由《恶魔城 X:月下夜想曲》制作人五十岚孝司发起募资制作的《恶魔城》风格原创新作动作游戏 PS4 / Xbox One / Wii U / PC《血咒之城:暗夜仪式(Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night)》,在募资网站上公布了第 4 波开发进度更新影片,同时宣布将于下周的 E3 展中出 PC 试玩版。
We've got an important development update from IGA this week, and we wanted to make sure the backers were the first to hear it. In short: To ensure the game meets his quality standards, IGA is bringing on additional developers and has moved his estimate for the game's release back to the first half of 2018.
Koji Igarashi: "The last thing I want to do is keep our backers waiting, but after receiving such incredible support, I feel responsible for delivering the best product I possibly can. Again, I offer my sincerest apologies."
All of us on the campaign and development sides of the team are looking forward to playing the finished game as soon as we can, but as IGA says, we also want this game to be "done right the first time."
We'll continue to keep you updated on the development process every step of the way. (In fact, the next regularly scheduled update, featuring some songs and commentary from Michiru Yamane, is just about ready to go. And as IGA mentioned, you can expect more news about the development process as soon as it's available.)

October Update: IGA finds a publisher
We've got news! And we wanted to get this to you as soon as possible, so we're breaking into our usual update schedule to report that:
A publisher has signed onto the Bloodstained project: We'll be working with 505 Games. They put together a video with IGA to make the announcement (and also show off some new footage of the game).
As you can see, one of the first things a publisher can help out with is action-packed video production.
Like IGA said from the beginning, none of this would be possible without the campaign all of you helped to build. We're excited to bring it to a wider audience, too, but everybody on the team is here to help IGA build the game you (and he) wanted from the start.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has added DICO and Monobit to its development studios. The game is mainly in development at Azure Striker Gunvolt studio Inti Creates.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Wii U, PC, and PS Vita in the first half of 2018.

Bloodstained Development Update - The Village by the Castle
Koji Igarashi: Last update we shared how we build the environment, so for this update, we would like to introduce you to a new stage based on that method. Previously, we shared the ship and the castle entrance. I would like to introduce you to the village this time.
As we mentioned at the beginning of our Kickstarter campaign, Bloodstained takes place in a castle! So now you're probably thinking, "What's this, a village?"
I thought so, too, but yes: We have a village. In the narrative, we're still headed to the island where the castle emerged. There's a village nearby that we'll have to pass through on our way to the castle entrance.
As you can tell from the video, the village is red, which has nothing to do with Christmas! During the eruption of the Laki volcanic fissure in 1783 and 1784, "the afternoon sky was dark as night and red as blood," according to a contemporary saying from Hampshire, England. So we tried to express that in the afternoon scene you see here.
Building your visuals from a piece of historical data makes the world more realistic. (The internet is so useful!) The village is also under the demons' attack, so of course there will be enemies here. We are also planning to put a shop here to support the player, and you'll find Johannes, who we introduced previously, here too.
In addition to Johannes...Oh, we can't quite tell you yet, but you'll hear more about them in our later updates. Please look forward to it.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night will be released for Switch. The news comes via a Nintendo News notice sent to European Switch owners.
The news update highlights “more than 60 quality indie games confirmed for Nintendo Switch throughout 2017.” It features logos for all of the indie games confirmed last week in addition to the Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night logo.

Dominique Baldwin (Age: 25)
An exorcist dispatched by the church, she supports Miriam as the shopkeeper. She speaks in a posh way, but she treats everyone kindly. While the church believes Miriam and Gebel to be demons, Dominique trusts them as human beings. In order to foil Gebel’s ambitions, she asks her old friend Johannes to summon Miriam.
Alfred (Age: 57)
Alfred is one of the alchemists responsible for the demon-summoning uproar ten years ago. He was Johannes’s mentor, and a father figure to both Johannes and Miriam, but he’s lost his former self as he heads to the castle seeking the Book of Logaeth in Gebel’s possession. Quite and intelligent, Alfred’s alchemic ability was unmatched even among his fellow alchemists.
Anne Knolles (Age: 12)
A village girl whose parents were murdered. Anne was saved by Dominique and Miriam when demons attacked her village. When Dominique is out of town, Anne looks after the shop. She is a bright and cheerful girl.

The latest Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night development update includes gameplay of a new courtyard area and battle against a character named Zangestu.
Here’s creator Koji Igarashi on the new footage:
Courtyards are just as important to an IGAvania as castles, right? Maybe not? Well, this time the courtyard is a very important part of the game, and that’s why we’re sharing a look at this area.
Zangetsu is a samurai character we’ve previously announced. He resents anyone and anything tainted by demonic power. As a result, he’s hostile toward Miriam, whose existence is directly connected to the demon ritual. This is also a new stage we’re introducing for the first time.

Inti Creates has delayed the worldwide Xbox One and European 3DS versions of its recently announced Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon from their previously planned May 24 release date.
The 3DS version will now launch on May 31 in Europe, while the Xbox One version will launch on June 6 worldwide.
Here is the full message from Inti Creates:
It is very unfortunate that we have to report this, but for Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon, the game will release on 3DS in Europe on May 31st, and worldwide on Xbox One on June 6th.
For us at Inti Creates, this is the first time we have ever done such a large-scale multiplatform, multi-region simultaneous release for a game, and we were unable to properly take into account how much time would be required to get each platform’s online store set-up in each region.
This mistake is on us, and we sincerely apologize to the fans affected by this from the bottom of our hearts.
Furthermore, we would like to thank our partners at Microsoft Japan and Nintendo of Europe, who did everything they could do right down to the wire to try to help us avoid this delay.
Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is still planned for release on PlayStation 4, Switch, 3DS outside of Europe, PS Vita, and PC on May 24.

The E3 2018 demo for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is now available for PC via Steam to Kickstarter backers of the $60 USD level and above, publisher 505 Games announced.
Here is an overview of the demo, via 505 Games:
Now available as a digital download on Steam for PC, players will be treated to refined content and features, while previewing new enemies and NPCs and taking a deeper look at game narrative and quests. First showcased at 2018 E3 earlier this month, the demo places players on a sailing ship upon stormy seas before progressing through a village and into a dark castle setting, introducing new characters, enemies and bosses along the way. For the first time, players will also be able to experience alchemy and crafting and visit shopkeeper/exorcist Dominique to stock up on various goods to aid them on their journey.
Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is due out for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, and PS Vita in the first half of 2018.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night has been delayed from its previously planned “first half of 2018” release window to 2019, and the PS Vita version is no longer in development, publisher 505 Games announced. It will now only be released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.

There are two important announcements we would like to make in this month’s update.
Our first announcement is that the game will now launch in 2019. The most important reason for this is to raise the quality level, especially after all the very valuable feedback from the Beta Backer Demo.
The second announcement is that the game will no longer launch on PlayStation Vita. This decision is largely due to Sony’s plans to discontinue the Vita console, ending production of physical copies and stopping certain online store support features.
It is extremely unfortunate, but as a result, we won’t be releasing the game on Vita. For the backers who have ordered the PS Vita version of the game, you will be able to choose another platform or request a refund.
This process should be expected through an email that will be sent by Fangamer. It may be troublesome, but please be sure to respond and make the changes. [Note: Vita backers will be receiving an e-mail with additional instructions soon. Vita backers who would like to change platforms can do so now on their survey pages. Vita backers who backed at an unlimited tier and can receive a refund over PayPal can submit a request before 9/20/18 to initiate a manual refund of the affected games.]
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience or disappointment, but rest assured we are working harder than ever to deliver the game we all made happen together, please bear with us for a little longer and I thank you for your continued support.
