Plot
Killzone: Shadow Fall is set 30 years after the events of Killzone 3. Life on the Helghast home planet Helghan has been left in ruins; however, the war still goes on.The Interplanetary Strategic Alliance (ISA) allows Helghast refugees to resettle on planet Vekta. The Vektan and Helghast factions are living in a city which is divided by a large security wall. The Helghast are fighting for their right to exist, while the Vektans are fighting for survival, leading to a "Cold War" between Vektans and Helghast. The story is seen through the perspective of Lucas Kellan, an agent of the elite ISA special forces branch known as the Shadow Marshals.

PS4《杀戮地带》用掉1.5GB显存 PC作何感想?
一位名为Phil的《杀戮地带:暗影坠落》开发者在一个国外游戏网站上被问及游戏有没有用到2.2GB的显存时,他做出了明确的回答:“没那么多,大多数的套件现在也就用到了1.5GB的显存。”
PS4采用了GCN高速显存内存共享技术,也就是说打破了长久以来显存与内存之间的障壁,作为开发者可以随需分配8GB内存中显存以及内存所占的比重,给游戏画面的提升、贴图的精细度带来更大的可能。

传闻《杀戮地带 阴影坠落》单人模式开发完成
《杀戮地带:阴影坠落(Killzone: Shadow Fall)》是索尼在2月21日的PS4发布会上公布的系列新作,发布会上那惊人的即时演算画面至今还令人印象深刻。但发布会上游戏仅公布了一个雏形,具体的发售信息还未透露。而日前来自PushSquare的消称,该作的单人战役模式已经开发完成。
PushSquare网站的编辑发现了游戏制作人Steven ter Heide的Twitter上称他已经开始攻关游戏的单人战役模式了,于是PushSquare的编辑便向其Twitter留言问单人模式是否已经制作出基本的雏形了,Steven ter Heide则答道“已经一两个月了。”
但不幸的是PushSquare并未放出相关的图片,而Steven ter Heide的那条Twitter似乎也已经删除了,所以这则消息目前还不能确定。PS4主机预计在2013年圣诞节期间发售,而《杀戮地带:阴影坠落》有可能会是PS4首发游戏。

负责开发PS4游戏《杀戮地带:阴影坠落(Killzone: Shadow Fall)》Guerrilla Games工作室技术总监Michiel Van Der Leeuw日前表示索尼即将于2013年末发售的PS4主机非常平衡,毫无瓶颈。
Michiel Van Der Leeuw表示索尼PS4主机设计非常完美,开发者找不到任何限制开发的瓶颈。“事实就是我们现在有合适的内存,显卡,每一项都非常平衡,索尼这样做是非常刻意去努力的,内存的速度,电脑组件的数量,硬盘的速度,新主机毫无瓶颈。我认为只需要一年多一点的时间,我们就可以”
最好的PC硬件也都是一个个部件组成的,但是我们会发现相同配置的PC却往往比不上主机,PC就是部件的集合,当缺少一个部件的时候,就会很大影响PC性能,而索尼刻意的确保摒弃PC中存在的种种低效率设计。

Killzone: Shadow fall multiplayer unveiled at GamesCom
We’re thrilled to finally be able to show you Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer! We’ll go into details about the game’s exciting multiplayer features in a moment but first, have a look at our brand-new GamesCom multiplayer trailer to get a taste of the action.
Just like in the single player campaign, Killzone: Shadow Fall’s multiplayer gives you the freedom to play the game exactly how you want. Using the new customizable Warzone features demonstrated in the trailer, you can pick the number of players (4-24), rules, mission modes, classes, abilities and weapons you want to allow in a match, then save these choices as a preset to share with the rest of the Shadow Fall community.
With an ever-evolving selection of Warzone presets, you’ll have no trouble finding fresh and challenging online matches in Killzone: Shadow Fall. In addition, the community team will regularly highlight interesting new Warzone presets and introduce new options to customize and play with by means of expansion packs.
That’s not all, of course – we’ve worked hard to make sure Killzone: Shadow Fall will be a fun, competitive multiplayer experience that’s easy to get into, but difficult to master. There are now eight different rotating mission modes, four of which are new to Killzone: Shadow Fall. The game has three classes with unique abilities and 22 different weapons – all unlocked from the get-go, so you can determine for yourself how and in which order you want to specialize.
We’ve also redesigned our progression system to work with challenges rather than XP. There are over 1500 increasingly difficult challenges to complete in Killzone: Shadow Fall multiplayer, so you’ll have plenty of opportunity to prove your skills and collect rewards. 《杀戮地带:暗影堕落》多人模式帧数达到60FPS
在2013科隆展会期间,《杀戮地带:暗影堕落》多人模式公布,官方称游戏帧数将达到60FPS。这里就产生了一个疑问,PS4目前公布的大多数游戏都只有30FPS的帧率,而Guerrilla Games却突破了界限。
此外Guerrilla Games也透露了游戏中的3个职业,分别是侦查兵,即狙击手;突击兵,拥有强力的枪支;补给兵,带着医疗装备。
前两部杀戮地带都将PS3推向了巅峰,多人模式的FPS帧率有所不同,《杀戮地带:暗影堕落》多人模式流畅的60fps绝对能提升玩家的专注度。
单人战役模式将以30FPS运行,30FPS允许开发小组打造更好的视觉体验。
这款游戏是PS4首发作品之一,拭目以待。

Killzone: Shadow Fall Multiplayer Detailed ~ Part 1
Player Mechanics
Most of the player mechanics available in the single-player campaign are now also available in multiplayer. This includes the cover system that allows you to snap in to/lean out of/vault over cover, as well as the sliding mechanic. In addition, the brutal melee system has been expanded with drop-down melees as seen in the single-player playthrough.
Weapons
Multiplayer features 22 different weapons, all of them unlocked from the get-go. Your ability to master the weapons is key, as each weapon has very different dynamics. For an in-depth look at the new weapons, read our “Guerrilla Armory” articles about the StA-55 Assault Rifle, the VC-15 shotgun pistol, the M55 assault rifle and the VC-30 shotgun. More weapon articles are coming to Killzone.com soon!
Attachments
There are 19 different weapon attachments in multiplayer, unlocked by completing specific challenges. You can use these to extend the functionality of your weapons in a variety ways, from enhanced scopes to new ammo types to secondary fire options. Adding attachments that complement your playing style can greatly enhance your combat effectiveness.
Classes & Abilities
There are three distinct classes and 12 unique special abilities in multiplayer. Each of the classes can be enhanced with up to two special abilities, allowing for some highly specialized playing styles. We’ll cover the three classes and their available abilities in more detail in the coming weeks, but we can already reveal that there will be a Placeable Spawn Beacon ability.
Custom Warzones
Warzones, with their trademark rotating mission modes, return to multiplayer with supercharged customization features. There are eight mission modes in total, four of which are new to Killzone. More importantly, you can customize these modes to your heart’s content and share your favorite settings with the rest of the community. We will regularly highlight popular and interesting community-created Warzones for you to try out.
Combat Honors
Combat Honors are temporary bonuses that can be activated by earning enough points during a round. These bonuses stay active for as long you continue play - when your play session ends, you lose your Combat Honors. Combat Honor bonuses range from an increase to movement speed to reduction in recoil.
Post-Launch Support
We aim to keep the post-launch multiplayer experience fresh through the frequent release of paid DLC expansion packs that offer new gameplay and customization features. At the same time, all DLC multiplayer maps will be released free of charge to prevent the player base from becoming fractured.

Guerrilla Dossier: The Black Hand
The Killzone: Shadow Fall announce trailer gave you a glimpse of their agents and the devastation they left in their wake. But who are the Black Hand – and what are their sinister intentions? In this first installment of Guerrilla Dossier, we take a closer look at one of the factions threatening the stability of Vekta.
In the Killzone: Shadow Fall universe, the Black Hand are an emerging threat from the Helghan Sector – a splinter faction of radicals and zealots. Fueled by their anger at the destruction of Helghan in Killzone 3, they’ve sworn revenge against the “hypocrites of Vekta”, who they believe preach peace and co-existence but practice violence and oppression.
To exact their revenge, the Black Hand are attempting to force a return to all-out war. This puts them at odds with the government of New Helghan, who seek to avoid another conflict that would inevitably end in mutually assured destruction. The Black Hand mostly recruit from disgruntled elements with the Helghan military – those furious that their leadership chose to shelter with the Vektans rather than obliterate them – and take refuge in the slums of New Helghan.
Unlike the Helghast army, the Black Hand are an irregular force, specializing in acts of violence and sabotage. They’re mainly equipped with makeshift gear and weapons – surplus from the Second Extrasolar War – but curiously also possess modern mil-spec gear such as top-of-the-line infiltration projectors. As Shadow Marshal Lucas Kellan, the Black Hand are one more threat you’ll need to deal with to prevent the destabilization of the entire planet.

Killzone: Shadow Fall Multiplayer Detailed ~ Part 2
Progression System
Unlike previous Killzone games the multiplayer progression in Killzone Shadow Fall isn’t based on XP, but on Challenges. Completing a challenge adds a point to your rank, and rewards you with weapon attachments as well as enhancements to your abilities and visual identity. There will be more than 1500 challenges available when the game launches, ranging from straightforward (“Destroy 1 Turret”) to very specific (“Kill 1 enemy player with Laser Tripmine while they are carrying a Beacon”).
Combat Honors
Combat Honors are temporary bonuses that can be activated by earning enough points during a round. They’re stackable, and you can unlock as many Combat Honors as you put points into. They only last as long as your play session, however, meaning you’ll lose all combat honors when you quit playing. Of course, you can disable Combat Honors in your own Custom Warzones if you like.
Weapons & Attachments
Weapons can be augmented with up to two different attachment types at once. The number of attachments available for each weapon varies – for example, some guns won’t have room for a grenade launcher attachment, while others will be compatible with a range of grenade launcher attachments and ammo types. All weapons are skill-based – there will not be recoil-less or auto-aiming firearms.
Shields
As glimpsed in the Gamescom multiplayer trailer, players can now select the ability to deploy a smart nano-shields that block enemy attacks while allowing allied projectiles through. The nano-shields can be destroyed or knocked out with EMP weapon attachments, or simply deconstructed when no longer needed. As with all class abilities, players have the option of disabling nano-shields in their custom Warzones. We’ll cover the classes and their available abilities in more detail in the coming weeks.
Spotlight System
The Spotlight System allows you to celebrate your victory in style. At the end of each round, players are presented with a brief scene featuring the three top players from the winning side and the top player from the losing side. One of the winning players gets to select a Spotlight move to celebrate his victory over the losing player. If he fails to execute the move in time, the losing side has an opportunity to perform a countermove. The game ships with a wide selection of Spotlight moves, and more will be released after launch.
Warzone Leaderboards
In Killzone Shadow Fall, each warzone will have its own leaderboard. This doesn’t just apply to official or featured Warzones, but to custom ones as well. You can even choose which stats you want the leaderboard to be ranked on when you set up a custom Warzone, to encourage a particular form of play.
Online and Offline Bots
You can add bots to online matches for any Warzone you create. Human players can replace bots during the match, to ensure that there’s always a consistent amount of players present in the Warzone. You can even add bots to only one faction, to allow for ‘Bots vs. Humans’ type Warzones. In offline mode you can still create your own Warzones and play against bots, but you don’t have the ability to complete Challenges.
No Exoskeletons or Jetpacks
Owing to the decision to ensure that custom Warzone presets work on all multiplayer maps, there will be no Exoskeletons or Jetpacks in multiplayer when Killzone Shadow Fall launches. Their inclusion would introduce a wide number of new variables and exceptions to account for, and we want to focus on offering fair, reliable and consistent Warzone customizability.

《杀戮地带:阴影坠落》多人模式中玩家可选择三类基础职业:进攻类,侦查类,辅助类。每个类别的职业都有自己特殊的技能和打法,这次详解进攻类。
选择正面进攻的玩家通常需要冲到战斗最前沿,他们拥有可以选择的最强火力,在拥有强力火力的同时不能忽略防御,防御的主要能力是纳米盾,能让玩家临时产生一个能量盾在前方,这样敌人的火力就无法穿透,但是己方火力仍可穿透。
出去纳米盾之外还可以在另外三种能力中选择一个学习。
总体:
-突击兵主要负责进攻
-共有五种基本武器可以选
-纳米盾是该职业顶级的防御装备
-纳米盾可以暂时释放出一个能量场,阻挡敌人的攻击,但可以让友军的火力通过
-突击兵有三种次要能力:冲锋、眩晕、无人机
-弱点是一个放置得当的EMP脉冲就可以对纳米盾以及无人机造成极大的伤害
次要能力:
冲锋(Speed Dash)
-短时间内增加移动速度
-在一些需要抢占先机的任务中非常有用
-当弹药补给和生命值比较低的时候,也可以迅速溜之大吉
眩晕(Stun Blast)
-暂时眩晕并致盲周围的敌人
-可以用来削弱敌人的反抗能力,使其成为活靶子
-遇到强敌或是多个方向的敌人时,这招很有用
无人机(Buddy Drone)
-布置一架战斗无人机,他会自动攻击周围的敌人
-应对混战很有效
-可以自定义无人机的外观,有不同的皮肤

索尼日前向Eurogamer表示,即将上市的PS4独占FPS游戏《杀戮地带:暗影坠落》文件体积高达50GB。PS4本身内置500GB的硬盘,当然这个空间是可以升级的。
该消息是从索尼英国地区总经理Fergal Garea在一场关于数字下载逐渐超过物理媒体的讨论中透露的。

《杀戮地带:阴影坠落》多人模式侦察兵详解
继上个月介绍了《杀戮地带:阴影坠落》的多人游戏中的兵种后此次带来《杀戮地带:阴影坠落》中侦察兵的介绍。
侦察兵通常需要耐心等待然后出其不意高效的击杀不管是远程还是近处,同时还不能被发现,因此他们的隐身能力得到进一步的提升。但是隐身披风只能配合战斗小刀使用,大型武器会让隐身效果消失。除了这个主要能力之外还能在三个能力之中选择一个。
战术雷达
该能力能让玩家发出雷达脉冲,暂时让所有玩家都显示在地图上包括隐身状态的敌人都可侦测到。
紧急瞬移
和重生信标使用相同原理,允许玩家随即传送到地图的某一地方,当然传输装置需要很长一段的充电时间。
眩晕无人机
眩晕无人机能在一定的范围内引爆后释放电子脉冲让敌人失去战斗力。
虽然侦察兵在战场上一个人就可以生存下来,但是真正的侦察兵直到如何用自己的能力为团队提供帮助。战术雷达能让同伴们也能看到敌人的位置,是非常有效的辅助手段。能让己方团队在战斗中占据相当大的优势。

- Armed for long-distance takedowns and clean, efficient kills
- Scout players are usually difficult to spot in battle until it’s too late
- Scouts’ stealth capabilities are further enhanced by the Cloak ability
- This renders Scouts all but invisible at a distance when activated
- The new phase-shifting tech used for the Cloak ability has its limits
- It can only be used in conjunction with a combat knife, as larger weapons will disrupt the effect
- Secondary abilities: Tactical Echo, Emergency Teleport, Stun Drone
Tactical Echo
The Tactical Echo ability lets Scout players send out a radar pulse that temporarily highlights all enemy troops and automata within range – even other Scouts using the Cloak ability. This information is then relayed to allied HUDs and radars.
Emergency Teleport
Based on the same technology that lets Spawn Beacons to teleport troops into battle, the Emergency Teleport ability allows Scout players to teleport to a random part of the map when they run into trouble. However, the teleportation device has a lengthy recharge time.
Stun Drone
The Stun Drone ability deploys a flying combat drone that waits in an area until it
detects an enemy nearby. When attacking, it flies directly at the enemy and detonates an E-Pulse that temporarily blinds and stuns them.

Killzone: Shadow Fall Support class detailed
Presenting the Support Class
The primary ability of the Support Class is the Revive Drone, which deploys a hovering medical robot that can resuscitate critically wounded comrades. Dying team mates who accept medical treatment and are successfully revived will receive full health with additional ammo and a temporary 25% health boost. They also avoid losing a life and having to start over from the spawn point – which can make all the difference during intense matches, particularly in custom Warzones with limited lives turned on.
Unlike the Assault and Scout players, which both have three secondary abilities to choose from, the Support players can choose from five secondary abilities:
Air Support Drone
The Air Support Drone ability deploys a flying combat drone that protects the area indicated by the Support player and unleashes minigun fire on any enemies that get close.
Spawn Beacon
The Spawn Beacon ability sets up a temporary in-field spawn point for team mates. Spawn Beacons can be placed almost anywhere in the map, but it takes a while to install them and they’re vulnerable to enemy fire.
Turret
The Turret ability deploys a sentry turret that will automatically target enemies in its forward facing field of view. While not indestructible, sentry turrets are ideal for guarding choke points and defending mission-critical areas.
Supply Box
This ability lets Support Class players set up a Supply Box, which team members can use to stock up on health and ammo. The box can be destroyed by enemy players.
Support Teleport
The Support Teleport ability allows Support Class players to teleport directly to a team mate in need of medical or tactical assistance. The teleportation device has a lengthy recharge time after each use.
Fulfilling the crucial supporting roles that enable other players to complete objectives and continue to fight, Support players form the backbone of any successful team. Advanced Support players will pay close attention to the flow of battle and the current mission objectives, adjusting their secondary abilities between spawns if necessary.

《杀戮地带:阴影坠落》相信会成为PS4首发游戏阵容中最受关注的一款,而日前有关游戏的进一步细节也渐渐浮出水面,游戏的制作人Steven ter Heide在PS官方博客中写到,《杀戮地带:阴影坠落》单机战役的游戏时间通常会超过10个小时。
对于大部分玩家来说,战役大概要打超过10小时,而为了延长游戏的寿命,本作中还包含了在线多人对战模式,Heide表示游戏会建立专门的服务器来处理玩家们之间的数据传输。在首发是,玩家可以在多人模式中使用22种武器,而随后还会有更多的武器解锁,玩家可以通过挑战模式来解锁武器。

Guerrilla Games今天在一次采访中确认,由他们制作的《杀戮地带:暗影坠落》的游戏大小为39.7GB。
Guerrilla Games表示,39.7GB是游戏的欧洲版本的大小,同时还指出其他语言版本的大小会接近37GB。作为对比,Infinity Ward最近宣布《使命召唤10:幽灵》的PC版本大小为40GB。

Guerrilla Games says the game’s large file size can be largely attributed to high-quality art assets. Still, Shadow Fall’s file size has been fully optimized.
40GB isn’t anywhere near 290GB, but it’s still fairly large. In order to smooth out the download process, players can begin the experience as soon as 7.5GB has been collected on the PS4′s hard drive.
There’s one final, important note about Killzone: Shadow Fall – there are no in-game load times (except for an initial 30 seconds). There are also no logos or splash screens that you’d normally see during the start-up of a game.

first free killzone shadow fall mp maps revealed
Today we’re giving you a sneak peak at the first pair of downloadable multiplayer maps for Killzone Shadow Fall, inspired by key locations from the single-player campaign. The maps will be released to the community free of charge, and will be fully compatible with Killzone Shadow Fall’s Custom Warzone feature.
First up is The Cruiser, a close-to-mid-range combat map set in the confines of a decommissioned ISA cruiser. Consisting of tight, claustrophobic corridors and interconnected compartments, the key to dominating this map is identifying and controlling its choke points.
Next is The Hangar, a wide-open map situated in the hangar bay of one of Helghan’s humongous mining spires. In addition to the main area, which offers long lines of sight suitable for sniping, the map contains alternative routes that will need to be secured for full control.
Apart from The Cruiser and The Hanger multiplayer maps, we’re also working on the first DLC expansion pack for Killzone Shadow Fall. We’ll have more information on what it entails and when it’s available in the near future. There’s a whole season of exciting multiplayer content coming to Killzone Shadow Fall, so be sure to pick up the Season Pass!

We are very excited to announce the details of Killzone Shadow Fall’s first multiplayer expansion: The Insurgent Pack.
The expansion pack is full of exciting new features for multiplayer including a brand new Character Class, 3 new abilities, 3 new weapons and 2 new game modes.
The Helghast government has been secretly funding The Black Hand, the operatives of which have been infiltrating Vekta City. The VSA has also started a programme that sends saboteurs disguised as refugees to the Helghast side of the wall. These insurgents are playable for the first time in the brand new Insurgent Expansion, which includes:
The Insurgent – a brand new class with two unique abilities: Hack and Steal
The insurgent starts with just a pistol and his wits about him. As vulnerable as he is, he can slowly build up his arsenal in the game by using [Steal] to steal weapons and abilities from downed enemies, which enables him to use those weapons throughout the game, even if he falls in combat. By Using [Hack] he can change enemy ground automata into friendlies, turning the tide of battle quite swiftly.
3 New Abilities – The Scout, Support and Assault also get additional abilities
• E-Pulse emitter – a deployable beacon that sends out an e-pulse making it difficult for enemy units to install automata in that area
• Tactical Echo emitter – a deployable beacon that send out a Tactical Echo from a fixed location making the area hard to infiltrate by hidden enemy units
• Guard Drone – The Assault gets a stationary Buddy drone; deploy it in one place and it guards the location from a ground level.
3 New Weapons – Welcome old friends and new with this pack of weapons for the Scout, Assault and Support
• M82 – the classic assault rifle of choice from Killzone 2 and 3 is back!

Killzone Shadow Fall Insurgent Pack Out Today/
Today marks the release of the Insurgent Pack, the first major multiplayer expansion pack for Killzone Shadow Fall. In addition to the new Insurgent character class, this pack adds a ton of exciting new content to the Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer experience.
Here’s a full breakdown of everything you’ll get with the Insurgent Pack.
The Insurgent
The Insurgent is a brand new multiplayer class with two unique abilities: Steal and Hack.
• Steal ability: The Insurgent starts out with only a pistol, but his ‘Steal’ ability allows him to swipe weapons and abilities from downed enemies. The use of stolen abilities is limited, but the Insurgent can continue to use stolen weapons throughout the game – even if he falls in combat.
• Hack ability: By using the ‘Hack’ ability, the Insurgent can change enemy ground automata into friendlies, swiftly turning the tide of battle.
3 New Abilities
The Assault, Support and Scout classes receive additional abilities, which have been balanced against the existing counters and abilities:
• E-Pulse Emitter: A deployable beacon for the Assault class that sends out an E-Pulse, making it difficult for enemy units to install automata in that area.
• Tactical Echo Emitter: A deployable beacon for the Support class that sends out a Tactical Echo from a fixed location, making the area hard to infiltrate by hidden enemy units.
• Guard Drone: A stationary buddy drone for the Scout class – deploy it in one place and it guards the location from a ground level.
3 New Weapons
These classic Killzone weapons are added for the Scout, Assault and Support classes. When dropped, other players can use them as well.
• M82: The legendary ISA assault rifle makes a triumphant return for the Support!
• StA-14: A sturdy Helghast battle rifle for the long-range combat arsenal of the Scout.
• LS12 SMG Pistol: Also known as the M66, this sidearm for the Assault packs considerable punch.
2 New Game Modes
• Campaign Elite Mode: The nightmarish difficulty of the Elite Mode will test even the hardest of warriors. Can you beat Killzone Shadow Fall’s single player campaign on the hardest difficulty level with only three lives?
• Multiplayer Collectibles Mode: Insurgent Pack owners can hunt for online collectible crates during matches to earn points and win in-game rewards!

Free Killzone Shadow Fall map ‘The Canyon’ launches today
Today sees the arrival of ‘The Canyon’, the latest freely downloadable multiplayer map for Killzone Shadow Fall. Situated deep within one of the Petrusite fissures scarring planet Helghan, The Canyon is all that remains of the once-stately palatial quarters in the city of Pyrrhus.
Held in place by struts and bridges, this precariously balanced range of rock and crumbling infrastructure now serves a new purpose for the Helghast. Enormous mechanical pumps pierce the cityscape, syphoning the Petrusite that seeps up from the fissure to the surrounding mining spires.
The Canyon includes plenty of tight spaces for tense close-quarters combat, as well as more open areas that require quick thinking and sharp shooting. Players preferring a stealthy approach will want to use the narrow routes on the extremes of the map – just don’t get to close to the edge, because it’s a long way down!
Unique amongst all existing maps for Killzone Shadow Fall, The Canyon also introduces a new gameplay element to the multiplayer mix: gravity wells. Consisting of anomalous spaces where the planet’s gravity field is severely distorted, these wells allow players to ‘fall’ upwards to quickly reach different areas.

《杀戮地带:阴影坠落》即将发布最新DLC“Intercept”,日前索尼官方博客放出了本次DLC的更多情报:本次DLC将加入线上四人合作模式。
该模式最多允许4名玩家一起完成任务。玩家可以选择近战突袭兵、中远程射手、医务兵和战略师四个角色中的一个,与同伴合作抵抗Helghast的入侵并且破解关键数据。玩家的得分和完成任务的速度取决于小组合作的默契程度。
“Intercept”将包含四张全新地图,将在6月份放出,持有季卡的用户可以免费下载,单独购买的售价目前还未公开。
Intercept Adds Online Co-Op Action To Killzone Shadow Fall
Today we’re pleased to announce Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept, the next big DLC expansion pack for Killzone Shadow Fall. Slated for a June release, this pack adds a brand new, four player online co-op mode to the game.
Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept places you and up to three of your friends on the elite VSA team known as Intelligence Squad Alpha. Operating behind enemy lines, your team is on a mission to intercept and relay Helghast military transmissions back to VSA headquarters. To succeed, you’ll need to keep Helghast interlopers at bay long enough to establish a Hacking Uplink and transmit the data. Thankfully, the members of your team have all been trained in unique Combat Roles – from close-quarters Assault and mid-to-long range Marksman roles to supportive Medic and Tactician roles.
To successfully fend off the enemy and transmit the intel back to HQ, teamwork is absolutely essential. Your Team Score indicates how close you are to establishing a Hacking Uplink; increase it by defending your Uplinks from Helghast capture attempts, or by “banking” the Personal Score you’ve accumulated from kills, ability uses and recaptures. You can even earn bonuses such as artillery strikes and jetpacks! Always be on your guard, though: if you lose an Uplink to the enemy or have to respawn after critical injury, your Team Score will incur a penalty. If all members of your team are dead and your Team Score is too low to allow respawning, the mission is a failure.
Just like the members of Intelligence Squad Alpha, the AI-controlled Helghast enemies in Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept have their own sets of goals and Combat Roles. They will switch up tactics and angles of attack when they capture an Uplink, so you’ll need to adapt your defense strategy accordingly. On top of that, the enemy can call on special Helghast champions with unique abilities, based on key Killzone Shadow Fall characters. Expect to go up against some very familiar faces…
Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept comes with four arena maps inspired by locations from the single player campaign, and launches this June. It will be available for free for Season Pass holders. A standalone version of the co-op experience will also be available later this year. We’ll have more in-depth information on Combat Roles, maps and tactics for the co-op mode in the coming week, so stay tuned to Killzone.com!

Killzone Shadow Fall: 2 Free New Maps Out Today
Today sees the arrival of The Terminal and Stormgracht, two freely downloadable multiplayer maps for Killzone Shadow Fall. The Terminal is situated inside the Wall on the New Helghan side while Stormgracht is set in the toxic industrial area of the planet.
The Terminal
Set inside the vast partition wall on the New Helghan side of No Man’s Land, The Terminal is not the kind of station you would ever wish to find yourself in. Part defense facility, part prison complex, this foreboding place is linked by a series of rail systems, through which the trains run relentlessly at breakneck speed.
On one side of the station lies the armory control center, from where the entire station’s defenses are monitored. Nearby, huge automated AA guns watch constantly over the bridge that leads to the Vektan side of the city.
On the other, a series of grim and foreboding holding cells await the unfortunate detainees who arrive at the outside platform. Here, their goods and personal effects are stripped from them and dumped carelessly before they are either imprisoned or taken for further “questioning”.
With numerous platforms and floors to explore, this level will really test players’ navigational skills. Watch out for the precarious routes that line the train tracks themselves – these narrow ladders and staircases may be the key to your success or failure.
Above and beyond all, beware the trains… nothing that lays in their path will withstand their vicious velocity.
The Stormgracht
Carving its way through the toxic industrial area of New Helghan, the Stormgracht is a maze of broken and discarded junk that the floodwaters have washed down over the years.
Dominating the main central channel, the ancient spillway gates hold back a vast manmade reservoir, and can still be opened in order to flush the Stormgracht. The raging torrent that ensues will destroy anything and everyone in its path, unless safe ground can be reached either above water level or inside the Gracht’s walls.
On one side of the Gracht the interior space houses a network of antiquated treatment systems, which can still be seen churning away beneath the walkways. The wall on the other side of the channel has become so silted-up that it can no longer be used, and it is here that exiled citizens from Vekta City have retreated, desperate to escape the oppression of New Helghan rule. In these vile conditions they barely manage to eke out an existence, but have nonetheless managed to transform their surroundings into a shanty town where they may shelter.
Spaces within the walls are cramped, but multiple routes devised from tunnels and pipes provide plenty of opportunity for players to move stealthily throughout all the interior areas. In stark contrast, the central channel itself is largely exposed, and those players willing to take the risk will find plenty of great spots for sniping. However, the deliberate lack of cover means that they may in turn leave themselves vulnerable.
The Stormgracht will challenge player’s tactical abilities to the extreme, as the gameplay continually shifts with every opening of the floodgates. We hope you remembered your bathing suit.

New free multiplayer maps now available for Killzone Shadow Fall
A new batch of free maps for Killzone Shadow Fall multiplayer and Killzone Shadow Fall Intercept are available now via PlayStation Store! Fight against the enemy team on the new “The Statue” competitive multiplayer map, or co-operate with your friends on “The ATAC Tower” and “The Canal” co-op maps.
The Statue – competitive multiplayer map
After a cataclysmic explosion laid waste to their precious monument, the Helghast embarked on the massive task of reconstructing the Scolar Visari memorial statue and the adjacent armoury building. While the recreational wing of the facility is largely completed, the armory itself is still covered in scaffolding and building equipment.
Choose your base exit carefully on this map, as there are many different routes providing fast and easy access to all extremes of the combat area. The warren of interconnecting rooms will allow for clever flanking manoeuvres once you know your way around, and you can gain an additional advantage by maintaining control of the large mechanical doors.
The ATAC Tower – cooperative map
Perched inside the Helghast security wall, the ATAC Tower functions as a base for the ATAC drones patrolling New Helghan’s borders. The drones have proven to be an effective deterrent against Vektan invaders and Helghast defectors, so the VSA is sending in Intelligence Squad Alpha to secure the tower. Their orders are to establish an uplink and transmit the ATAC control codes back to HQ – but they’ll have to fight with their backs to the wall to hold off the Helghast forces converging on their position.
The Canal – cooperative map
Fallen into disuse after the New Helghan government abandoned hydroelectric power, the Canal has become an overgrown riverbed filled with discarded junk and debris. A key VSA informant used one of the abandoned treatment facilities along the banks as a hideout before disappearing, so now it’s up to Intelligence Squad Alpha to send the collected intel back to Vekta. But it won’t be easy – Helghast security has discovered the hideout as well, and they’ll do anything to prevent Alpha from establishing an uplink.
