　　许久没有玩传统RPG了吧，大厂商不做，独立游戏工作室还是会做的。日前有一家名为Enigami的法国独立游戏工作室在Kickstarter上募集资金，力图打造一款名为《Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom》的RPG游戏。该工作室想要募集到10万美元的金额，目前已经募集到2.9万美元，距离截止时间还有29天。

　　该作风格看着很像《薄暮传说》，引擎采用的是最新的虚幻引擎，画面色彩艳丽人物采用渲染风格，游戏包括探索、战斗、任务、装备和魔法等传统RPG全部有的要素。如果最后募集成功，该作将登陆PS4、XBOX ONE和PC平台。

Game Features

• Exploration - Shiness will task players with exploring “many areas” through “quests, resolving puzzles, fighting against enemies, bosses, notorious monsters and hunting animals to get items.”

• Battle System - Shiness uses an action-based battle system that happens directly on the main map “with barely no transition between the fight and the exploration modes.” Magic and close combat have been mixed to allow for “many strategies” in defeating enemies.

• Quests - “Considerable time” is being spent to present a “great storyline” with each quest, including investigation and interrogation quests, as well as those where players are tasked with defeating difficult enemies and facing tough challenges.

• Gear and Martial Arts - In Shiness, martial arts are more effective than weapons. You can learn three types of arts: physical, magical, and supply arts. Each character also carries his own gear, such as bracelets and necklaces, which change the look of the heroes as well as their stats.

• Magic - In Shiness, the Shi is used to power magic. You can cast several during a fight such as damage and defense spells, or even status effect spells.

Indie studio Enigami's upcoming Action-RPG Shiness arrives 18 April for download on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC! In today's Characters Trailer, meet the eclectic band of fighters you'll take control of as you explore, quest and battle across the magical world of Mahera.

Shiness' characters and story were first birthed over 20 years ago from the pen strokes of a young Samir Rebib, co-founder of Enigami. Now, after a successful Kickstarter campaign and with the help of publisher Focus Home Interactive, this young team is close to releasing their first game - featuring 5 playable characters with distinct playstyles and personalities:

• Chado - This daring young Waki dreams of travelling far beyond his home town Kimpao - and this desire quickly lands him in big trouble!

• Poky - A faithful friend to Chado, Poky has an incredible talent for engineering that makes up for his lack of courage.

• Rosalya - Shy but loyal to the party, Rosalya has a powerful affinity with fire and is on the search for a mysterious truth.

• Askel - A formidable young mercenary, the enigmatic Askel already has a far-reaching reputation in Mahera.

• Kayenne - A strong, natural born leader, Kayenne remains calm in even the most difficult situations.

Directly control your party members in hyper-dynamic combat - each character has powerful magical abilities and their own devastating Hyper Combos! Though battles are 1v1 in classic fighting game tradition, party members can cast spells from the sidelines and be swapped out through the tag team system.
Outside battle, the open, puzzle-filled environments give party members plenty of opportunities to shine. From Kayenne's telekinetic talents to Rosalya's use of fire to reveal hidden entrances, use potent abilities to overcome any obstacle that stands in your way.

A new trailer released today invites users to “discover the magical lands and characters of the Lightning Kingdom, accompanied by an entrancing, original soundtrack composed by Enigami co-founder Hazem Hawash.”

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom due out by March 31



The game is on the road!

We've been working nights and days on Shiness for months now– we’ve been doing all we can to finish the game and to make it as great as it can be! You can expect a release before the end of Q1 2017.

Releasing our first game has been an amazing adventure but also a huge challenge. The PC version is feature finished, and we are now debugging with plans to put the final touches in the coming weeks. The Xbox One and PS4 versions are almost finished - we are also debugging and should start the certification process very soon.

Here’s a bit more info about Shiness in its current, feature complete state:

• It takes us around 35 hours to complete the game
• There’s more than 30 epic boss fights
• Around 100 different enemies you will fight against.
• 2 hours of Original Sound Track.
• 20 special quests and special missions.

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom,the upcoming Action-RPG from Enigami, is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC this December. This Behind-the-Scenes video tells the story of the birth of Shiness, and how a seven year-old Samir Rebib - creative director - imagined Shiness' magical universe 20 years ago when he drew his manga, before adapting his universe into a video game. In this video, Enigami studio is opening the door to their imaginary world and describe how they created the enchanting lore of Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom.

The development team also tells us more about Shiness' fast-paced battle system, which blends RPG elements with classic fighting game mechanics. Mastering the real-time blocking, parrying, dodging and combos are key to progressing in your quest, with distinct playstyles across 5 different characters. Each character also has their own special abilities used outside of battle, vital for resolving the many puzzles scattered across the lands of Shiness.

Shiness reveals more images of its world and unveils its coming pre-order offer

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom, the Action-RPG developed by Enigami, releases this fall on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. Walk deep inside the corrupted forest of Meonis, a land originally inhabited by Meonians. This old civilization once lived in harmony with nature, but fled to Mantara City in order to escape the Curse of Adorn. Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom shows off new environments with screenshots

Shiness: The Lightning Kingdom, the Action-RPG developed by Enigami Studio shows off new screenshots presenting the world of Mahera, and its various environments. From the Meonis Plains to the Hall of Giants, Shiness will surprise you with beautiful vistas and varied atmospheres.

Travelling in Shiness is centered on the Meonis Plains, linking the world together. The area is massive in scale and fighting and exploring throughout the land will take you through towns and villages for quests, open plains, and of course, puzzles and dungeons.

One key place in the plains is Shjue Village. Here, players can locate the mount vendor and purchase an Amos beast. These friendly-looking creatures help Chado and his friends travel the plains to quickly get from place to place. Your adventure will lead your group to immense locations like the mysterious Train Station. This area is not only technologically superior to the neighboring settlements, but also militarized... you never know if you will be welcome or not to the places you visit, so stay on your guard!
