Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment Announces Post-Apocalyptic Open World Action Game Mad Max

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today announced Mad Max, a new open world, third-person action game where players become Mad Max, a lone warrior in a savage post-apocalyptic world where cars are the key to survival. The game will debut for PlayStation(R)4 computer entertainment system, PlayStation 3 computer entertainment system, Xbox One the all-in-one games and entertainment system from Microsoft, the Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC.

Scheduled for release in 2014, Mad Max will deliver dynamic, open-world gameplay where gamers fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using brutal on-ground and vehicular combat against vicious gangs of bandits. Players are challenged with treacherous missions as they scavenge the dangerous landscape for supplies to build the ultimate combat vehicle.

"Mad Max places gamers directly into the driver's seat of their ultimate customized vehicle to battle it out in the action-packed, open world of The Wasteland," said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production & Development, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. "We are very pleased to work with Avalanche Studios to provide a next generation gaming experience with robust fighting paired with dynamic vehicular combat."

《疯狂的麦克斯》没有多人模式 注重单人体验

　　华纳兄弟和雪崩工作室将携手为大家带来知名电影《疯狂的麦克斯》的同名改编游戏，在索尼E3展前发布会上，该作也放出了宣传片，而官方也称本作是一款开放世界沙箱游戏，日前雪崩工作室表示游戏将不包括多人模式，至少现在没有。

《疯狂麦克斯》将提供“上百万种车辆改装组合”

　　媒体有机会采访到了Avalanche的首席关卡设计师Andreas Gschwari。他详细介绍了《疯狂麦克斯》的车辆改装系统及其对游戏操作的影响。

　　他表示，游戏将提供“上百万种车辆改装组合”。每个零件都会影响到车辆的物理特性，速度，重量等等，因此玩家的每个决定都必须经过深思熟虑，这样才能保证不会在战场上吃亏。车辆升级零件要通过搜刮资源获得，大多数都要靠关键任务，从敌人车队中获得。

　　能够对车辆进行的改装和升级多的数不过来，你可以更改轮胎，车身，引擎，悬挂等等。这就像是个末世题材的靓车俱乐部。

　　我们在试玩展示中看到，车辆可以发射钢索和钩子，可以用来拉倒狙击塔楼和要塞大门，一切展示都是在PS4上进行的，看上去很不错。

《疯狂麦克斯》制作组考虑第二屏幕功能及PC版MOD

　　《疯狂麦克斯》是经典同名电影的游戏作品，将于明年登陆前代主机和新主机。制作组一直在与媒体和玩家进行交流，介绍游戏故事背景和特色功能。

　　在最近一次接受AusGamers采访时，Avalanche工作室高级游戏设计师Emil Kraftling和社区经理Tomas Wilborgh讨论了《疯狂麦克斯》采用第二屏幕进行游戏的可能性。Kraftling说：“我不确定。我得先了解一下。”Wilborgh补充说：“我们目前没有考虑这方面的设计。”

　　而关于PC版MOD的支持，Kraftling说：“我们很了解玩家社群，我们非常喜欢《正当防卫2》中玩家制作的内容。”听上去他似乎很倾向于支持MOD制作。估计PC版十有八九会提供MOD制作功能。

改编自梅尔・吉勃逊主演同名电影《冲锋飞车队》预计 9 月在美国上市

　　由 Avalanche 开发、华纳兄弟发行的《冲锋飞车队》将于 9 月 1 日在美国地区上市，预计登上 PC、PS4 与 Xbox One 平台，并取消了PS3、Xbox 360 平台的开发。

　　第三人称视角动作游戏《冲锋飞车队》主要是以梅尔・吉勃逊所主演的电影为故事基础，游戏舞台设定在因为战争影响造成文明破坏后的世纪末世界，玩家将扮演主角麦斯，驾驶着爱车「V8 拦截者」在荒野上进行各式各样的任务。

　　官方于近日宣布，《冲锋飞车队》PC、PS4 以及 Xbox One 版本预计于 9 月 1 日在美国地区上市，并于即日起开放预购，预购游戏的玩家将可以获得一台名为「开膛手（The Ripper）」的车。





Mad Max – Pre-order Bonus, Box Art & Ship Date Revealed

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment today revealed new pre-order bonus details for Mad Max. All those who pre-order Mad Max will receive an additional Magnum Opus car body called “The Ripper,” which packs a powerful V8 engine, upgraded exhaust with custom off-road tires, a ramming grill and a tuned suspension so it can take on a variety of Wasteland surfaces. Also revealed today was box art for the game.

Mad Max is set to launch on September 1 in North America and September 4 in Europe for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and SteamOS.

Mad Max delivers open world gameplay in a post-apocalyptic setting where cars are the key to survival. Developed by Avalanche Studios, gamers become Mad Max, a lone warrior who must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland, using vicious on-ground and vehicular combat against savage bandits. Following the theft of his iconic Interceptor, Max must align himself with a gifted, but peculiar, mechanic named Chumbucket and others to build the ultimate war vehicle as he works to escape from the dangerous Wasteland.
