First, you need to know, English is the international language.

After you master it, where ever you go you wont have any consent because where ever county yo are going sure have people that understand on this language.

Second, most of the knowledge book are written in English.

if you want to know the knowledge you need to know on English, yes I understand that there will have translations of the version of that book, but in more accurate, still is the original English version.
(you have to know, some time the translations also will have mistake on the meaning of translations)

Third, even in Malaysia, mostly of the high salary job is require know and speak well and understanding well in English.

if you go to interview, and you don't no and not understanding in English I don't think so that you will getting that job.

and by the way, mostly the highly advance and high salary company is from the east, and what is the language that the eastern people speak of?

mostly of the machine that in use, product that is use and in the productions line, witch language that is using?

Fourth, witch is the best and famous university in this world? and witch language they are using on there lesson and teaching?

Fifth, event the most best and the mostly use system, example, Microsoft, Android, IOS and event mostly all of the programming language is in English.

just by the 5 reason on the top, tell me, if you didn't understand English, how advance you can be?

我本身很清楚英文的重要性，我本身不是英文教育出生的，而且别说写英文字，连英语都不太会说，念学院的时候才知道什么事头痛，终于毕业工作了，哪里知道在工作开始不久，我就被丢去了一个德国公司，当时我才知道，鸡桶鸭讲，的感觉是如何。

过后硬着头皮乱讲努力学，到现在才比较会英文，在公司工作也才顺利起来，而且在德国公司工作的时候，很肯定，不会英文会是死路一条因为当时有数个友族同胞，念某某大学，用某某语言教学，当时叫他们混合 chamical 他们完全不会看，因为他们念的时候是某某文，然后在公司使用的是英文，差的混合错误而导致爆炸。

那么你跟我说，学习英文的功用多不多，好不好？

Well,instead of improve image i will rather say that ability to speak English fluently will definitely boosts your self-confidence when dealing with anyone or anything.

In my opinion, every language is important. When you can speak more language than other people do, you can communicate with more people and this is gonna be very helpful in your life. In short, the more the languages you can speak, the more the advantages you will get. There is nothing to lose in learning other languages. (Sorry maybe I'm out of topic hehe

I think English is extremely important to communicate.
It's undeny that everyone of the world now is using English as a communication language.

沟通是这个现在社会最重要的，小女我本身小学不好好学习
导致现在英文都是半桶水，只能说一些比较basic的英文，所以很多时候见到那些人会用英文来交谈都会很羡慕他们，觉得他们很有本事！

It can allows you to work at any country which is applied in ENGLISH language. Point, as long as you are fluent in english, you can travel anywhere where it is use in english. The more language you learn and fluent in, the more advantages you get.

It might appear to be a trend in which people nowadays have come to know the importance of grasping or mastering English as the international language. Undoubtedly, it will provide you worldwide opportunities for you to further studies or apply for a job position. Think about it, if an employer were to pick among two potential and talented people to be the company's right hand, it goes without saying that the one with more eloquence and understanding of English as second language will stand a higher chance to be employed. Besides, English is the language of knowledge as well since most technology is invented by the Western countries and there's a number of journals or books that contain knowledge of science, medicine or art since time immemorial which will be truly enlightening if you know how to read it and enrich your mind. I would say one will lag behind of the world if you do not master it, though I am not highly discouraging the learning of other languages but when it comes to English, you gotta get to know a thing or two for your own advantages.

Because if you're fluent in English, you basically can go anywhere because there must be someone understand English, even just a tiny bit.

Fully agree, if you do not understand english you were 50% behind the world battle. In fact, english was not as difficult as most people think if you really wanted to improve yourself.
