Cave announces new project code-named 3jus



DoDonPachi and Deathsmiles developer Cave has announced the development of a “completely new project” code-named “3jus.”

On the teaser website, Yuri Shibamura, author of works such as Gunparade March and Touken Ranbu Online, tells of the “start of war.” Here is the text:

Cave project ‘3jus’ teaser website updated with ‘Trilateral Japan’ image



Cave has updated the teaser website for its new project code-named “3jus” launched last week with a new image.

The headline of the image reads, “Trilateral Japan.” The bottoms of the three columns read, “Freedom (Blue) vs. Control (Red) vs. Greed (Green).” Here’s what each column reads:

Freedom (Blue): “Let’s build it together! A Japan we can all enjoy.”
Control (Red): “Comrades of absolute patriotism and the forthcoming revolution.”
Greed (Green): “Everything can be bought with money, even justice.”
More information will be shared during the next website update on October 27.

Cave has not said what platforms this “completely new project” will be released for, but as noted last week, Famitsu’s coverage of the teaser website’s launch included a “console game” tag, suggesting this will not be a smartphone title.

Cave project ‘3jus’ teaser website introduces Kasumigaseki

Cave has updated the teaser website for its new project code-named “3jus” with an introduction to Kasumigaseki, one of the three great powers (Control) introduced last week, led by a man named Hallelujah Kyogoku.

Kasumigaseki waves the flag of control, and its leader makes fierce assertions such as, “Democracy was destroyed long ago!” and “War is a great deal of paperwork.”

Cave has updated the teaser website for its new project code-named “3jus” with an introduction to Yaoyorozu, the Freedom power of the three great powers teased last month, led by a student named Tomomi Kamuro.

Cave project ‘3jus’ officially announced as Sangoku Justice



Following weeks of teaser website updates, Cave has official announced its new project code-named “3jus” to be Sangoku Justice, a “spring war dramatic battle game” due out digitally for unannounced platform(s) in Japan in early spring 2018.

Famitsu App, a branch of Famitsu’s website that specializes in smartphone game, reported on this announcement. That said, it is likely this will turn out to be a smartphone game.

The game’s key staff members include:
