。

　　《World of Final Fantasy》将于10 月 25 日和 10 月 27 日分别在北美及日本发售，登陆PS4 和 PSV 平台，而欧洲地区发售时间为10 月 28 日，中文版也将在10 月 25 日和玩家见面。

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood Expansion Announced
《Final Fantasy XIV》最新数据片《红莲的解放者》2017 年初夏登场

　　SQUARE ENIX 宣布，营运中的 PC / PS4 / Mac 在线角色扮演游戏《Final Fantasy XIV》将于 2017 年初夏推出最新数据片《Final Fantasy XIV：红莲的解放者（红莲のリベレーター）》。

　　《Final Fantasy XIV：红莲的解放者》将以「阿拉米哥（アラミゴ）」地方为舞台，该地已经被卡雷马尔帝国（ ガレマール帝国）统治 20 年，这次数据片的主题是从帝国手中解放该地。

　　数据片将以「武僧」担任故事主要职业，此外还预定加入多种新职业，根据游戏制作人兼总监吉田直树的暗示，其中很可能包括「红魔道士」。 最高等级将从 60 级提升至 70 级，同时刷新战斗系统，变更额外技能的选择，将职业相关的技能共通化，强化先前效果不彰、用途太少的技能。

　　《红莲的解放者》将具备规模不亚于《苍天的伊修加尔德》的新增场景，可运用风脉搭乘飞行载具飞行。 追加新蛮神、新地下城、新高难度多人副本、探索地带「禁忌之地 尤雷卡（禁断の地 エウレカ）」、新装备与新配方，持有道具的容纳量大幅增加，以及追加第 4 个住宅区。













　　由于内容大幅扩充，因此新数据片将提升 PC 硬件配备需求，同时结束 PS3 版的营运。 官方将会配合推出 PS3 版转移到 PS4 版的升级活动，让既有的 PS3 版玩家可以免费转移到 PS4 版。

   

Final Fantasy XIV: Stormblood Revealed, What We Know So Far

I’m at the Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival in Las Vegas this weekend, where Producer and Director Naoki Yoshida took the stage moments ago to deliver the event’s keynote address and share some amazing news: details on the next Final Fantasy XIV expansion, Stormblood, due out in early summer 2017!

The keynote opened with a brand-new teaser trailer (and tons of cheering) that gave everyone a glimpse of what’s to come to Square Enix’s massive MMORPG.

The Warrior of Light — who seems to have once again opted to change his main job — goes toe to toe with a mysterious woman in red during an intense training session. As Yoshida revealed during the presentation, this area is actually one of the new hubs that players will visit as they venture to Ala Mhigo, the backdrop for Stormblood.

As the liberation of Ala Mhigo will be taking center stage in the new storyline, it was revealed that XIIth Legion Legatus Zenos yae Galvus, ruler of the occupied Ala Mhigo, will be one of the main adversaries to be faced during your adventure. He looks pretty intense…





There was a plethora of additional gameplay updates laid out during Yoshida’s presentation. Not only will the level cap be raised from 60 to 70, but the addition of multiple new jobs was also revealed! While Yoshida didn’t make any firm declarations today, he teased attendees with more news coming at the Fan Festivals in Tokyo and Europe.

Yoshida also touched on the staples of Final Fantasy XIV that will be returning, including new dungeons, challenging high-level raids, alliance raids, as well as new gear. But one of the most well-received announcements was the increase to player inventory size, which was met with a deafening cheer.

To close the presentation, Yoshida announced that with the launch of Stormblood, support on PS3 for Final Fantasy XIV would come to a close. At the same time, a PS3 to PS4 upgrade campaign is planned, which will allow PS3 players to seamlessly join in the battle for Ala Mhigo at launch!

Mobius Final Fantasy Coming to Steam this November in Japan
《MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY》PC 版预定 11 月在 Steam 平台问世

　　SQUARE ENIX 今日宣布，旗下手机 RPG《MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY》将于 11 月在 Steam 平台推出 PC 版，计划将采基本游玩免费制方式营运。

　　《MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY》是以负责 FFVII／FFXIII 系列的北瀬佳范为中心，由 SQUARE ENIX 公司内部《FINAL FANTASY》正传系列团队亲手打造的角色扮演游戏。

　　SQUARE ENIX 表示，PC 版本将会让玩家可以享受 1920X1080 高画质影像，游戏将对应 4K 分辨率、60FPS，让玩家在计算机屏幕中感受强大的战斗场景。

　　《MOBIUS FINAL FANTASY》采用 FF 系列传统的「职业系统」，赋予游戏深奥的策略性。 职业与技能能搭配出无限多种组合，可供喜欢钻研的玩家打造出自己心目中的理想角色。

The Adorable 'World of Final Fantasy' Now Avaialbe

Parents and young players are sure to enjoy the family-friendly adventures that lie within today’s release of World of Final Fantasy. This latest addition to the Final Fantasy franchise from Square Enix is now available for the PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system and PlayStation Vita handheld entertainment system.

Combining classic RPG elements with an all-new stacking active time battle (“ATB”) system, players will lead twin siblings, Reynn and Lann, on their journey through the mysterious world of Grymoire. On a search to rediscover their lost memories, the heroes will encounter over 200 unique and wonderful creatures, known as Mirages, and a whole host of legendary Final Fantasy characters. Players can capture, customize and evolve their Mirages – strategically stacking to defeat even the most ferocious of foes.

World of Final Fantasy to add Sora from Kingdom Hearts via free DLC this winter
《最终幻想世界》新情报 王国之心主角索拉加入

　　昨天 Square Enix宣布《王国之心》系列主角索拉(Sora)将会出作为免费DLC内容出现在《最终幻想世界》中，而这款DLC的预计发售时间为今年冬季。

　　为了庆祝《王国之心HD 2.8》将在明年1月发售，索拉也可作为DLC内容限时出现在《王国之心 Dream Drop Distance HD》中。官方在不久后还会公布如何获得索拉冠军召唤的相关信息。

　　《最终幻想世界》现已登陆PS4和PSV平台。

Sora, the protagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series, will appear in World of Final Fantasy as free downloadable content this winter, Square Enix announced.

Commemorating the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue in January, Sora will be available for download for a limited time only and appear in his Kingdom Hearts: Dream Drop Distance HD outfit. Further information on how to obtain the Sora champion summon will follow at a later date.

World of Final Fantasy is now available for PlayStation 4 and PS Vita.

由时田贵司打造的手机新作《FF_NEW（暂称）》将于 5 天后揭晓详情

　　SQUARE ENIX 于今（28）日正式对外发表手机新作 RPG《FF_NEW（暂称）》（iOS / Android），形象官网已经开放，游戏预定近日上架。

　　虽然详细的游戏内容目前尚未明朗，但官方网站上已经可以看到本作将由曾开发《Final Fantasy IV》《半熟英雄》《狂飙骑士》《异魔》的「时田贵司」担纲制作。

　　另外，形象网站上也能够观赏到天野喜孝所绘制的插画。 据官方透露，当网站上的倒数天数归零时，就会揭晓插图背后的秘密。

　　游戏创作者时田贵司在官网上留下的文字指出：「Final Fantasy，就是洋溢着人性魅力的角色们、愤怒或是悲伤的戏剧化战斗，然后比起什么都重要的是，绝对不能忘了 “幻想（Fantasy）”」。

《FF_New》真面目揭晓！ 《FINAL FANTASY 传奇 2》正式发表

　　SQUARE ENIX 日前对外发表手机新作《FF_NEW（暂称）》的形象官网，今（2）日正式揭露此一新作为《FINAL FANTASY 传奇 2（暂译，原名：ファイナルファンタジーレジェンズ II）》（iOS / Android）。

　　根据数据显示，《FINAL FANTASY 传奇 2》是 2015 年 2 月已上市之《FINAL FANTASY 传奇 时空水晶（FINAL FANTASY LEGENDS 时空ノ水晶）》的「全新重生之作」。 从官方公告看来，就是指《时空水晶》将进行大型改版更新，届时会以《FINAL FANTASY 传奇 2》之名重新登场。

　　在 5 天前形象官网开张时，负责本作制作的时田贵司曾在讯息内提到：「Final Fantasy，就是洋溢着人性魅力的角色们、愤怒或是悲伤的戏剧化战斗，然后比起什么都重要的是，绝对不能忘了 “幻想（Fantasy）”。 」



　　而在本作正式揭晓之后，官网上的文字也换成了：「继承了系列前作《光与闇的战士》之血脉的《时空水晶》，在此将作为《FINAL FANTASY 传奇 2》而新生。 这就是在全新时空中展开的 FINAL FANTASY 传说。 」



　　配合本作的正式发表，官方也开始接受事前登录。 目前既有的玩家届时可直接沿用纪录，但只要进行登录，还能够额外获得游戏内的战士职业武器「Fraternity（フラタニティ）」，登录人数每增加一万人就再追加 300 颗时空石。 另外，在正式改版为新版本后 30 日内开始游戏的话，还可以取得《FF X》主角「提达（ティーダ）」的限定 SS + 幻石以及服装。

   

Final Fantasy Dimensions II RPG App Revealed

Square Enix's teaser site revealed the Final Fantasy Legends II smartphone game sequel on Wednesday. The site is streaming a teaser video for the game.

The video indicates that the game will be a "standard" Final Fantasy game that will have learned from the past, featuring event scenes with super-deformed portrayals of characters. In a message at the end of the video, game creator Takashi Tokita (Parasite Eve, Chrono Trigger director, Final Fantasy IV lead game designer) said that the game will be a "rebirth."

Square Enix released the first game in the series in Japan with the title Final Fantasy Legends: Hikari to Yami no Senshi (Final Fantasy Legends: Warriors of Light and Darkness) in 2010, but released it in the West in 2012 with the title Final Fantasy Dimensions.

Those who pre-register for the game in the official website will get the Phantom Stone item from Final Fantasy X, and the "Fraternity" weapon.
