标题: Google涉足DNS业务与OpenDNS展开竞争(还有教程）
据悉，Google Public DNS服务尚处于试验阶段，用户如果想使用它，必须修改网络设置，这样他们的网站访问请求才会被转向Google服务而不是ISP商。Google已建立了专门网页来指导用户如何设置使用该服务。
Google的这项新服务将直接与红杉资本(Sequoia Capital)和风险投资公司(Greylock Partners )支持的OpenDNS服务展开竞争。据悉，OpenDNS至今已经推出4年，目前每天解析200亿次DNS查询，拥有150万最终用户。2008年，OpenDNS日均DNS查询量仅为70亿，但是已经实现日进2万美元收入。
分析认为，从理论上讲，Google的这项新服务将为用户带来更快、更稳定的浏览体验，以及针对恶意软件网站的安全保护；谷歌所将获得的好处则是海量的数据，以及高额的潜在收入。

DNS settings are specified in the TCP/IP Properties window for the selected network connection.
Example: Changing DNS server settings on Microsoft Windows Vista
Go the Control Panel.
Click Network and Internet, then Network and Sharing Center, then Manage network connections.
Select the connection for which you want to configure Google Public DNS. For example:
To change the settings for an Ethernet connection, right-click Local Area Connection, and click Properties.
To change the settings for a wireless connection, right-click Wireless Network Connection, and click Properties.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
Select the Networking tab. Under This connection uses the following items, click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties.
Click Advanced and select the DNS tab. If there are any DNS server IP addresses listed there, write them down for future reference, and remove them from this window.
Click OK.
Select Use the following DNS server addresses. If there are any IP addresses listed in the Preferred DNS server or Alternate DNS server, write them down for future reference.
Replace those addresses with the IP addresses of the Google DNS servers: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.
Restart the connection you selected in step 3.
Repeat the procedure for additional network connections you want to change.

还可以用Google的DNS，
像我们用P1只能用他们P1自己的DNS罢了，

google dns 最快。。。

DNS 名为 Domain Name Service. 因为人无法记得数码（12.23.35.30），所以推出DNS这个服务.
他的功能就是把名字改成数码.

例如，
Name: www google com
Addresses:  2607:f8b0:400f:800::1010
      74.125.225.177
      74.125.225.178
      74.125.225.179
      74.125.225.180
      74.125.225.176

在网络的世界，电脑与电脑的沟通只有数码.
而人无法背起所有网站的数码，所以只好麻烦DNS了.

为什么Streamyx的用户无法顺利到达一些些的网站呢？
因为
1. DNS服务器过慢/繁忙而遗忘了你的要求,导致你无法登陆一些的网站.
2. Streamyx DNS服务器静止你所要求的网站.

这两都是属于Streamyx的，
202.188.0.133， 202.188.0.132
而大多的用户都使用着.

多谢Google推出了他们的DNS服务器，让我们想去那个网站都可以.
