-that is one of my favourite subject

-i don't think that has any drawback on it

i really like to speak in englsih
but nobody wants to communicate in english....
i would like to have a certificate of A level in order to work at singapore...
but..can it come true...?

it is neither difficult nor easy to learn a language. it depends. though, in my case, it would be difficult to SCORE because of my scarce vocabulary. (i'm taking o level)

What do you think about English - this international language?
i don't like any languages in the first place. so what english is the lingua franca of the world! i don't care. XD

Do you think English is essential to learn?
i wish i could say no, which is impossible.

Is mastering English important to our life?
again, i wish i could say no, which is impossible.

What are the advantages of mastering English?
1)you can work in a multinational company(?)---english is not really mandatory for one to work in a MNC.
2)you have a higher rate of employment(?)---well, you are proficient in more than one language.
3)you won't have language barrier when traveling to english-speaking countries.
4) many many more........

What are the DISADVANTAGES of MASTERING English?
1) most likely, your command of another language is very lousy. i guess this is a trend?
2)you will neglect another language. this point is similar to the first point. XD . Human beings tend to speak in the language that they mastered.

No matter how good you're in English, if you don't use it, you'll lose it.

No one is bornt to be talented in anything, it's all about hardwork.

English is Important, but not the ONLY important language.
Speaking English is cool, but If you think you can only speak English is cool, you're wrong.

If you can master English well, it's definately an advantage.

But at the same time, do not forget your mother tongue.

its hard to learn
bcoz of the grammar

at 1st,i don't think it is.
but when i entered secondary life,i realised english is actually very important to us.

able to communicate with everyone,it brings alot of advantages that's all.

none until now.
but now i trying to master more language

I think that i learn many vocabluary by watching the subtitles of the news at 9:30 pm everyday on channel 5,i find tht they had lots of good words,which will increase my vocabluary

I think the vocabulary is the biggest problem to me~

grammar is v confusing~
english plays an emtremely important role in the world nowadays.
however,following the development of China, Mandarin has emerged as an another inportant language to learn. it may even be as important as English in one day time since the western countries are nw facing credit crisis

Nowadays, english is very useful language because it is international language.
But some of the Malaysian thought that who speak english means high class and "high nose".
I hate that. I speak english then that's mean i am very high nose???

Yes,of course,if we don`t think this language is important to learn then we will lose the change to get a job especially in this era English has play an important role in communication .if we are not able to communicate with customer for example,then we will lose some customer and customer will laugh us...

Definitely,we can get to know a lot of friends from every country in this world.

more employable,more friends,more confident,more look up by others,and many other.......
What are the disadvantages of mastering English?
i don`t think mastering more than 1 language whether english or other languages has its disadvantages...

of coz it is very important..
there are too many bilingual and even trilingual now
even Chinese they can speak fluently nowadays..
and if u want to hold a high position when u work
english is really important
there is nothing impossible
so try to learn..

Frankly, English could be an easy language, or a difficult language..
For me, it is... Easy, but difficult too =,=
My dad always ask me to use proper english when i'm sms-ing with others...
No room for short form...
But i was mandarin-educated since i was borned...
So there is some problems when im conversing with others in english,,
Sometimes when im speaking, i will be speachless...
my brain will suddenly blank ones..
lolz...
Anyway, PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT..
this is what my additional mathematics teacher told me last week XD
If you want to learn, have the will to learn, and willing to learn, then you can master it...
if you wanna learn but you never practise... then just forget it..

I'm choosing 7th, Easy to learn because I have the grammar basics....
Since i was small, my mum let me tuition for english with a teacher who came from England...
Somemore, staying at Australia for a year, so it makes me more interest in english...
Although i knew the basic of english, but now, i still keep on learning english, especially for the vocabulary...... Many Vocab still need to learn.....

It's pretty easy for me to learn because i am provided the environment to learn and master english language.

i used to studying and memorizing lots and lots of vocab during my high school days in foon yew. i did it because i wanted to master English language, all by self-willingness.

To me grammar is tough but the way of express is way important than u settle grammar.
If u speak with those ang mo ... hardly catch them up and will feel ... shame

But quite lazy to refer to dictionary when met the unknown alphabets.

For me, watching English dramas and movies are the best for me, no pain yet gain. LOL, just kidding.

What I'll/I'd learn from there are mostly American English though.

But it's really cool to see what they used in their style, many interesting sentences too.
