Minecraft Story Mode Season 2 Officially Announced

　　今日，Telltale Games在推特上正式宣布《我的世界：故事模式第二季》将于7月11日发售，游戏将登陆Xbox One/PS4/PC/Mac/iOS/Android平台。

　　这款游戏为《我的世界：故事模式》的续作。本作的玩法与前作大体一致，玩家可以选择自己喜欢的玩法来推动剧情的发展。



'Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2' from Telltale Games and Mojang Premieres July 11

Award-winning developer and publisher of digital entertainment Telltale Games and world-renowned game developer Mojang today announced that Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 is in development and set to premiere with Episode 1: Hero In Residence for download starting July 11, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices.

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 continues Jesse's saga in a five-part, narrative-driven, episodic game series developed by Telltale in collaboration with Mojang and members of the Minecraft community. Though players' choices from the first season will carry over into season two, this new season will be accessible to both returning fans and newcomers alike. This second season will also include Telltale's unique multiplayer 'Crowd Play' feature, which allows friends and family to engage with the adventure together by helping to decide the direction of the story from any mobile device with an online connection.







Now that Jesse and the gang have vanquished the Wither Storm, saved the world, and become totally super famous heroes, life has gotten a bit more...complicated. With more responsibilities and less time for adventure, old friendships have started to fade - at least until Jesse's hand gets stuck in a creepy gauntlet that belongs to an ancient underwater temple. Together with old pals and new comrades alike, Jesse embarks on a brand new journey filled with tough choices, good times, and at least one temperamental llama.

This season will feature voice work from Patton Oswalt, Catherine Taber, Ashley Johnson, and Scott Porter, as well as cameos from Stampy Cat, stacyplays, and other personalities from the Minecraft community on YouTube. Additional casting details for the season are yet to be announced.





Season one of Minecraft: Story Mode was met with widespread critical acclaim. Polygon declared the series "a grand adventure in the universe of Minecraft," while Wired UK said it "brilliantly channels its source material." Kotaku UK called it "a triumph." The Guardian said the series "will delight Minecraft veterans young and old alike," while GameSpot called it "a charming, winning adventure for both fans and newbies to the world of Minecraft."

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 will be a standalone product separate from both the core Minecraft game and season one of Minecraft: Story Mode. Season two will be available for download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices. A retail version on disc will become available this fall. The series is currently in development and has not yet been rated by the ESRB.

　　Telltale工作室公布了《我的世界：故事模式 第二季》第一章“Hero in Residence”的预告片。在这一章中，我们所熟悉的Jesse将和伙伴展开一段全新的冒险，这段旅程同样充满着危险和各种各样的可能性。

　　在第一季的故事中，Jesse和他的朋友们拯救了世界，随后他们成为了远近闻名的大英雄，这给它们的生活带来了不小的变化。随着责任的变多、冒险的减少，来朋友们之间的友情开始淡却。某一天，Jesse在一个水下神殿中把手卡在了一个神秘的物品中。为了解除自己的危机，他和老朋友、新伙伴一起踏上了新的旅程。

　　在此前作品中出现的，能够支持多名玩家共同做出选择的“Crowd Play”功能也将在第二季中登场。上一季中玩家所做出的选择也将在这一季中体现出来。当然，即使没有玩过前作的玩家也能够很好的上手本作。

　　《我的世界：故事模式 第二季》共分为五章，其第一章将在2017年7月11日正式上市，届时将登陆PS4、Xbox One、Xbox 360、PC以及移动设备。

This trailer focuses on the upcoming first episode, Hero in Residence, which will be available for download starting July 11, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices. Players will be able to purchase the episode for PC from Telltale's online store starting at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time on July 11. It will also become available through Steam and other digital storefronts later that same day.

Telltale's 'Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two' Continues August 15; First Season Debuts on Nintendo Switch August 22

Today our team at Telltale Games, along with our friends at Mojang, announced that episode two of Minecraft: Story Mode - Season Two will premiere on August 15, 2017. The episode, entitled 'Giant Consequences,' will be available for download on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android-based devices.

Jesse and the gang survived the Sea Temple, but they brought home a little more than they bargained for: a lost adventurer, a powerful device, and a colossal enemy capable of grinding Beacontown to dust. There may be more to this fearsome foe than meets the eye, but to find out, Jesse - together with a few trusty friends - must embark on another adventure, this time into the icy unknown...

Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 2 continues Jesse's saga in a five-part series developed by Telltale in collaboration with Mojang and members of the Minecraft community. This second season includes Telltale's unique multiplayer 'Crowd Play' feature, which allows friends and family to engage with the adventure together by helping to decide the direction of the story from any mobile device with an online connection.

Telltale also confirmed today that Minecraft: Story Mode - The Complete Adventure will be available on Nintendo Switch starting August 22, 2017 in North America and August 25 in Europe and other regions. Available as both a digital download and a physical cartridge at retail, 'The Complete Adventure'includes all eight episodes from the first season of Minecraft: Story Mode: five episodes from the original season pass, plus the three bonus episodes from the 'Adventure Pass' add-on series.

In Minecraft: Story Mode, players embark on a perilous adventure across the Overworld, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. While attempting to enter EnderCon and meet Gabriel the Warrior, Jesse and friends discover that something is wrong... something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, forcing Jesse to set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone in hopes of saving the world from oblivion.
