You are welcome
I'm just back from KK. Stayed Hotel Sixty3. Highly recommended cos:
* Room very big. King size bed (can sleep 3 people of big size, may be slimmer student can sleep 4 people).
* excelent location
- food: Right opposite hotel got 2 eatery - Old Town White Coffee but the other one next to it (sorrycan't remember the name) got more variety - bakery, fastfood, Dim Sum (I tried Siew Mai is very nice). Actually next to hotel also got bakery. And also a the oldest Japanese Restaurant "Nishiki" open by a Japanese Mr. Iwase. I must say the Japanese food is the best in town. I especialy love the Squid sashimi cos it's so fresh & just melt in my mouth, better than Sushi King.
- hotel is right at Gaya Street. The Tamu (Sunday market) is just next to the hotel. Many stalls are already there since 6:30am. Surian KK is just 5 minues walk. Jesselton Point (where the boat going to island) is just nest to Suria KK. A 24 hr shop like 7Eleven is next to hotel too.
- Sabah Tourism Board + Tourist Information Centre is right opposit the hotel.
- Gaya Street is classic where you can still find many old shop (coffe shops selling old time nice food, old sundary shop etc.
- other plus point- on the walls of all the floors corrodrs and room are flooded with old KK photos. Those are classic pics that you can hardly find elsewhe
Have fun |
